1 רוּחִ֣י חֻ֭בָּלָה [3] Dechi
יָמַ֥י נִזְעָ֗כוּ [3/2] Revi'i
קְבָרִ֥ים לִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 1 “My spirit is consumed. My days are extinct, and the grave is ready for me. [3]
2 אִם־לֹ֣א הֲ֭תֻלִים [3] Dechi
עִמָּדִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְהַמְּרוֹתָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תָּלַ֥ן עֵינִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 Surely there are mockers with me. My eye dwells on their provocation. [3]
3 שִֽׂימָה־נָּ֭א [3] Dechi
עָרְבֵ֣נִי עִמָּ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
מִֽי ה֝֗וּא [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְיָדִ֥י יִתָּקֵֽעַ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 “Now give a pledge. Be collateral for me with yourself. Who is there who will strike hands with me? [3]
4 כִּֽי־לִ֭בָּם [3] Dechi
צָפַ֣נְתָּ מִּשָּׂ֑כֶל [2] Etnachta
 
עַל־כֵּ֝֗ן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א תְרֹמֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 For you have hidden their heart from understanding, Therefore you will not exalt them. [3]
5 לְ֭חֵלֶק [3] Dechi
יַגִּ֣יד רֵעִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְעֵינֵ֖י בָנָ֣יו [2] VRevMug
תִּכְלֶֽנָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 He who denounces his friends for plunder, Even the eyes of his children will fail. [3]
6 וְֽ֭הִצִּגַנִי [3] Dechi
לִמְשֹׁ֣ל עַמִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְתֹ֖פֶת לְפָנִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
אֶֽהְיֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 “But he has made me a byword of the people. They spit in my face. [3]
7 וַתֵּ֣כַהּ מִכַּ֣עַשׂ [3] VDechi
עֵינִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וִֽיצֻרַ֖י כַּצֵּ֣ל [2] VRevMug
כֻּלָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 My eye also is dim by reason of sorrow. All my members are as a shadow. [3]
8 יָשֹׁ֣מּוּ יְשָׁרִ֣ים [3] VDechi
עַל־זֹ֑את [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝נָקִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־חָנֵ֥ף יִתְעֹרָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 Upright men will be astonished at this. The innocent will stir himself up against the godless. [3]
9 וְיֹאחֵ֣ז צַדִּ֣יק [3] VDechi
דַּרְכּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וּֽטֳהָר־יָ֝דַ֗יִם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יֹסִ֥יף אֹֽמֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 Yet the righteous will hold to his way. He who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger. [3]
10 וְֽאוּלָ֗ם [3] Revi'i
כֻּלָּ֣ם תָּ֭שֻׁבוּ [3] Dechi
וּבֹ֣אוּ נָ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
וְלֹֽא־אֶמְצָ֖א בָכֶ֣ם [2] VRevMug
חָכָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 10 But as for you all, come back. I will not find a wise man among you. [3]
11 יָמַ֣י עָ֭בְרוּ [3] Dechi
זִמֹּתַ֣י נִתְּק֑וּ [2] Etnachta
 
מ֖וֹרָשֵׁ֣י [2] VRevMug
לְבָבִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 My days are past. My plans are broken off, as are the thoughts of my heart. [3]
12 לַ֭יְלָה [3] Dechi
לְי֣וֹם יָשִׂ֑ימוּ [2] Etnachta
 
א֝֗וֹר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
קָר֥וֹב מִפְּנֵי־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 They change the night into day, saying ‘The light is near’ in the presence of darkness. [3]
13 אִם־אֲ֭קַוֶּה [3] Dechi
שְׁא֣וֹל בֵּיתִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
בַּ֝חֹ֗שֶׁךְ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
רִפַּ֥דְתִּי יְצוּעָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 If I look for Sheol as my house, if I have spread my couch in the darkness, [3]
14 לַשַּׁ֣חַת קָ֭רָאתִי [3] Dechi
אָ֣בִי אָ֑תָּה [2] Etnachta
 
אִמִּ֥י וַ֝אֲחֹתִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לָֽרִמָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 if I have said to corruption, ‘You are my father,’ to the worm, ‘My mother,’ and ‘My sister,’ [3]
15 וְ֭אַיֵּה [3] Dechi
אֵפ֣וֹ תִקְוָתִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝תִקְוָתִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִ֣י יְשׁוּרֶֽנָּה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 where then is my hope? As for my hope, who will see it? [3]
16 בַּדֵּ֣י שְׁאֹ֣ל [3] VDechi
תֵּרַ֑דְנָה [2] Etnachta
 
אִם־יַ֖חַד עַל־עָפָ֣ר [2] VRevMug
נָֽחַת׃ [1] Silluq

2 3 2 16 Shall it go down with me to the gates of Sheol, or descend together into the dust?” ¶ [3]
