עֲלֵ֣ה אֶל־יְהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
 
אַתָּה֙ [3] Pashta
וְאַהֲרֹן֙ [3] Pashta
נָדָ֣ב וַאֲבִיה֔וּא [2] Zaqef
 
וְשִׁבְעִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
מִזִּקְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta
 
וְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
מֵרָחֹֽק׃ [1] Silluq

“Come up to the LORD, [3]
 
you, [3]
and Aaron [3]
Nadab and Abihu, [2]
 
and the seventy [2]
elders of Israel; [1]
 
and you will worship [2]
from afar. [1]
2 וְנִגַּ֨שׁ מֹשֶׁ֤ה לְבַדּוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
אֶל־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְהֵ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֣א יִגָּ֑שׁוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְהָעָ֕ם [2] ZaqefG
לֹ֥א יַעֲל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
עִמּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

to the LORD, [2]
 
but they, [2]
they may not draw near; [1]
 
and the people, [2]
they shall not go up [2]
with him.” [1]

כׇּל־דִּבְרֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
כׇּל־הַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וַיַּ֨עַן כׇּל־הָעָ֜ם [4] Geresh
ק֤וֹל אֶחָד֙ [3] Pashta
וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ [2] Zaqef
 
כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִ֛ים [3] Tevir
אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
נַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ [1] Silluq

all the ordinances; [1]
 
and all the people answered [4]
with one voice [3]

“All the words [3]
which the LORD has spoken, [2]
will we do.” [1]

וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֣ם בַּבֹּ֔קֶר [2] Zaqef
וַיִּ֥בֶן מִזְבֵּ֖חַ [2] Tip'cha
תַּ֣חַת הָהָ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
וּשְׁתֵּ֤ים עֶשְׂרֵה֙ [3] Pashta
מַצֵּבָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
לִשְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq

all the words of the LORD, [2]
 
then he rose up early in the morning [2]
and he built an altar [2]
below the mountain; [1]
 
with two and ten [3]
pillars [2]
 
for the two and ten [2]
tribes of Israel. [1]
5 וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח [3] Revi'i
אֶֽת־נַעֲרֵי֙ [3] Pashta
בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
וַיַּֽעֲל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
עֹלֹ֑ת [1] Etnachta
 
וַֽיִּזְבְּח֞וּ [4] Gershayim
זְבָחִ֧ים שְׁלָמִ֛ים [3] Tevir
לַיהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
פָּרִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

and they sacrificed [2]
burnt offerings; [1]
 
and they sacrificed [4]
peace offerings [3]
to the LORD [2]
of young bulls. [1]
6 וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֹשֶׁה֙ [3] Pashta
חֲצִ֣י הַדָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וַיָּ֖שֶׂם [2] Tip'cha
בָּאַגָּנֹ֑ת [1] Etnachta
 
וַחֲצִ֣י הַדָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef
זָרַ֖ק [2] Tip'cha
עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ [1] Silluq

half of the blood [2]
 
and he put it [2]
in bowls; [1]
 
and half of the blood [2]
he sprinkled [2]
on the altar. [1]
7 וַיִּקַּח֙ [3] Pashta
סֵ֣פֶר הַבְּרִ֔ית [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּקְרָ֖א [2] Tip'cha
בְּאׇזְנֵ֣י הָעָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ [2] Zaqef
 
כֹּ֛ל [3] Tevir
אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
נַעֲשֶׂ֥ה וְנִשְׁמָֽע׃ [1] Silluq

the book of the covenant [2]
 
and he read it [2]
in the hearing of the people; [1]
 
and they said, [2]
 
“all [3]
that the LORD has spoken, [2]
we will do and we will obey.” [1]
8 וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֹשֶׁה֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־הַדָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּזְרֹ֖ק [2] Tip'cha
עַל־הָעָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i
הִנֵּ֤ה דַֽם־הַבְּרִית֙ [3] Pashta
אֲשֶׁ֨ר כָּרַ֤ת יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
עִמָּכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
עַ֥ל כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ [1] Silluq

and he sprinkled it [2]
on the people; [1]
 
and he said, [3]
“Behold, the blood of the covenant [3]
which the LORD has made [3]
with you, [2]
 
in agreement with all the words [2]
these.” [1]

לִבְנַ֣ת הַסַּפִּ֔יר [2] Zaqef
 
וּכְעֶ֥צֶם הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
לָטֹֽהַר׃ [1] Silluq

and under his feet [3]
was like a work [3]
of pavement of sapphire, [2]
 
and like the substance of the heavens [2]
for clearness. [1]

בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֥א שָׁלַ֖ח [2] Tip'cha
יָד֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
וַֽיֶּחֱזוּ֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־הָ֣אֱלֹהִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וַיֹּאכְל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
וַיִּשְׁתּֽוּ׃ [1] Silluq

אֶת־לֻחֹ֣ת הָאֶ֗בֶן [3] Revi'i
 
וְהַתּוֹרָה֙ [3] Pashta
וְהַמִּצְוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר כָּתַ֖בְתִּי [2] Tip'cha
לְהוֹרֹתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

“Come up to me [3]
on the mountain, [2]
 
and stay there; [1]
 
and I will give you [4]
the tablets of stone [3]
 
with the law [3]
and the commandments, [2]
 
which I have written [2]
for their instruction.” [1]
13 וַיָּ֣קׇם מֹשֶׁ֔ה [2] Zaqef
וִיהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ [2] Tip'cha
מְשָׁרְת֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיַּ֥עַל מֹשֶׁ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
אֶל־הַ֥ר הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

with Joshua [2]
his servant; [1]
 
and Moses went up [2]
onto the Mountain of God. [1]
14 וְאֶל־הַזְּקֵנִ֤ים אָמַר֙ [3] Pashta
שְׁבוּ־לָ֣נוּ בָזֶ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
עַ֥ד אֲשֶׁר־נָשׁ֖וּב [2] Tip'cha
אֲלֵיכֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וְהִנֵּ֨ה אַהֲרֹ֤ן וְחוּר֙ [3] Pashta
עִמָּכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
מִי־בַ֥עַל דְּבָרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
יִגַּ֥שׁ אֲלֵהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

“Wait for us here [2]
 
until we come back [2]
to you; [1]
 
and behold Aaron and Hur [3]
are with you, [2]
 
whoever has a dispute, [2]
he should go to them.” [1]
15 וַיַּ֥עַל מֹשֶׁ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
אֶל־הָהָ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
וַיְכַ֥ס הֶעָנָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־הָהָֽר׃ [1] Silluq

on the mountain; [1]
 
the cloud covered [2]
the mountain. [1]
16 וַיִּשְׁכֹּ֤ן כְּבוֹד־יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
עַל־הַ֣ר סִינַ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
וַיְכַסֵּ֥הוּ הֶעָנָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
שֵׁ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וַיִּקְרָ֧א אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֛ה [3] Tevir
בַּיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
מִתּ֥וֹךְ הֶעָנָֽן׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 16 And the glory of the LORD settled [3]
upon Mount Sinai, [2]
 
and the cloud covered it [2]
six days; [1]
 
then he called to Moses [3]
on the seventh day [2]
from the midst of the cloud. [1]
17 וּמַרְאֵה֙ [3] Pashta
כְּב֣וֹד יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
כְּאֵ֥שׁ אֹכֶ֖לֶת [2] Tip'cha
בְּרֹ֣אשׁ הָהָ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
לְעֵינֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq

of the glory of the LORD [2]
 
was like a consuming fire [2]
on the top of the mountain; [1]
 
in the sight [2]
of the children of Israel. [1]
18 וַיָּבֹ֥א מֹשֶׁ֛ה [3] Tevir
בְּת֥וֹךְ הֶעָנָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
וַיַּ֣עַל אֶל־הָהָ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
וַיְהִ֤י מֹשֶׁה֙ [3] Pashta
בָּהָ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
אַרְבָּעִ֣ים י֔וֹם [2] Zaqef
וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
לָֽיְלָה׃ [1] Silluq

and he went up onto the mountain; [1]
