| 1 וַיַּ֩עַל֩ אַבְרָ֨ם מִמִּצְרַ֜יִם [4] Geresh ה֠וּא [4] TelishaG וְאִשְׁתּ֧וֹ וְכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־ל֛וֹ [3] Tevir וְל֥וֹט עִמּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha |
1 And Abram went up from Egypt, [4] he [4] and his wife and all that he had, [3] and Lot with him, [2] |

| 2 וְאַבְרָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha כָּבֵ֣ד מְאֹ֑ד [1] Etnachta בַּכֶּ֖סֶף [2] Tip'cha וּבַזָּהָֽב׃ [1] Silluq |
2 And Abram [2] was very wealthy; [1] in silver [2] and in gold. [1] |

| 3 וַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta לְמַסָּעָ֔יו [2] Zaqef וְעַד־בֵּֽית־אֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁר־הָ֨יָה שָׁ֤ם אׇֽהֳלֹה֙ [3] Pashta בַּתְּחִלָּ֔ה [2] Zaqef וּבֵ֥ין הָעָֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
3 And he went [3 3] on his journey [2] up to Bethel; [1] where his tent had been [3] at the beginning, [2] and Ai, [1] |

| 4 אֶל־מְקוֹם֙ [3] Pashta הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ [2] Zaqef בָּרִאשֹׁנָ֑ה [1] Etnachta אַבְרָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
4 to the place [3] of the altar, [2] at the first; [1] Abram, [2] on the name of LORD. [1] |

| 5 וְגַ֨ם־לְל֔וֹט [2] Zaqef הַהֹלֵ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha אֶת־אַבְרָ֑ם [1] Etnachta וְאֹהָלִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
5 And also Lot, [2] who was traveling [2] with Abram; [1] and tents. [1] |

| 6 וְלֹא־נָשָׂ֥א אֹתָ֛ם [3] Tevir הָאָ֖רֶץ [2] Tip'cha לָשֶׁ֣בֶת יַחְדָּ֑ו [1] Etnachta רָ֔ב [2] Zaqef לָשֶׁ֥בֶת יַחְדָּֽו׃ [1] Silluq |
6 And it was not able to support them [3] the land, [2] to live together; [1] great, [2] to live together. [1] |

| 7 וַֽיְהִי־רִ֗יב [3] Revi'i בֵּ֚ין [3] Yetiv רֹעֵ֣י מִקְנֵֽה־אַבְרָ֔ם [2] Zaqef רֹעֵ֣י מִקְנֵה־ל֑וֹט [1] Etnachta וְהַפְּרִזִּ֔י [2] Zaqef יֹשֵׁ֥ב בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
7 And there was quarreling [3] between [3] the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock, [2] the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock; [1] and the Perizzites [2] were living in the land. [1] |

| 8 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אַבְרָ֜ם [4] Geresh אֶל־ל֗וֹט [3] Revi'i בֵּינִ֣י וּבֵינֶ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef וּבֵ֣ין רֹעֶ֑יךָ [1] Etnachta אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
8 And Abram said [4] to Lot, [3] between me and you, [2] and your herdsmen; [1] we. [1] |

| 9 הֲלֹ֤א כׇל־הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ [3 3] Pashta לְפָנֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef מֵעָלָ֑י [1] Etnachta וְאִם־הַיָּמִ֖ין [2] Tip'cha וְאַשְׂמְאִֽילָה׃ [1] Silluq |
9 Is not all the land [3 3] before you? [2] from me; [1] and if [you go to] the right [2] then I will go to the left.” [1] |

| 10 וַיִּשָּׂא־ל֣וֹט אֶת־עֵינָ֗יו [3] Revi'i וַיַּרְא֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־כׇּל־כִּכַּ֣ר הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן [2] Zaqef מַשְׁקֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta שַׁחֵ֣ת יְהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i וְאֶת־עֲמֹרָ֔ה [2] Zaqef כְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef צֹֽעַר׃ [1] Silluq |
10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, [3] and he saw [3] all the plain of the Jordan, [2] was well-watered; [1] the LORD destroyed [3] and Gomorrah, [2] like the land of Egypt, [2] Zoar. [1] |

| 11 וַיִּבְחַר־ל֣וֹ ל֗וֹט [3] Revi'i אֵ֚ת [3] Yetiv כׇּל־כִּכַּ֣ר הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן [2] Zaqef מִקֶּ֑דֶם [1] Etnachta אִ֖ישׁ [2] Tip'cha מֵעַ֥ל אָחִֽיו׃ [1] Silluq |
11 And Lot chose for himself [3] the [3] whole plain of the Jordan, [2] toward the east; [1] each [2] from his brother. [1] |

| 12 אַבְרָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha יָשַׁ֣ב בְּאֶֽרֶץ־כְּנָ֑עַן [1] Etnachta יָשַׁב֙ [3] Pashta בְּעָרֵ֣י הַכִּכָּ֔ר [2] Zaqef עַד־סְדֹֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
12 Abram, [2] he lived in the land of Canaan; [1] he lived [3] in the cities of the plain, [2] to Sodom. [1] |

| 13 וְאַנְשֵׁ֣י סְדֹ֔ם [2] Zaqef רָעִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha וְחַטָּאִ֑ים [1] Etnachta מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq |
13 Now the people of Sodom [2] were wicked [2] and sinful; [1] exceedingly. [1] |

| 14 וַֽיהֹוָ֞ה [4] Gershayim אָמַ֣ר אֶל־אַבְרָ֗ם [3] Revi'i הִפָּֽרֶד־ל֣וֹט מֵֽעִמּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef וּרְאֵ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֣ה שָׁ֑ם [1] Etnachta וָקֵ֥דְמָה וָיָֽמָּה׃ [1] Silluq |
14 And the LORD, [4] he said to Abram, [3] Lot separated from him, [2] and look, [2] where you are; [1] and eastward and westward, [1] |

| 15 כִּ֧י אֶת־כׇּל־הָאָ֛רֶץ [3] Tevir אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֥ה רֹאֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לְךָ֣ אֶתְּנֶ֑נָּה [1] Etnachta עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
15 for all the land [3] which you see, [2] to you I will give it; [1] forever. [1] |

| 16 וְשַׂמְתִּ֥י אֶֽת־זַרְעֲךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha כַּעֲפַ֣ר הָאָ֑רֶץ [1] Etnachta אִם־יוּכַ֣ל אִ֗ישׁ [3] Revi'i אֶת־עֲפַ֣ר הָאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef יִמָּנֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
16 And I will make your offspring [2] like the dust of the earth; [1] if anyone is able [3] the dust of the earth, [2] may be counted. [1] |

| 17 ק֚וּם [3] Yetiv הִתְהַלֵּ֣ךְ בָּאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef וּלְרׇחְבָּ֑הּ [1] Etnachta אֶתְּנֶֽנָּה׃ [1] Silluq |
17 Arise, [3] walk through the land, [2] and to its breadth; [1] I will give it.” [1] |

18 And Abram moved his tent, [3] and he came [3] and he lived [3] by the great trees of Mamre, [2] to the LORD. [1] ¶ |
