דניאל 6 | Daniel 6 | |||
[1] Silluq |
31 And Darius [3 3] the Mede, [2] the kingdom; [1] sixty and two. [1] |
|||
1 It pleased [3] Darius [2] over the kingdom [2] one hundred twenty; [1] throughout the kingdom, [1] |
|||
2 and over them [3] three administrators, [2] was one; [1] these satraps, [3] account, [2] he should not be troubled. [1] |
|||
3 Now [3 3] this Daniel, [2] among the administrators [2] and the satraps; [1] an extraordinary spirit [3] was in him, [2] to appoint him [2] over all the kingdom. [1] |
|||
5 אֱדַ֨יִן סָֽרְכַיָּ֜א [4] Geresh וַאֲחַשְׁדַּרְפְּנַיָּ֗א [3] Revi'i לְהַשְׁכָּחָ֥ה לְדָנִיֵּ֖אל [2] Tip'cha לָא־יָכְלִ֣ין לְהַשְׁכָּחָ֗ה [3] Revi'i דִּֽי־מְהֵימַ֣ן ה֔וּא [2] Zaqef וּשְׁחִיתָ֔ה [2] Zaqef עֲלֽוֹהִי׃ [1] Silluq |
4 Then the administrators [4] and satraps, [3] to find against Daniel [2] they could not find [3] he was trustworthy, [2] or corruption, [2] in him. [1] |
|||
5 Then [4 4] these men [3] said, [2] against this Daniel [2] any ground for complaint; [1] we find something concerning him [2] in the law of his God.” [1] § |
|||
6 Then [4 4] the administrators and satraps [3] these, [2] to the king; [1] they said to him, [2] live forever! [1] |
|||
7 They have consulted together, [4] all [4] the administrators of the kingdom, [3] the counselors and the governors, [2] of the king, [2] a decree; [1] from any god or man [4] for thirty days [3] from you O king, [2] into the den [2] of lions. [1] |
|||
8 Now O king, [2] establish the decree [2] and sign the writing; [1] according to the law of the Medes and Persians, [2] which cannot be revoked.” [1] |
|||
[1] Silluq |
9 So because of [2] this; [1] Darius, [2] and the decree. [1] |
|||
10 And Daniel, [4 4] when he knew [4] that the writing was signed, [3] he went into his house [2] in his upper room [2] Jerusalem; [1] he [4] got down on his knees [3] before his God, [2] he had been doing [2] this. [1] § |
|||
11 Then [4 4] these men, [3] they came as a group [2] Daniel; [1] before his God. [1] |
|||
[2] Tip'cha |
12 Then [4 4] they came near and said before the king [3] concerning the decree of the king, [2] who asks from god or man [4] for thirty days [3] from you O king, [2] into the den [2] of lions?” [1] and said, [3] according to the law of the Medes and Persians, [2] |
|||
13 Then [4 4] they answered and said [3] before the king, [2] who is one of the sons of the exile [4] of Judah, [3] respect, [2] that you signed; [1] in the day [2] his petition.” [1] ¶ |
|||
14 Then the king, [4] when he heard these words, [3] displeasing was it to him, [2] he set his mind, [2] to deliver him; [1] the going down of the sun [2] to rescue him. [1] § |
|||
15 Then [3 3] these men, [2] to the king; [1] “Know O king [3] that the law [3] of the Medes and Persians [2] which the king establishes [2] cannot be changed.” [1] |
|||
16 So [4] the king gave the order, [3] Daniel, [2] into the den [2] of lions. [1] and said to Daniel, [2] whom you serve [3] continually, [2] may he deliver you.” [1] |
|||
17 And it was brought, [3 3] a stone, [2] over the mouth of the den; [1] with his signet ring, [3] of his nobles, [2] nothing might be changed [2] concerning Daniel. [1] |
|||
18 Then [4 4] the king went to his palace, [3] and he passed the night fasting, [2] it was not brought in before him; [1] it fled from him. [1] |
|||
19 Then the king, [2] at the dawn [2] he arose at the daylight; [1] to the den of lions [2] he went, [1] |
|||
20 and as he came near to the den, [2] to Daniel [2] with a troubled voice [2] he cried out. [1] and said to Daniel, [3] servant [3] of the living God, [2] to whom you pay reverence [3] continually, [2] from the lions?” [1] |
|||
[1] Silluq |
21 Then [3 3] Daniel, [2] he said; [1] live forever! [1] |
|||
22 My God, [4] he sent his angel, [3] the mouth of the lions, [2] before him, [3 3] innocence, [3] it was found in me, [2] O king [2] I have not done.” [1] |

23 Then the king, [3] exceedingly [3] glad was he, [2] he commanded [2] to be taken up from the den; [1] from the den, [3] it was not found on him, [2] he had trusted in his God. [1] |

24 And the king commanded, [3] those men [3] Daniel, [2] they were thrown, [2] their sons and their wives; [1] the bottom of the den [3] they overpowered them, [3] the lions, [2] they crushed. [1] |
|||
[2] Tip'cha |
25 Then [4] Darius the king, [3] to all the peoples [4] nations and languages [3] that dwell in all the earth, [2] |

26 “From before me [3] is made a decree, [2] in all the dominion of my kingdom [3] with fear [2] the God of Daniel; [1] is the living God [3] forever, [2] is that which will not be destroyed, [2] will be to the end. [1] |

27 He delivers and he rescues, [2] signs and wonders [2] and on earth; [1] has delivered Daniel [2] of the lions.” [1] |
