the woman, [2]
 
of both her children [2]

וַתֵּלַ֣כְנָה בַדֶּ֔רֶךְ [2] Zaqef

אֶל־אֶ֥רֶץ יְהוּדָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

לֵ֣כְנָה שֹּׁ֔בְנָה [2] Zaqef

*יעשה **יַ֣עַשׂ יְהֹוָ֤ה עִמָּכֶם֙ [3] Pashta

to the house of her mother. [1]
 
May the LORD deal with you [3]
kindly, [2]
 
just as you have dealt [3]
with the dead [2]

לְעַמֵּֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq

“No, but we will return with you [2]
to your people.” [1]
11 וַתֹּ֤אמֶר נׇעֳמִי֙ [3] Pashta
שֹׁ֣בְנָה בְנֹתַ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
לָ֥מָּה תֵלַ֖כְנָה [2] Tip'cha

הַֽעֽוֹד־לִ֤י בָנִים֙ [3] Pashta

then Orpah kissed [3]

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר לַקּוֹצְרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
יְהֹוָ֣ה עִמָּכֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֥אמְרוּ ל֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
יְבָרֶכְךָ֥ יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

was coming [3]
from Bethlehem, [2]
 
and he said to the reapers, [2]
“May the LORD be with you.” [1]
 
And they answered him, [2]
“May the LORD bless you.” [1]

הַנִּצָּ֥ב עַל־הַקּוֹצְרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
וַיֹּאמַ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
נַעֲרָ֤ה מֽוֹאֲבִיָּה֙ [3] Pashta
הִ֔יא [2] Zaqef
 
הַשָּׁ֥בָה עִֽם־נׇעֳמִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
מִשְּׂדֵ֥י מוֹאָֽב׃ [1] Silluq

who was appointed over the reapers, [2]
and he said; [1]
 
“A Moabite young woman [3]
she is, [2]
 
who returned with Naomi [2]
from the country of Moab. [1]

אֲלַקֳּטָה־נָּא֙ [3] Pashta
וְאָסַפְתִּ֣י בָעֳמָרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef

‘Please let me glean [3]
and I will gather among the sheaves [2]

the reapers.’ [1]
 
So she came, and she has continued [3]

“Why have I found favor in your eyes, [3 3]

“Fully it has been told [4]

all that you have done [3]
for your mother-in-law [2]

the death of your husband; [1]
 
that you left [4]
your father and your mother, [3]
 
and the land [3 3]
of your relatives, [2]
 
and you have come [2]
to a people [2]
which you didn’t know [2]
before (three days ago). [1]

וַיִּצְבׇּט־לָ֣הּ קָלִ֔י [2] Zaqef
וַתֹּ֥אכַל וַתִּשְׂבַּ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
וַתֹּתַֽר׃ [1] Silluq

and eat some bread, [2]
 
and dip your morsel [2]
in the vinegar.” [1]

and he passed to her roasted grain, [2]
and she ate and she was satisfied, [2]
and she had some left over. [1]

וְלֹ֥א תַכְלִימֽוּהָ׃ [1] Silluq

Boaz commanded his servants [4]

“Even among the sheaves [3]
let her glean, [2]
 
and don’t reproach her. [1]

שֹׁל־תָּשֹׁ֥לּוּ לָ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha
מִן־הַצְּבָתִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וַעֲזַבְתֶּ֥ם וְלִקְּטָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וְלֹ֥א תִגְעֲרוּ־בָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq

some from the bundles; [1]
 
and leave them and let her glean [2]
and don’t rebuke her.” [1]

אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר־לִקֵּ֔טָה [2] Zaqef

כְּאֵיפָ֥ה שְׂעֹרִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

until evening; [1]
 
and she beat out [3]
that which she had gleaned, [2]
 
and it was [2]
about an ephah of barley. [1]

וַתָּב֣וֹא הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef
 
וַתֵּ֥רֶא חֲמוֹתָ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha
אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר־לִקֵּ֑טָה [1] Etnachta
 
וַתּוֹצֵא֙ [3] Pashta
וַתִּתֶּן־לָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef
 
אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־הוֹתִ֖רָה [2] Tip'cha

and her mother-in-law saw [2]
