1 אַף־לְ֭זֹאת [3] Dechi
יֶחֱרַ֣ד לִבִּ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝יִתַּ֗ר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִמְּקוֹמֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 “Yes, at this my heart trembles, and is moved out of its place. [3]
2 שִׁמְע֤וּ שָׁמ֣וֹעַ בְּרֹ֣גֶז [3] VDechi
קֹל֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝הֶ֗גֶה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִפִּ֥יו יֵצֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, the sound that goes out of his mouth. [3]
3 תַּֽחַת־כָּל־הַשָּׁמַ֥יִם יִשְׁרֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝אוֹר֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־כַּנְפ֥וֹת הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 3 He sends it out under the whole sky, and his lightning to the ends of the earth. [2]
 
4 אַחֲרָ֤יו ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
יִשְׁאַג־ק֗וֹל [3] Revi'i
 
יַ֭רְעֵם [3] Dechi
בְּק֣וֹל גְּאוֹנ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְלֹ֥א יְ֝עַקְּבֵ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כִּֽי־יִשָּׁמַ֥ע קוֹלֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 4 After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty. He doesn’t hold back anything when his voice is heard. [4]
5 יַרְעֵ֤ם אֵ֣ל בְּ֭קוֹלוֹ [3] Dechi
נִפְלָא֑וֹת [2] Etnachta
 
עֹשֶׂ֥ה גְ֝דֹל֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְלֹ֣א נֵדָֽע׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can’t comprehend. [3]
6 כִּ֤י לַשֶּׁ֨לַג ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
יֹאמַ֗ר [3] Revi'i
הֱוֵ֫א אָ֥רֶץ [2] Ole Veyored
 
וְגֶ֥שֶׁם מָטָ֑ר [2] Etnachta
וְ֝גֶ֗שֶׁם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִטְר֥וֹת עֻזּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 2 6 For he says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of his mighty rain. [4]
7 בְּיַד־כָּל־אָדָ֥ם יַחְתּ֑וֹם [2] Etnachta
 
לָ֝דַ֗עַת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כָּל־אַנְשֵׁ֥י מַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 7 He seals up the hand of every man, that all men whom he has made may know it. [2]
 
8 וַתָּבֹ֣א חַיָּ֣ה [3] VDechi
בְמוֹ־אָ֑רֶב [2] Etnachta
 
וּבִמְע֖וֹנֹתֶ֣יהָ [2] VRevMug
תִשְׁכֹּֽן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 Then the animals take cover, and remain in their dens. [3]
9 מִן־הַ֭חֶדֶר [3] Dechi
תָּב֣וֹא סוּפָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וּֽמִמְּזָרִ֥ים קָרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 9 Out of its room comes the storm, and cold out of the north. [3]
10 מִנִּשְׁמַת־אֵ֥ל יִתֶּן־קָ֑רַח [2] Etnachta
 
וְרֹ֖חַב מַ֣יִם [2] VRevMug
בְּמוּצָֽק׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 10 By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen. [2]
 
11 אַף־בְּ֭רִי [3] Dechi
יַטְרִ֣יחַ עָ֑ב [2] Etnachta
 
יָ֝פִ֗יץ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עֲנַ֣ן אוֹרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning. [3]
12 וְה֤וּא מְסִבּ֨וֹת ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
מִתְהַפֵּ֣ךְ *בתחבולתו **בְּתַחְבּוּלֹתָ֣יו [3] VDechi
לְפָעֳלָ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
כֹּ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְצַוֵּ֓ם ׀ [2] ShalsheletG
עַל־פְּנֵ֖י תֵבֵ֣ל [2] VRevMug
אָֽרְצָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 2 12 It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world, [4]
13 אִם־לְשֵׁ֥בֶט אִם־לְאַרְצ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
אִם־לְ֝חֶ֗סֶד [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יַמְצִאֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 13 Whether it is for correction, or for his land, or for loving kindness, that he causes it to come. [2]
 
14 הַאֲזִ֣ינָה זֹּ֣את [3] VDechi
אִיּ֑וֹב [2] Etnachta
 
עֲ֝מֹ֗ד [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְהִתְבּוֹנֵ֤ן ׀ [4/2] Mahpakh Legarmeh
נִפְלְא֬וֹת אֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 14 “Listen to this, Job. Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God. [3]
15 הֲ֭תֵדַע [3] Dechi
בְּשׂוּם־אֱל֣וֹהַּ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝הוֹפִ֗יעַ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
א֣וֹר עֲנָנֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 Do you know how God controls them, and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine? [3]
16 הֲ֭תֵדַע [3] Dechi
עַל־מִפְלְשֵׂי־עָ֑ב [2] Etnachta
 
מִ֝פְלְא֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תְּמִ֣ים דֵּעִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge? [3]
17 אֲשֶׁר־בְּגָדֶ֥יךָ חַמִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
בְּהַשְׁקִ֥ט אֶ֝֗רֶץ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִדָּרֽוֹם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 17 You whose clothing is warm, when the earth is still by reason of the south wind? [2]
 
18 תַּרְקִ֣יעַ עִ֭מּוֹ [3] Dechi
לִשְׁחָקִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
חֲ֝זָקִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כִּרְאִ֥י מוּצָֽק׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 Can you, with him, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror? [3]
19 ה֭וֹדִיעֵנוּ [3] Dechi
מַה־נֹּ֣אמַר ל֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
לֹ֥א־נַ֝עֲרֹ֗ךְ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִפְּנֵי־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 Teach us what we will tell him, for we can’t make our case by reason of darkness. [3]
20 הַֽיְסֻפַּר־ל֭וֹ [3] Dechi
כִּ֣י אֲדַבֵּ֑ר [2] Etnachta
 
אִֽם־אָ֥מַר אִ֝֗ישׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כִּ֣י יְבֻלָּֽע׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 20 Will it be told him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up? [3]
21 וְעַתָּ֤ה ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
לֹ֘א רָ֤אוּ א֗וֹר [3] Revi'i
 
בָּהִ֣יר ה֭וּא [3] Dechi
בַּשְּׁחָקִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְר֥וּחַ עָ֝בְרָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וַֽתְּטַהֲרֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 21 Now men don’t see the light which is bright in the skies, but the wind passes, and clears them. [4]
22 מִ֭צָּפוֹן [3] Dechi
זָהָ֣ב יֶֽאֱתֶ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
עַל־אֱ֝ל֗וֹהַּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נ֣וֹרָא הֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty. [3]
23 שַׁדַּ֣י לֹֽא־מְ֭צָאנֻהוּ [3] Dechi
שַׂגִּיא־כֹ֑חַ [2] Etnachta
 
וּמִשְׁפָּ֥ט וְרֹב־צְ֝דָקָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א יְעַנֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 23 We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress. [3]
24 לָ֭כֵן [3] Dechi
יְרֵא֣וּהוּ אֲנָשִׁ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
לֹֽא־יִ֝רְאֶ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כָּל־חַכְמֵי־לֵֽב׃ [1] Silluq

2 3 2 24 Therefore men revere him. He doesn’t regard any who are wise of heart.” ¶ [3]
