1 And Israel set out [3] with all that he had, [2] to Beersheba; [1] to the God [2] of his father, Isaac. [1] |

2 And God spoke to Israel [3] in the visions of the night, [2] “Jacob, Jacob!” [1] “Here I am.” [1] |

3 And he said, [2] “I am God, [2] the God of your father. [1] to go down to Egypt, [2] I will make you there. [1] |

4 I, [3] I will go down with you [3] to Egypt, [2] I will also surely bring you up; [1] he will put his hand [2] over your eyes.” [1] |

5 And Jacob rose up [2] from Beersheba; [1] Jacob their father [3] and their wives, [2] which Pharaoh had sent [2] to carry him. [1] |

6 And they took their livestock, [3] and their possessions [3] which they had accumulated [3] in the land of Canaan, [2] to Egypt; [1] and all his offspring with him, [1] |

8 And these are the names of the sons of Israel [3] who went to Egypt, [2] Jacob and his sons: [1] Reuben. [1] |

10 And the sons of Simeon, [3] Jemuel and Jamin [3] and Ohad, [2] and Jachin and Zohar; [1] the son of a Canaanite woman. [1] |

12 And the sons of Judah, [3] Er and Onan [3] and Shelah, [2] and Perez and Zerah; [1] in the land of Canaan, [2] Hezron and Hamul. [1] |

15 These [4] were the sons of Leah [3] in Paddan Aram, [2] Dinah his daughter. [1] and his daughters [2] were thirty and three. [1] |

17 And the sons of Asher, [3] Imnah and Ishvah [3] and Ishvi and Beriah, [2] and Serah their sister; [1] Heber [2] and Malchiel. [1] |

20 And were born to Joseph [3] in the land of Egypt, [2 2] Asenath [2] priest of On; [1] and Ephraim. [1] |

29 And Joseph harnessed [3] his chariot, [2] to meet Israel his father [2] in Goshen; [1] and he fell [3] on his neck, [2] a good while. [1] |

31 And Joseph said to his brothers [3] and to the household of his father, [2] and I will speak with Pharaoh; [1] who were in the land of Canaan, [2] they have come to me. [1] |
