Paul in Macedonia and Greece

Paul in Macedonia and Greece

20After the uproar ceased, Paul [fn]summoned the disciples, [fn]said goodbye, and departed to go to Macedonia. 2After going through those regions and encouraging the believers with many words, he came to Greece, 3where he stayed for three months. As he was about to set sail for Syria, a plot was made against him by the Jews, so [fn]the decision was made to return by way of Macedonia. 4Sopater of [fn]Berea accompanied him [fn]as far as Asia, and so did Aristarchus and Secundus of Thessalonica, Gaius of Derbe, Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia. 5These men went on ahead and waited for us in Troas. 6But we sailed from Philippi after the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and five days later we came to them at Troas, where we stayed for seven days.
