וַתִּתְפָּ֣עֶם רוּח֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
וּשְׁנָת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
נִהְיְתָ֥ה עָלָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq

Nebuchadnezzar dreamed [2]
dreams; [1]
 
and his spirit was troubled, [2]
and his sleep, [2]

“A dream I have dreamed; [1]

תִּתְעַבְד֔וּן [2] Zaqef

נְוָלִ֥י יִתְּשָׂמֽוּן׃ [1] Silluq

“The word [2]
from me is firm; [1]
 
if you don’t make known to me [3 3]
the dream and its interpretation, [2]
 
in pieces [3]
you will be cut, [2]
 
and your houses, [2]
they will be made a refuse heap. [1]
6 וְהֵ֨ן חֶלְמָ֤א וּפִשְׁרֵהּ֙ [3] Pashta

מַתְּנָ֤ן וּנְבִזְבָּה֙ [3] Pashta
וִיקָ֣ר שַׂגִּ֔יא [2] Zaqef

the dream [3]
let him tell to his servants, [2]

יָדַ֣ע אֲנָ֔ה [2] Zaqef

you are trying to gain; [1]

that firm [2]
from me is the word, [1]
9 דִּ֣י הֵן־חֶלְמָא֩ לָ֨א תְהֽוֹדְעֻנַּ֜נִי [4] Geresh
חֲדָה־הִ֣יא דָֽתְכ֗וֹן [3] Revi'i
 
וּמִלָּ֨ה כִדְבָ֤ה וּשְׁחִיתָה֙ [3] Pashta

such a thing [3]
he has not asked [2]
 
of any magician [2]
or enchanter or Chaldean. [1]
