[1] Silluq |
1 And it came, [3] the word of the LORD of Hosts [2] saying. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
2 Thus says he, [3] the LORD of Hosts, [2] with great jealousy; [1] I am jealous for her.” [1] |
3 Thus [3] says the LORD, [2] to Zion, [2] in the middle of Jerusalem; [1] ‘The City of Faithfulness,’ [2] ‘The Holy Mountain.’ ” [1] |
4 Thus he says, [3] the LORD of Hosts, [2] old men and old women, [2] of Jerusalem; [1] in his hand [2] from (their) many days. [1] |
5 And the streets of the city, [3] they will be filled with [2] and girls; [1] in its streets.” [1] ¶ |
6 Thus he says, [3] the LORD of Hosts, [2] in the eyes [3] of the remnant [3] of this people, [2] those; [1] should it be marvelous?” [2] the LORD of Hosts. [1] ¶ |
7 Thus he says, [3] the LORD of Hosts, [2] my people [2] from the land of the east; [1] of the setting of the sun, [1] |
8 and I will bring them, [2] and they will dwell [2] within Jerusalem; [1] and I [3] I will become theirs [3] as God, [2] and in righteousness.” [1] ¶ |
[2] Tip'cha |
9 Thus says he, [3] the LORD of Hosts, [2] in these days [2] these words; [1] of the prophets, [2] in the day [4] that the house of the LORD of Hosts was founded, [3] the temple, [2] |
10 For [3] before [3] those days, [2] there was none, [2] there was none; [1] from the enemy, [2] each against his neighbor. [1] |
11 But now, [3] not as in the former days [3] will I be [2] of this people,” [1] the LORD of Hosts. [1] |
12 “For the seed of peace, [3] it will yield its fruit, [3] it will give its produce, [2] they will give their dew; [1] to the remnant [3] of this people, [2] all these things. [1] |
13 And it shall be, [4] just as you were a curse [4] among the nations, [3] and house of Israel, [2] will I save you, [2] a blessing. [1] Let your hands be strong.” [1] § |
14 For thus he says, [3] the LORD of Hosts, [2] to do harm to you, [3] I was,” [2] the LORD of Hosts; [1] did I relent, [1] |
[1] Etnachta |
15 so have I turned back and have planned [3 3] in these days, [2] and to the house of Judah. [1] |
16 These are the things [2] that you shall do; [1] each with his neighbor, [2] and justice of peace, [2] in your gates, [1] |
17 and each [4] the harm of his neighbor [3] in your heart, [2] do not love; [1] are things that I hate,” [2] says the LORD. [1] ¶ |
[1] Silluq |
18 And it came, [3] the word of the LORD of Hosts [2] to me saying, [1] |
19 כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר [4] Gershayim יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת [3] Revi'i וְצ֣וֹם הַחֲמִישִׁי֩ וְצ֨וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י [4] Geresh וְצ֣וֹם הָעֲשִׂירִ֗י [3] Revi'i לְשָׂשׂ֣וֹן וּלְשִׂמְחָ֔ה [2] Zaqef טוֹבִ֑ים [1] Etnachta אֱהָֽבוּ׃ [1] Silluq פ |
19 Thus he says, [4] the LORD of Hosts, [3] and the fast of the fifth and the fast of the seventh [4] and the fast of the tenth, [3] joy and gladness, [2] of cheer; [1] love.” [1] ¶ |
20 Thus he says, [2] the LORD of Hosts; [1] will peoples come, [2] of many cities, [1] |
21 and they shall go, [4] the inhabitants of one to another [4] saying, [3] to entreat [3] the face of the LORD, [2] the LORD of Hosts; [1] I also.’ [1] |
22 And they will come, many peoples [3] and mighty nations, [2] the LORD of Hosts [2] in Jerusalem; [1] the face of the LORD.” [1] § |
23 Thus he says, [3] the LORD of Hosts, [2] ten people, [2] the languages of the nations; [1] of the skirt of a Jewish person [4] saying, [3] with you, [2] that God is with you.’ ” [1] ¶ |
