1 Alas, O land [2] of whirring of wings; [1] of the rivers of Cush, [1] |

2 הַשֹּׁלֵ֨חַ בַּיָּ֜ם [4] Geresh צִירִ֗ים [3] Revi'i עַל־פְּנֵי־מַ֒יִם֒ [2 2] Segol מַלְאָכִ֣ים קַלִּ֗ים [3] Revi'i מְמֻשָּׁ֣ךְ וּמוֹרָ֔ט [2] Zaqef מִן־ה֣וּא וָהָ֑לְאָה [1] Etnachta קַו־קָ֣ו וּמְבוּסָ֔ה [2] Zaqef אַרְצֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
2 which sends on the sea [4] ambassadors, [3] on the surface of the waters; [2 2] O swift messengers, [3] tall and smooth skinned, [2] from their beginning onward; [1] mighty and conquering, [2] its land. [1] |

3 כׇּל־יֹשְׁבֵ֥י תֵבֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha וְשֹׁ֣כְנֵי אָ֑רֶץ [1] Etnachta תִּרְא֔וּ [2] Zaqef תִּשְׁמָֽעוּ׃ [1] Silluq ס |
3 O all inhabitants of the world [2] and dwellers on the earth; [1] you will see it, [2] you will hear it. [1] § |

4 כִּי֩ כֹ֨ה אָמַ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta אֵלַ֔י [2] Zaqef וְאַבִּ֣יטָה בִמְכוֹנִ֑י [1] Etnachta עֲלֵי־א֔וֹר [2] Zaqef בְּחֹ֥ם קָצִֽיר׃ [1] Silluq |
4 For the LORD said [3] to me, [2] and I will watch in my dwelling place; [1] with light, [2] in the heat of harvest.” [1] |

5 כִּֽי־לִפְנֵ֤י קָצִיר֙ [3] Pashta כְּתׇם־פֶּ֔רַח [2] Zaqef יִֽהְיֶ֣ה נִצָּ֑הֿ [1] Etnachta בַּמַּזְמֵר֔וֹת [2] Zaqef הֵסִ֥יר הֵתַֽז׃ [1] Silluq |
5 For before harvest, [3] when the bud is finished, [2] the blossom becomes; [1] with pruning knives, [2] he will remove; he will cut away. [1] |

6 יֵעָזְב֤וּ יַחְדָּו֙ [3] Pashta לְעֵ֣יט הָרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef הָאָ֑רֶץ [1] Etnachta הָעַ֔יִט [2] Zaqef עָלָ֥יו תֶּחֱרָֽף׃ [1] Silluq ס |
6 They will be abandoned together [3] to birds of prey of the mountains, [2] of the earth; [1] the birds of prey, [2] they will pass the winter on them. [1] § |
