2 “I [2] am the LORD your God, [1] from the land of Egypt, [2] from the house of bondage. [1] |

3 לֹ֣א יִהְיֶֽה־לְךָ֩ אֱלֹהִ֨ים אֲחֵרִ֜ים [4] Geresh עַל־פָּנַ֗י [3] Revi'i אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם ׀ מִמַּ֡עַל [4] Pazer וַֽאֲשֶׁר֩ בָּאָ֨רֶץ מִתַּ֜חַת [4] Geresh וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּמַּ֣יִם ׀ [4] Legarmeh מִתַּ֣חַת לָאָ֗רֶץ [3] Revi'i וְלֹ֣א תׇעׇבְדֵם֒ [2] Segol יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ [3 3] Pashta אֵ֣ל קַנָּ֔א [2] Zaqef עֲוֺ֨ן אָבֹ֧ת עַל־בָּנִ֛ים [3] Tevir עַל־שִׁלֵּשִׁ֥ים וְעַל־רִבֵּעִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha לְשֹׂנְאָ֑י [1] Etnachta לַאֲלָפִ֔ים [2] Zaqef וּלְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י מִצְוֺתָֽי׃ [1] Silluq ס |
3 “You shall not have other gods [4] before me. [3] that is in the heavens above, [4] or that is on the earth beneath, [4] or that is in the waters [4] under the earth; [3] nor serve them. [2] the LORD your God [3 3] am a jealous God, [2] the iniquity of fathers on children, [3] on the third and fourth generations [2] of those who hate me; [1] to thousands, [2] and keep my commandments. 8 “Remember the Sabbath day [4] to set it apart as holy. [3] and do all your work. [2 2] is a Sabbath [4] to the LORD your God; [3] you and your son and your daughter, [4 4] your male servant and your female servant [4] and your livestock, [3] who is within your gates. [2] heaven and earth, [3] and all that is in them, [2] on the seventh day. [1] the LORD blessed [3] the Sabbath day, [2] and he set it apart as holy. [1] § |

5 “You shall not bow down to them [2] nor serve them, [1] the LORD your God [3 3] am a jealous God, [2] the iniquity of fathers on children, [3] on the third and fourth generations [2] of those who hate me, [1] |

6 and showing lovingkindness [2] to thousands, [1] and keep my commandments. [1] § |

19 And they said [3] to Moses, [2] and we will listen; [1] God, [2] lest we should die.” [1] |

20 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֣ה אֶל־הָעָם֮ [3] Zarqa אַל־תִּירָ֒אוּ֒ [2 2] Segol לְבַֽעֲבוּר֙ [3] Pashta נַסּ֣וֹת אֶתְכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים [1] Etnachta תִּהְיֶ֧ה יִרְאָת֛וֹ [3] Tevir עַל־פְּנֵיכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha לְבִלְתִּ֥י תֶחֱטָֽאוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
20 And Moses said to the people, [3] “Don’t be afraid, [2 2] in order [3] to test you [2] God, [1] his fear may be [3] before you, [2] that you will not sin.” [1] |

21 And the people stayed [2] at a distance; [1] he drew near to the thick darkness, [2] God. [1] § |

23 You must not make [2] alongside me; [1] and gods of gold; [2] for yourselves. [1] |

24 מִזְבַּ֣ח אֲדָמָה֮ [3] Zarqa תַּעֲשֶׂה־לִּי֒ [2] Segol אֶת־עֹלֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ [3 3] Pashta וְאֶת־שְׁלָמֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef וְאֶת־בְּקָרֶ֑ךָ [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַזְכִּ֣יר אֶת־שְׁמִ֔י [2] Zaqef וּבֵרַכְתִּֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq |
24 An altar of earth [3] you shall make for me, [2] your burnt offerings [3 3] and your peace offerings, [2] and your cattle. [1] where I make my name be remembered, [2] and I will bless you. [1] |

25 וְאִם־מִזְבַּ֤ח אֲבָנִים֙ [3] Pashta תַּֽעֲשֶׂה־לִּ֔י [2] Zaqef גָּזִ֑ית [1] Etnachta הֵנַ֥פְתָּ עָלֶ֖יהָ [2] Tip'cha וַתְּחַֽלְלֶֽהָ׃ [1] Silluq |
25 And if an altar of stones [3] you make for me, [2] of cut stones; [1] you have used on it, [2] you have profaned it. [1] |

26 וְלֹֽא־תַעֲלֶ֥ה בְמַעֲלֹ֖ת [2] Tip'cha עַֽל־מִזְבְּחִ֑י [1] Etnachta לֹֽא־תִגָּלֶ֥ה עֶרְוָתְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha עָלָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq פ |
26 And you must not go up on steps [2] to my altar, [1] your nakedness will not be exposed [2] on it.’ [1] ¶ |
