	¹וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶל־אַבְרָ֔ם [2] Zaqef לֶךְ־לְךָ֛ [3] Tevir מֵאַרְצְךָ֥ וּמִמּֽוֹלַדְתְּךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha וּמִבֵּ֣ית אָבִ֑יךָ [1] Munach Etnachta אֶל־הָאָ֖רֶץ [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַרְאֶֽךָּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹Now the LORD said [3] to Abram, [2] “Go you [3] from your country and from your relatives, [2] and from your father’s house; [1] to the land [2] that I will show you. [1]
	²וְאֶֽעֶשְׂךָ֙ [3] Pashta לְג֣וֹי גָּד֔וֹל [2] Munach Zaqef וַאֲבָ֣רֶכְךָ֔ [2] Munach Zaqef וַאֲגַדְּלָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha שְׁמֶ֑ךָ [1] Etnachta וֶהְיֵ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בְּרָכָֽה׃ [1] Silluq		²And I will make you [3] into a great nation, [2] and I will bless you, [2] and I will make great [2] your name; [1] and [you] will be [2] a blessing. [1]
	³וַאֲבָֽרְכָה֙ [3] Pashta מְבָ֣רְכֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef וּמְקַלֶּלְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha אָאֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta וְנִבְרְכ֣וּ בְךָ֔ [2] Munach Zaqef כֹּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		³And I will bless [3] [those who] bless you, [2] and [one who] treats you with contempt [2] I will curse; [1] and they will be blessed by you, [2] all [2] the families of the earth.” [1]
	⁴וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ אַבְרָ֗ם [3] Munach Revi'a כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֤ר אֵלָיו֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ אִתּ֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha ל֑וֹט [1] Etnachta וְאַבְרָ֗ם [3] Revi'a בֶּן־חָמֵ֤שׁ שָׁנִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וְשִׁבְעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef בְּצֵאת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha מֵחָרָֽן׃ [1] Silluq		⁴So Abram went, [3] just as he had said to him, [3] the LORD, [2] and he went with him, [2] Lot; [1] and Abram [3] was a son of five years [3] and seventy years, [2] when he departed [2] from Haran. [1]
	⁵וַיִּקַּ֣ח אַבְרָם֩ אֶת־שָׂרַ֨י אִשְׁתּ֜וֹ [4] Munach TelishaQ Qadma Geresh וְאֶת־ל֣וֹט בֶּן־אָחִ֗יו [3] Munach Revi'a וְאֶת־כׇּל־רְכוּשָׁם֙ [3] Pashta אֲשֶׁ֣ר רָכָ֔שׁוּ [2] Munach Zaqef וְאֶת־הַנֶּ֖פֶשׁ [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁר־עָשׂ֣וּ בְחָרָ֑ן [1] Munach Etnachta וַיֵּצְא֗וּ [3] Revi'a לָלֶ֙כֶת֙ [3] Pashta אַ֣רְצָה כְּנַ֔עַן [2] Munach Zaqef וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ [2] Tip'cha אַ֥רְצָה כְּנָֽעַן׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁵And Abram took Sarai his wife [4] and Lot the son of his brother, [3] and all their possessions [3] which they had accumulated, [2] and the people [2] whom they had acquired in Haran; [1] and they went out [3] to go [3] to the land of Canaan, [2] and they came [2] to the land of Canaan. [1]
	⁶וַיַּעֲבֹ֤ר אַבְרָם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta בָּאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef עַ֚ד [3] Yetiv מְק֣וֹם שְׁכֶ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef עַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha אֵל֣וֹן מוֹרֶ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta וְהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י [2] Tip'cha אָ֥ז בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁶And Abram passed [3] through the land, [2] to [3] the place of Shechem, [2] to [2] the great tree of Moreh; [1] and the Canaanites [2] then were in the land. [1]
	⁷וַיֵּרָ֤א יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶל־אַבְרָ֔ם [2] Zaqef וַיֹּ֕אמֶר [2] ZaqefG לְזַ֨רְעֲךָ֔ [2] Qadma Zaqef אֶתֵּ֖ן [2] Tip'cha אֶת־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את [1] Munach Etnachta וַיִּ֤בֶן שָׁם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta מִזְבֵּ֔חַ [2] Zaqef לַיהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha הַנִּרְאֶ֥ה אֵלָֽיו׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁷And the LORD appeared [3] to Abram, [2] and he said, [2] “To your offspring [2] I will give [2] this land.” [1] And he built there [3] an altar, [2] to the LORD [2] who had appeared to him. [1]
	⁸וַיַּעְתֵּ֨ק מִשָּׁ֜ם [4] Qadma Geresh הָהָ֗רָה [3] Revi'a מִקֶּ֛דֶם [3] Tevir לְבֵֽית־אֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha וַיֵּ֣ט אׇהֳלֹ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta בֵּֽית־אֵ֤ל מִיָּם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וְהָעַ֣י מִקֶּ֔דֶם [2] Munach Zaqef וַיִּֽבֶן־שָׁ֤ם מִזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וַיִּקְרָ֖א [2] Tip'cha בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁸And he moved on from there [4] to the hill country [3] east [3] of Bethel, [2] and he pitched his tent; [1] with Bethel on the west [3] and Ai on the east, [2] and there he built an altar [3] to the LORD, [2] and he called [2] on the name of the LORD. [1]
	⁹וַיִּסַּ֣ע אַבְרָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef הָל֥וֹךְ וְנָס֖וֹעַ [2] Merkha Tip'cha הַנֶּֽגְבָּה׃ [1] Silluq פ		⁹And Abram traveled, [2] continuing to travel [2] to the South. [1] ¶
	¹⁰וַיְהִ֥י רָעָ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha בָּאָ֑רֶץ [1] Etnachta וַיֵּ֨רֶד אַבְרָ֤ם מִצְרַ֙יְמָה֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta לָג֣וּר שָׁ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef כִּֽי־כָבֵ֥ד הָרָעָ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁰And there was a famine [2] in the land; [1] and Abram went down to Egypt [3] to live as a foreigner there, [2] for the famine was severe [2] in the land. [1]
	¹¹וַיְהִ֕י [2] ZaqefG כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הִקְרִ֖יב [2] Merkha Tip'cha לָב֣וֹא מִצְרָ֑יְמָה [1] Munach Etnachta וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ [3] Pashta אֶל־שָׂרַ֣י אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef הִנֵּה־נָ֣א יָדַ֔עְתִּי [2] Munach Zaqef כִּ֛י [3] Tevir אִשָּׁ֥ה יְפַת־מַרְאֶ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha אָֽתְּ׃ [1] Silluq		¹¹And it was, [2] when he had come near [2] to enter Egypt; [1] he said [3] to Sarai his wife, [2] “See now I know, [2] that [3] a woman beautiful to look at, [2] you are. [1]
	¹²וְהָיָ֗ה [3] Revi'a כִּֽי־יִרְא֤וּ אֹתָךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta הַמִּצְרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef וְאָמְר֖וּ [2] Tip'cha אִשְׁתּ֣וֹ זֹ֑את [1] Munach Etnachta וְהָרְג֥וּ אֹתִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְאֹתָ֥ךְ יְחַיּֽוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹²And it will be, [3] that they will see you [3] the Egyptians, [2] and they will say, [2] ‘This is his wife,’ [1] and they will kill me, [2] and you they will let live. [1]
	¹³אִמְרִי־נָ֖א [2] Tip'cha אֲחֹ֣תִי אָ֑תְּ [1] Munach Etnachta לְמַ֙עַן֙ [3] Pashta יִֽיטַב־לִ֣י בַעֲבוּרֵ֔ךְ [2] Munach Zaqef וְחָיְתָ֥ה נַפְשִׁ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha בִּגְלָלֵֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq		¹³Please say [2] you are my sister; [1] so that [3] it may go well for me because of you, [2] and my soul may live [2] on account of you.” [1]
	¹⁴וַיְהִ֕י [2] ZaqefG כְּב֥וֹא אַבְרָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha מִצְרָ֑יְמָה [1] Etnachta וַיִּרְא֤וּ הַמִּצְרִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶת־הָ֣אִשָּׁ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef כִּֽי־יָפָ֥ה הִ֖וא [2] Merkha Tip'cha מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁴And it was, [2] when Abram entered [2] Egypt; [1] and the Egyptians saw [3] the woman, [2] that she was beautiful [2] very, [1]
	¹⁵וַיִּרְא֤וּ אֹתָהּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta שָׂרֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וַיְהַֽלְל֥וּ אֹתָ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֑ה [1] Etnachta וַתֻּקַּ֥ח הָאִשָּׁ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha בֵּ֥ית פַּרְעֹֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁵and they saw her, [3] the officials of Pharaoh, [2] and they praised her [2] to Pharaoh; [1] and the woman was taken into [2] the house of Pharaoh. [1]
	¹⁶וּלְאַבְרָ֥ם הֵיטִ֖יב [2] Merkha Tip'cha בַּעֲבוּרָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta וַֽיְהִי־ל֤וֹ צֹאן־וּבָקָר֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וַחֲמֹרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef וַעֲבָדִים֙ [3] Pashta וּשְׁפָחֹ֔ת [2] Zaqef וַאֲתֹנֹ֖ת [2] Tip'cha וּגְמַלִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁶And with Abram he dealt well [2] because of her; [1] and he had sheep and cattle [3] and male donkeys, [2] and male servants [3] and female servants, [2] and female donkeys [2] and camels. [1]
	¹⁷וַיְנַגַּ֨ע יְהֹוָ֧ה ׀ אֶת־פַּרְעֹ֛ה [3] Qadma Darga Tevir נְגָעִ֥ים גְּדֹלִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְאֶת־בֵּית֑וֹ [1] Etnachta עַל־דְּבַ֥ר שָׂרַ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֵ֥שֶׁת אַבְרָֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁷And the LORD afflicted Pharaoh [3] with great plagues, [2] and his house; [1] because of Sarai [2] Abram’s wife. [1]
	¹⁸וַיִּקְרָ֤א פַרְעֹה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לְאַבְרָ֔ם [2] Zaqef וַיֹּ֕אמֶר [2] ZaqefG מַה־זֹּ֖את [2] Tip'cha עָשִׂ֣יתָ לִּ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta לָ֚מָּה [3] Yetiv לֹא־הִגַּ֣דְתָּ לִּ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef כִּ֥י אִשְׁתְּךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha הִֽוא׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁸And Pharaoh called [3] Abram, [2] and he said, [2] “What is this [2] you have done to me? [1] Why [3] didn’t you tell me [2] that your wife [2] she was? [1]
	¹⁹לָמָ֤ה אָמַ֙רְתָּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֲחֹ֣תִי הִ֔וא [2] Munach Zaqef וָאֶקַּ֥ח אֹתָ֛הּ [3] Merkha Tevir לִ֖י [2] Tip'cha לְאִשָּׁ֑ה [1] Etnachta וְעַתָּ֕ה [2] ZaqefG הִנֵּ֥ה אִשְׁתְּךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha קַ֥ח וָלֵֽךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁹Why did you say, [3] ‘She is my sister,’ [2] and I took her [3] for myself [2] as a wife? [1] Now therefore, [2] here is your wife, [2] take her and go.” [1]
	²⁰וַיְצַ֥ו עָלָ֛יו [3] Merkha Tevir פַּרְעֹ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֲנָשִׁ֑ים [1] Etnachta וַֽיְשַׁלְּח֥וּ אֹת֛וֹ [3] Merkha Tevir וְאֶת־אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha וְאֶת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁר־לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		²⁰And he commanded concerning him, [3] Pharaoh, [2] men; [1] and they escorted him away [3] and his wife, [2] and all that he had. [1]
