1 וְעַתָּ֥ה שְׁמַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
יַֽעֲקֹ֣ב עַבְדִּ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
בָּחַ֥רְתִּי בֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 1 Yet listen now, Jacob my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen. [2]
2 כֹּה־אָמַ֨ר יְהֹוָ֥ה עֹשֶׂ֛ךָ [3] Tevir
וְיֹצֶרְךָ֥ מִבֶּ֖טֶן [2] Tip'cha
יַעְזְרֶ֑ךָּ [1] Etnachta
 
אַל־תִּירָא֙ [3] Pashta
עַבְדִּ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב [2] Zaqef
 
וִישֻׁר֖וּן [2] Tip'cha
בָּחַ֥רְתִּי בֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 This is what the LORD who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you says: “Don’t be afraid, Jacob my servant; and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. [3]
3 כִּ֤י אֶצׇּק־מַ֙יִם֙ [3 3] Pashta
עַל־צָמֵ֔א [2] Zaqef
 
וְנֹזְלִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
עַל־יַבָּשָׁ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
אֶצֹּ֤ק רוּחִי֙ [3] Pashta
עַל־זַרְעֶ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef
 
וּבִרְכָתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
עַל־צֶאֱצָאֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your offspring: [3 3]
4 וְצָמְח֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
בְּבֵ֣ין חָצִ֑יר [1] Etnachta
 
כַּעֲרָבִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
עַל־יִבְלֵי־מָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 4 and they will spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses. [2]

לַיהֹוָ֣ה אָ֔נִי [2] Zaqef

יִקְרָ֣א בְשֵֽׁם־יַעֲקֹ֑ב [1] Etnachta

יִכְתֹּ֤ב יָדוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וּבְשֵׁ֥ם יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
יְכַנֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 2 2 3 3 2 5 One will say, ‘I am the LORD’s;’ and another will be called by the name of Jacob; and another will write with his hand ‘to the LORD,’ and honor the name of Israel.” [3]
6 כֹּה־אָמַ֨ר יְהֹוָ֧ה מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל [3] Tevir
וְגֹאֲל֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת [1] Etnachta
 
אֲנִ֤י רִאשׁוֹן֙ [3] Pashta
וַאֲנִ֣י אַחֲר֔וֹן [2] Zaqef
 
וּמִבַּלְעָדַ֖י [2] Tip'cha
אֵ֥ין אֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 6 This is what the LORD, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the LORD of Hosts, says: “I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God. [3]
7 וּמִי־כָמ֣וֹנִי יִקְרָ֗א [3] Revi'i
וְיַגִּידֶ֤הָ וְיַעְרְכֶ֙הָ֙ [3 3] Pashta

מִשּׂוּמִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
עַם־עוֹלָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֹתִיּ֛וֹת [3] Tevir
וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר תָּבֹ֖אנָה [2] Tip'cha
יַגִּ֥ידוּ לָֽמוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 3 7 Who is like me? Who will call, and will declare it, and set it in order for me, since I established the ancient people? Let them declare the things that are coming, and that will happen. [3]

הֲלֹ֥א מֵאָ֛ז [3] Tevir
הִשְׁמַעְתִּ֥יךָ וְהִגַּ֖דְתִּי [2] Tip'cha
וְאַתֶּ֣ם עֵדָ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
הֲיֵ֤שׁ אֱל֙וֹהַּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
מִבַּלְעָדַ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֵ֥ין צ֖וּר [2] Tip'cha
בַּל־יָדָֽעְתִּי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 3 2 8 Don’t fear, neither be afraid. Haven’t I declared it to you long ago, and shown it? You are my witnesses. Is there a God besides me? Indeed, there is not. I don’t know any other Rock.” [3]

וַחֲמוּדֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha

בַּל־יִרְא֛וּ [3] Tevir
וּבַל־יֵדְע֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
לְמַ֥עַן יֵבֹֽשׁוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 3 9 Everyone who makes a carved image is vain. The things that they delight in will not profit. Their own witnesses don’t see, nor know, that they may be disappointed. [3]

הוֹעִֽיל׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 10 Who has fashioned a god, or molds an image that is profitable for nothing? [2]
11 הֵ֤ן כׇּל־חֲבֵרָיו֙ [3] Pashta
יֵבֹ֔שׁוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וְחָרָשִׁ֥ים הֵ֖מָּה [2] Tip'cha
מֵאָדָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
יִֽתְקַבְּצ֤וּ כֻלָּם֙ [3] Pashta
יַעֲמֹ֔דוּ [2] Zaqef
 
יִפְחֲד֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
יֵבֹ֥שׁוּ יָֽחַד׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 11 Behold, all his fellows will be disappointed; and the workmen are mere men. Let them all be gathered together. Let them stand up. They will fear. They will be put to shame together. [3]

וְאֵ֣ין כֹּ֔חַ [2] Zaqef
 
לֹא־שָׁ֥תָה מַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
וַיִּיעָֽף׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 3 2 3 2 12 The blacksmith takes an ax, works in the coals, fashions it with hammers, and works it with his strong arm. He is hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water, and is faint. [3]

בַּמַּקְצֻע֔וֹת [2] Zaqef
 
וּבַמְּחוּגָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
יְתׇאֳרֵ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וַֽיַּעֲשֵׂ֙הוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
כְּתַבְנִ֣ית אִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef
 
כְּתִפְאֶ֥רֶת אָדָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
לָשֶׁ֥בֶת בָּֽיִת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 2 3 2 13 The carpenter stretches out a line. He marks it out with a pencil. He shapes it with planes. He marks it out with compasses, and shapes it like the figure of a man, with the beauty of a man, to reside in a house. [3]
14 לִכְרׇת־ל֣וֹ אֲרָזִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּקַּ֤ח תִּרְזָה֙ [3] Pashta
וְאַלּ֔וֹן [2] Zaqef
 
וַיְאַמֶּץ־ל֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
בַּעֲצֵי־יָ֑עַר [1] Etnachta
 
נָטַ֥ע אֹ֖רֶן [2] Tip'cha
וְגֶ֥שֶׁם יְגַדֵּֽל׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 2 14 He cuts down cedars for himself, and takes the cypress and the oak, and strengthens for himself one among the trees of the forest. He plants a cypress tree, and the rain nourishes it. [2]
 
15 וְהָיָ֤ה לְאָדָם֙ [3] Pashta
לְבָעֵ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֵהֶם֙ [3] Pashta
וַיָּ֔חׇם [2] Zaqef
 
אַף־יַשִּׂ֖יק [2] Tip'cha
וְאָ֣פָה לָ֑חֶם [1] Etnachta
 
אַף־יִפְעַל־אֵל֙ [3] Pashta
וַיִּשְׁתָּ֔חוּ [2] Zaqef
 
עָשָׂ֥הוּ פֶ֖סֶל [2] Tip'cha
וַיִּסְגׇּד־לָֽמוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 3 2 15 Then it will be for a man to burn; and he takes some of it, and warms himself. Yes, he burns it, and bakes bread. Yes, he makes a god, and worships it; he makes it a carved image, and falls down to it. [3]

וְיִשְׂבָּ֑ע [1] Etnachta
 
אַף־יָחֹם֙ [3] Pashta
וְיֹאמַ֣ר הֶאָ֔ח [2] Zaqef
 
חַמּוֹתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
רָאִ֥יתִי אֽוּר׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 3 2 16 He burns part of it in the fire. With part of it, he eats meat. He roasts a roast, and is satisfied. Yes, he warms himself, and says, “Aha! I am warm. I have seen the fire.” [3]
17 וּשְׁאֵ֣רִית֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
לְאֵ֥ל עָשָׂ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לְפִסְל֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
*יסגוד **יִסְגׇּד־ל֤וֹ וְיִשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
וְיִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל אֵלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
וְיֹאמַר֙ [3] Pashta
הַצִּילֵ֔נִי [2] Zaqef
 
כִּ֥י אֵלִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
אָֽתָּה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 3 2 17 The rest of it he makes into a god, even his engraved image. He bows down to it and worships, and prays to it, and says, “Deliver me; for you are my god!” [2]

וְלֹ֣א יָבִ֑ינוּ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י טַ֤ח מֵֽרְאוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
עֵינֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
מֵהַשְׂכִּ֖יל [2] Tip'cha
לִבֹּתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 18 They don’t know, neither do they consider: for he has shut their eyes, that they can’t see; and their hearts, that they can’t understand. [2]
19 וְלֹֽא־יָשִׁ֣יב אֶל־לִבּ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i
וְלֹ֨א דַ֥עַת וְלֹא־תְבוּנָה֮ [3] Zarqa

I have roasted meat and eaten it. Shall I make the rest of it into an abomination? Shall I bow down to a tree trunk?” [3]

וְלֹא־יַצִּ֤יל אֶת־נַפְשׁוֹ֙ [3] Pashta

הֲל֥וֹא שֶׁ֖קֶר [2] Tip'cha
בִּימִינִֽי׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 2 3 2 20 He feeds on ashes. A deceived heart has turned him aside; and he can’t deliver his soul, nor say, “Isn’t there a lie in my right hand?” [2]

לֹ֥א תִנָּשֵֽׁנִי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 21 Remember these things, Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant. Israel, you will not be forgotten by me. [2]

1 2 3 2 2 3 25 who frustrates the signs of the liars, and makes diviners mad; who turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish; [3]

וְחׇרְבוֹתֶ֖יהָ [2] Tip'cha
אֲקוֹמֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 4 3 2 26 who confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; who says of Jerusalem, ‘She will be inhabited;’ and of the cities of Judah, ‘They will be built,’ and ‘I will raise up its waste places;’ [3]

1 2 2 27 who says to the deep, ‘Be dry,’ and ‘I will dry up your rivers;’ [2]

וְכׇל־חֶפְצִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
יַשְׁלִ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וְלֵאמֹ֤ר לִירוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ [3 3] Pashta
תִּבָּנֶ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְהֵיכָ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
תִּוָּסֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq
