| 1 וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ [3 3] Pashta תּוֹלְדֹ֣ת בְּנֵי־נֹ֔חַ [2] Zaqef חָ֣ם וָיָ֑פֶת [1] Etnachta בָּנִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha אַחַ֥ר הַמַּבּֽוּל׃ [1] Silluq |
1 Now these [3 3] are the accounts of the sons of Noah, [2] Ham and Japheth; [1] sons [2] after the flood. [1] |

| 2 בְּנֵ֣י יֶ֔פֶת [2] Zaqef גֹּ֣מֶר וּמָג֔וֹג [2] Zaqef וּמָדַ֖י [2] Tip'cha וְיָוָ֣ן וְתֻבָ֑ל [1] Etnachta וְתִירָֽס׃ [1] Silluq |
2 The sons of Japheth were, [2] Gomer and Magog, [2] and Madai [2] and Javan and Tubal; [1] and Tiras. [1] |

3 And the sons [2] of Gomer were; [1] and Togarmah. [1] |

| 4 וּבְנֵ֥י יָוָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha אֱלִישָׁ֣ה וְתַרְשִׁ֑ישׁ [1] Etnachta וְדֹדָנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
4 And the sons of Javan were [2] Elishah and Tarshish; [1] and Dodanim. [1] |

5 From these [4 4] were divided [4] the coastlands of the nations, [3] in their own lands, [2] after its own language; [1] in their nations. [1] |

6 And the sons [2] of Ham were; [1] and Put and Canaan. [1] |

7 And the sons of Cush were, [2] and Havilah, [2] and Sabteca; [1] Sheba and Dedan. [1] |

| 8 וְכ֖וּשׁ [2] Tip'cha יָלַ֣ד אֶת־נִמְרֹ֑ד [1] Etnachta לִֽהְי֥וֹת גִּבֹּ֖ר [2] Tip'cha בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
8 And Cush, [2] to him was born Nimrod. [1] to be a mighty one [2] on the earth. [1] |

9 He, he was a mighty hunter [2] before the LORD; [1] it is said, [2] a mighty hunter [2] before the LORD”. [1] |

10 And the beginning of his kingdom was [3] Babel, [2] and Accad and Calneh; [1] of Shinar. [1] |

| 11 מִן־הָאָ֥רֶץ הַהִ֖וא [2] Tip'cha יָצָ֣א אַשּׁ֑וּר [1] Etnachta אֶת־נִ֣ינְוֵ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְאֶת־כָּֽלַח׃ [1] Silluq |
11 Out of that land [2] he went into Assyria; [1] Nineveh, [2] and Calah, [1] |

| 12 וְֽאֶת־רֶ֔סֶן [2] Zaqef בֵּ֥ין נִֽינְוֵ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וּבֵ֣ין כָּ֑לַח [1] Etnachta הָעִ֥יר הַגְּדֹלָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
12 and Resen, [2] between Nineveh [2] and Calah; [1] great city. [1] |

| 13 וּמִצְרַ֡יִם [4] Pazer יָלַ֞ד [4] Gershayim אֶת־לוּדִ֧ים וְאֶת־עֲנָמִ֛ים [3] Tevir וְאֶת־לְהָבִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha |
13 And Mizraim, [4] to him was born [4] the Ludim and the Anamim, [3] and the Lehabim, [2] |

14 and the Pathrusim [4] and the Casluhim, [3] the Philistines, [2] § |

15 And Canaan, [3] to him was born [3] Sidon his firstborn, [2] and Heth, [1] |

16 and the Jebusites [3] and the Amorites, [2] the Girgashites, [1] |

17 and the Hivites and the Arkites [2] and the Sinites, [1] |

| 18 וְאֶת־הָֽאַרְוָדִ֥י וְאֶת־הַצְּמָרִ֖י [2] Tip'cha וְאֶת־הַֽחֲמָתִ֑י [1] Etnachta מִשְׁפְּח֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha הַֽכְּנַעֲנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
18 and the Arvadites and the Zemarites [2] and the Hamathites; [1] the families [2] of the Canaanites. [1] |

| 19 וַֽיְהִ֞י [4] Gershayim גְּב֤וּל הַֽכְּנַעֲנִי֙ [3] Pashta מִצִּידֹ֔ן [2] Zaqef עַד־עַזָּ֑ה [1] Etnachta סְדֹ֧מָה וַעֲמֹרָ֛ה [3] Tevir וְאַדְמָ֥ה וּצְבֹיִ֖ם [2] Tip'cha עַד־לָֽשַׁע׃ [1] Silluq |
19 And it was, [4] the border of the Canaanites, [3] from Sidon, [2] to Gaza; [1] toward Sodom and Gomorrah, [3] and Admah and Zeboiim, [2] to Lasha. [1] |

21 And to Shem children were born, [2] he also; [1] of all the sons of Eber, [2] of Japheth the elder. [1] |

| 24 וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁ֖ד [2] Tip'cha יָלַ֣ד אֶת־שָׁ֑לַח [1] Etnachta יָלַ֥ד אֶת־עֵֽבֶר׃ [1] Silluq |
24 And Arpachshad, [2] to him was born Shelah; [1] to him was born Eber. [1] |

| 25 וּלְעֵ֥בֶר יֻלַּ֖ד [2] Tip'cha שְׁנֵ֣י בָנִ֑ים [1] Etnachta פֶּ֗לֶג [3] Revi'i נִפְלְגָ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef יׇקְטָֽן׃ [1] Silluq |
25 And to Eber were born [2] two sons; [1] Peleg, [3] the earth was divided, [2] Joktan. [1] |

26 And to Joktan was born, [2] Almodad [2] and Sheleph; [1] and Jerah, [1] |

28 and Obal and Abimael [2] and Sheba, [1] |

| 29 וְאֶת־אוֹפִ֥ר וְאֶת־חֲוִילָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וְאֶת־יוֹבָ֑ב [1] Etnachta בְּנֵ֥י יׇקְטָֽן׃ [1] Silluq |
29 and Ophir and Havilah [2] and Jobab; [1] were the sons of Joktan. [1] |

| 30 וַֽיְהִ֥י מוֹשָׁבָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha מִמֵּשָׁ֑א [1] Etnachta הַ֥ר הַקֶּֽדֶם׃ [1] Silluq |
30 And their dwelling place was [2] from Mesha; [1] the hill country of the east. [1] |
