	¹שִׁמְע֞וּ [4] Gershayim אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֗ה [3] Revi'i אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהֹוָ֛ה [3] Tevir עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta עַ֚ל [3] Yetiv כׇּל־הַמִּשְׁפָּחָ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֧ר הֶעֱלֵ֛יתִי [3] Tevir מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha לֵאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq		¹Hear [4] this word [3] that the LORD has spoken [3] against you, [2] O children of Israel; [1] against [3] the whole family [2] which I brought up [3] from the land of Egypt, [2] saying, [1]
	²רַ֚ק [3] Yetiv אֶתְכֶ֣ם יָדַ֔עְתִּי [2] Zaqef מִכֹּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת הָאֲדָמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta עַל־כֵּן֙ [3] Pashta אֶפְקֹ֣ד עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha כׇּל־עֲוֺנֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq		²“Only [3] you have I chosen [2] from all [2] the families of the earth; [1] therefore [3] I will visit on you [2] -- [2] all your sins.” [1]
	³הֲיֵלְכ֥וּ שְׁנַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha יַחְדָּ֑ו [1] Etnachta בִּלְתִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha אִם־נוֹעָֽדוּ׃ [1] Silluq		³Do two walk [2] together; [1] unless [2] they have agreed? [1]
	⁴הֲיִשְׁאַ֤ג אַרְיֵה֙ [3] Pashta בַּיַּ֔עַר [2] Zaqef וְטֶ֖רֶף [2] Tip'cha אֵ֣ין ל֑וֹ [1] Etnachta הֲיִתֵּ֨ן כְּפִ֤יר קוֹלוֹ֙ [3] Pashta מִמְּעֹ֣נָת֔וֹ [2] Zaqef בִּלְתִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha אִם־לָכָֽד׃ [1] Silluq		⁴Does a lion roar [3] in the forest, [2] when prey [2] it doesn't have? [1] Does a young lion growl [3] from its den, [2] unless [2] it has caught something? [1]
	⁵הֲתִפֹּ֤ל צִפּוֹר֙ [3] Pashta עַל־פַּ֣ח הָאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef וּמוֹקֵ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha אֵ֣ין לָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta הֲיַֽעֲלֶה־פַּח֙ [3] Pashta מִן־הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְלָכ֖וֹד [2] Tip'cha לֹ֥א יִלְכּֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq		⁵Does a bird fall [3] into a trap on the ground, [2] if a snare [2] is not set for it? [1] Does a snare spring up [3] from the ground, [2] and then [2] nothing it catches? [1]
	⁶אִם־יִתָּקַ֤ע שׁוֹפָר֙ [3] Pashta בְּעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef וְעָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha לֹ֣א יֶחֱרָ֑דוּ [1] Etnachta אִם־תִּֽהְיֶ֤ה רָעָה֙ [3] Pashta בְּעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef וַיהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לֹ֥א עָשָֽׂה׃ [1] Silluq		⁶If a shofar is blown [3] in a city, [2] the people, [2] will they not tremble? [1] If there is calamity [3] in a city, [2] the LORD, [2] has he not caused it? [1]
	⁷כִּ֣י לֹ֧א יַעֲשֶׂ֛ה [3] Tevir אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִ֖ה [2] Tip'cha דָּבָ֑ר [1] Etnachta כִּ֚י [3] Yetiv אִם־גָּלָ֣ה סוֹד֔וֹ [2] Zaqef אֶל־עֲבָדָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha הַנְּבִיאִֽים׃ [1] Silluq		⁷For he won't do, [3] the Lord GOD, [2] anything; [1] unless [3] he has revealed his counsel [2] to his servants [2] the prophets. [1]
	⁸אַרְיֵ֥ה שָׁאָ֖ג [2] Tip'cha מִ֣י לֹ֣א יִירָ֑א [1] Etnachta אֲדֹנָ֤י יֱהֹוִה֙ [3] Pashta דִּבֶּ֔ר [2] Zaqef מִ֖י [2] Tip'cha לֹ֥א יִנָּבֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq		⁸A lion has roared. [2] Who will not fear? [1] The Lord GOD, [3] he has spoken. [2] Who [2] shall not prophesy? [1]
	⁹הַשְׁמִ֙יעוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta עַל־אַרְמְנ֣וֹת בְּאַשְׁדּ֔וֹד [2] Zaqef וְעַֽל־אַרְמְנ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta וְאִמְר֗וּ [3] Revi'i הֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ [3] Pashta עַל־הָרֵ֣י שֹׁמְר֔וֹן [2] Zaqef וּרְא֞וּ [4] Gershayim מְהוּמֹ֤ת רַבּוֹת֙ [3] Pashta בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef וַעֲשׁוּקִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha בְּקִרְבָּֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq		⁹Proclaim [3 3] to the palaces in Ashdod, [2] and to the palaces [2] in the land of Egypt; [1] and say, [3] “Assemble yourselves [3] on the mountains of Samaria, [2] and see [4] great unrest [3] in the midst of it, [2] and oppression [2] in its midst.” [1]
	¹⁰וְלֹא־יָדְע֥וּ עֲשׂוֹת־נְכֹחָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta הָא֥וֹצְרִ֛ים [3] Tevir חָמָ֥ס וָשֹׁ֖ד [2] Tip'cha בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq פ		¹⁰“And they don’t know to do right,” [2] says the LORD; [1] “Who store up [3] violence and devastation [2] in their palaces.” [1] ¶
	¹¹לָכֵ֗ן [3] Revi'i כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ [3] Pashta אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה [2] Zaqef צַ֖ר [2] Tip'cha וּסְבִ֣יב הָאָ֑רֶץ [1] Etnachta וְהוֹרִ֤יד מִמֵּךְ֙ [3] Pashta עֻזֵּ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef וְנָבֹ֖זּוּ [2] Tip'cha אַרְמְנוֹתָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Silluq		¹¹Therefore [3] thus he says, [3] the Lord GOD, [2] “An adversary [2] will overrun the land; [1] and he will pull down from you [3] your strongholds, [2] and they will be plundered, [2] your fortresses.” [1]
	¹²כֹּה֮ [3] Zarqa אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָה֒ [2] Segol כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ יַצִּ֨יל הָרֹעֶ֜ה [4] Geresh מִפִּ֧י הָאֲרִ֛י [3] Tevir שְׁתֵּ֥י כְרָעַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha א֣וֹ בְדַל־אֹ֑זֶן [1] Etnachta כֵּ֣ן יִנָּצְל֞וּ [4] Gershayim בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל [3] Revi'i הַיֹּֽשְׁבִים֙ [3] Pashta בְּשֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן [2] Zaqef בִּפְאַ֥ת מִטָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וּבִדְמֶ֥שֶׁק עָֽרֶשׂ׃ [1] Silluq		¹²Thus [3] says the LORD, [2] “Just as the shepherd delivers [4] from the mouth of the lion, [3] two legs, [2] or a piece of an ear; [1] so shall they be delivered, [4] the children of Israel [3] who dwell [3] in Samaria, [2] with a corner of a bed [2] and with silk cushions of a couch.” [1]
	¹³שִׁמְע֥וּ וְהָעִ֖ידוּ [2] Tip'cha בְּבֵ֣ית יַעֲקֹ֑ב [1] Etnachta נְאֻם־אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֱלֹהֵ֥י הַצְּבָאֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq		¹³“Hear and warn [2] in the house of Jacob,” [1] says the Lord GOD, [2] the God of Hosts. [1]
	¹⁴כִּ֗י [3] Revi'i בְּי֛וֹם [3] Tevir פׇּקְדִ֥י פִשְׁעֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha עָלָ֑יו [1] Etnachta וּפָֽקַדְתִּי֙ [3] Pashta עַל־מִזְבְּח֣וֹת בֵּֽית־אֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef וְנִגְדְּעוּ֙ [3] Pashta קַרְנ֣וֹת הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ [2] Zaqef וְנָפְל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha לָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁴“For [3] on the day [3] that I visit the transgressions of Israel [2] on him; [1] I will visit [3] the altars of Bethel, [2] and they will be cut off [3] the horns of the altar, [2] and they will fall [2] to the ground. [1]
	¹⁵וְהִכֵּיתִ֥י בֵית־הַחֹ֖רֶף [2] Tip'cha עַל־בֵּ֣ית הַקָּ֑יִץ [1] Etnachta וְאָבְד֞וּ [4] Gershayim בָּתֵּ֣י הַשֵּׁ֗ן [3] Revi'i וְסָפ֛וּ [3] Tevir בָּתִּ֥ים רַבִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq ס		¹⁵And I will strike the winter house [2] with the summer house; [1] and they will perish, [4] the houses of ivory, [3] and will have an end [3] the great houses,” [2] says the LORD.
