וּשְׁבִ֣י עַל־עָפָ֗ר [3] Munach Revi'a
 
בְּתוּלַת֙ [3] Pashta
בַּת־בָּבֶ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
שְׁבִי־לָאָ֥רֶץ אֵין־כִּסֵּ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בַּת־כַּשְׂדִּ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י לֹ֤א תוֹסִ֙יפִי֙ [3] Munach Mapakh Pashta
יִקְרְאוּ־לָ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef
 
רַכָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וַעֲנֻגָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq

עִבְרִ֥י נְהָרֽוֹת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

Remove your veil, strip off the skirt, [3]
uncover the leg, [2]
pass through rivers. [1]

עַ֣ד לֹא־שַׂ֥מְתְּ אֵ֙לֶּה֙ [3] Munach Merkha Pashta
עַל־לִבֵּ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֥א זָכַ֖רְתְּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אַחֲרִיתָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq

I will be a queen.’ [1]
 
Since you did not lay these things [3]

you did not remember [2]

וְאַפְסִ֣י ע֑וֹד [1] Munach Etnachta
 
לֹ֤א אֵשֵׁב֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אַלְמָנָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְלֹ֥א אֵדַ֖ע [2] Merkha Tip'cha
שְׁכֽוֹל׃ [1] Silluq

9 וְתָבֹ֩אנָה֩ לָּ֨ךְ שְׁתֵּי־אֵ֥לֶּה רֶ֛גַע [3] TelishaQ Qadma Merkha Tevir
בְּי֥וֹם אֶחָ֖ד [2] Merkha Tip'cha
שְׁכ֣וֹל וְאַלְמֹ֑ן [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כְּתֻמָּם֙ [3] Pashta
בָּ֣אוּ עָלַ֔יִךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בְּרֹ֣ב כְּשָׁפַ֔יִךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
בְּעׇצְמַ֥ת חֲבָרַ֖יִךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 2 9 But both of these things will come to you in a moment [3]
in one day, [2]
the loss of children and widowhood; [1]
 
in full measure [3]
they will come upon you, [2]
 
in spite of your many sorceries, [2]
in the power of your spells [2]
very many. [1]

אֵ֣ין רֹאָ֔נִי [2] Munach Zaqef
 
חׇכְמָתֵ֥ךְ וְדַעְתֵּ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
הִ֣יא שׁוֹבְבָ֑תֶךְ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַתֹּאמְרִ֣י בְלִבֵּ֔ךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
אֲנִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
וְאַפְסִ֥י עֽוֹד׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

You said, [3]
‘No one sees me.’ [2]
 
Your wisdom and your knowledge, [2]
it, it led you astray; [1]
 
so you said in your heart, [2]
‘I [2]
and only I am.’ [1]
11 וּבָ֧א עָלַ֣יִךְ רָעָ֗ה [3] Darga Munach Revi'a
לֹ֤א תֵֽדְעִי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
שַׁחְרָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef
 
וְתִפֹּ֤ל עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
הֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֥א תוּכְלִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כַּפְּרָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְתָבֹ֨א עָלַ֧יִךְ פִּתְאֹ֛ם [3] Qadma Darga Tevir
שֹׁאָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א תֵדָֽעִי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

you won’t know [3]
how to charm it away, [2]
 
and it will fall on you, [3]
disaster. [2]
 
You won’t be able to [2]
cover it; [1]
 
and it will come on you suddenly, [3]
catastrophe [2]
which you cannot foresee. [1]
12 עִמְדִי־נָ֤א בַחֲבָרַ֙יִךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וּבְרֹ֣ב כְּשָׁפַ֔יִךְ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר יָגַ֖עַתְּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִנְּעוּרָ֑יִךְ [1] Etnachta
 
אוּלַ֛י [3] Tevir
תּוּכְלִ֥י הוֹעִ֖יל [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אוּלַ֥י תַּעֲרֽוֹצִי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

and your many sorceries, [2]
 
in which you have labored [2]
from your youth; [1]
 
perhaps [3]
you'll be able to profit, [2]
perhaps you will cause terror? [1]

יַעַמְדוּ־נָ֨א וְיוֹשִׁיעֻ֜ךְ [4] Qadma Geresh

בַּכּ֣וֹכָבִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef

מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר יָבֹ֖אוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עָלָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Silluq

of the abundance of your consultations; [1]
 
so let them stand up and deliver you - [4]
the astrologers, [3]
 
those who look [3]
on the stars, [2]
 
those who predict [3]
by new moons - [2]
 
from what will come [2]
upon you. [1]
14 הִנֵּ֨ה הָי֤וּ כְקַשׁ֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
אֵ֣שׁ שְׂרָפָ֔תַם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לֹא־יַצִּ֥ילוּ אֶת־נַפְשָׁ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִיַּ֣ד לֶהָבָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
אֵין־גַּחֶ֣לֶת לַחְמָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
א֖וּר [2] Tip'cha
לָשֶׁ֥בֶת נֶגְדּֽוֹ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

fire will consume them, [2]
 
they cannot deliver themselves [2]
from the power of the flame; [1]
 
it won’t be a coal to warm at [2]
or a fire [2]
to sit before! [1]

אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָגָ֑עַתְּ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
סֹחֲרַ֣יִךְ מִנְּעוּרַ֗יִךְ [3] Munach Revi'a
אִ֤ישׁ לְעֶבְרוֹ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
תָּע֔וּ [2] Zaqef
 
אֵ֖ין [2] Tip'cha
מוֹשִׁיעֵֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq

those with whom you have labored; [1]
 
who have trafficked with you from your youth, [3]
each in his own direction [3]
they will wander. [2]
 
There will not [2]
