וְנִגְלָ֞ה [4] Gershayim
עֲוֺ֤ן אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ [3 3] Pashta
וְרָע֣וֹת שֹׁמְר֔וֹן [2] Zaqef

כִּ֥י פָעֲל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
שָׁ֑קֶר [1] Etnachta

וְגַנָּ֣ב יָב֔וֹא [2] Zaqef
פָּשַׁ֥ט גְּד֖וּד [2] Tip'cha
בַּחֽוּץ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 4 2 2 2 1 Just as I heal Israel, [3]

then it is revealed, [4]
the iniquity of Ephraim [3 3]
and the evil deeds of Samaria, [2]

for they commit [2]
falsehood; [1]

and a thief comes, [2]
a gang of robbers attacks [2]
in the street. [1]
2 וּבַל־יֹֽאמְרוּ֙ [3] Pashta
לִלְבָבָ֔ם [2] Zaqef

כׇּל־רָעָתָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha

1 2 3 2 2 3 2 2 And they don’t consider [3]
in their hearts, [2]

that all their wickedness, [2]
I remember; [1]

now [3]
their own deeds have surrounded them. [2]

Before my face [2]
they are. [1]
3 בְּרָעָתָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
יְשַׂמְּחוּ־מֶ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta

וּבְכַחֲשֵׁיהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
שָׂרִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 By their evil [2]
they make glad the king; [1]

and by their lies, [2]
princes. [1]
4 כֻּלָּם֙ [3] Pashta

יִשְׁבּ֣וֹת מֵעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef
מִלּ֥וּשׁ בָּצֵ֖ק [2] Tip'cha
עַד־חֻמְצָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 2 4 All of them [3]
are adulterers, [2]

like an oven, [2]
burning [2]
from a baker; [1]

who stops stirring up, [2]
from kneading the dough [2]
until it is leavened. [1]
5 י֣וֹם מַלְכֵּ֔נוּ [2] Zaqef
הֶחֱל֥וּ שָׂרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha

אֶת־לֹצְצִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 5 The day of our king, [2]
the princes became sick [2]
with fever from wine; [1]

he joined his hand [2]
with mockers. [1]
6 כִּֽי־קֵרְב֧וּ כַתַּנּ֛וּר [3] Tevir

בֹּ֕קֶר [2] ZaqefG
ה֥וּא בֹעֵ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
כְּאֵ֥שׁ לֶהָבָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 6 For they have prepared like an oven [3]
their heart, [2]
while they lie in wait; [1]

all the night [3 3]
their baker is sleeping, [2]

in the morning, [2]
it's burning [2]
like a flaming fire. [1]
7 כֻּלָּ֤ם יֵחַ֙מּוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta

אֵין־קֹרֵ֥א בָהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
אֵלָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 7 All of them are hot [3 3]
like an oven, [2]

and they devour [2]
their rulers. [1]

All their kings have fallen. [2]
There is no one among them who calls [2]
to me. [1]

1 2 2 2 3 8 Ephraim, [2]
among the nations [2]
he, he mixes himself; [1]

Ephraim, [3]
he has become a pancake [2]
not turned over. [1]
9 אָכְל֤וּ זָרִים֙ [3] Pashta

and grey hair, [3]
it has sneaked in on him, [2]

and he, [2]
he knows not. [1]

1 2 2 3 2 10 And the pride of Israel testifies [2]
in its face; [1]

yet they have not returned [3 3]
to the LORD their God, [2]

and they have not sought him [2]
for all this. [1]
11 וַיְהִ֣י אֶפְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef

1 2 3 3 2 2 2 12 When they go, [3]
I will spread over them [3]
my net, [2]

like the birds of the heavens [2]
I will bring them down; [1]

I will chasten them, [2]
as in the report [2]
that comes to their assembly. [1]

Devastation is theirs, [2]
for they have trespassed against me. [1]

Though I, I would redeem them, [2]
yet they, [2]
they have spoken against me [2]
lies. [1]
14 וְלֹא־זָעֲק֤וּ אֵלַי֙ [3] Pashta

1 2 3 2 2 3 14 And they haven’t cried out to me [3]
with their heart, [2]

but they wail [2]
on their beds. [1]

On grain and new wine [3]
they assemble themselves. [2]
They turn away against me. [1]

their arms; [1]

yet against me [2]
they plot evil. [1]

1 2 3 4 3 2 3 2 16 They turn, [4]
but not to the Most High. [3]

They have become [3]
like a slack bow. [2]

They will fall by the sword, [3]
their leaders, [2]
from the rage of their tongue. [1]

This will be their mockery [2]
in the land of Egypt. [1]
