19 And he commanded [4] also the second, [3] the third, [2] all that followed [2] saying; [1] you shall speak to Esau [2] him, [1] |

22 And he rose up [4] that night, [3] his two wives, [3] and his two servants, [2] his sons; [1] the [2] ford of Jabbok. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
23 And he took them, [2] and he sent them over [2] the stream; [1] that which he had. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
24 And Jacob remained, [2] he alone; [1] with him [2] the breaking of the day. [1] |
25 And when he saw [3] that he didn’t prevail [3] against him, [2] the hollow of his thigh; [1] the hollow of Jacob’s thigh [2] with him. [1] |
26 And he said, “Let me go, [2] for it is breaking, [2] the dawn.” [1] “I won’t let you go [2] you bless me.” [1] |
[1] Silluq |
27 And he said to him, [2] “What is your name?” [1] “Jacob”. [1] |
28 And he said, [3] “Not Jacob [3] anymore will be [3] your name, [2] Israel; [1] and with men, [2] and you have prevailed.” [1] |
29 And Jacob asked, [3] and he said, [3 3] “Please tell me your name.” [2] “Why is it that [2] you ask my name?” [1] there. [1] |
30 And Jacob called [3] the name of the place [2] Peniel; [1] face to face, [2] my life.” [1] |
31 And the sun rose on him [2] as he passed over [2] Peniel; [1] on his thigh. [1] |
32 Therefore [4] the children of Israel don’t eat [4] the sinew of the hip [3] is on the hollow of the thigh [2] this day; [1] the hollow of Jacob’s thigh [2] of the hip. [1] |
