1 שִׁמְע֤וּ אִיִּים֙ [3] Pashta
אֵלַ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
וְהַקְשִׁ֥יבוּ לְאֻמִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
מֵרָח֑וֹק [1] Etnachta
 
יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
מִבֶּ֣טֶן קְרָאָ֔נִי [2] Zaqef
 
מִמְּעֵ֥י אִמִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
הִזְכִּ֥יר שְׁמִֽי׃ [1] Silluq

to me, [2]
 
and pay attention O peoples [2]
from afar; [1]
 
the LORD, [3]
he has called me from the womb, [2]
 
from the inside of my mother [2]
he has named me. [1]
2 וַיָּ֤שֶׂם פִּי֙ [3] Pashta
כְּחֶ֣רֶב חַדָּ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
בְּצֵ֥ל יָד֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
הֶחְבִּיאָ֑נִי [1] Etnachta
 
וַיְשִׂימֵ֙נִי֙ [3 3] Pashta
לְחֵ֣ץ בָּר֔וּר [2] Zaqef
 
בְּאַשְׁפָּת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
הִסְתִּירָֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq

like a sharp sword, [2]
 
in the shadow of his hand [2]
he hid me; [1]
 
and he made me [3 3]
a polished arrow, [2]
 
in his quiver [2]
he concealed me. [1]

עַבְדִּי־אָ֑תָּה [1] Etnachta
 
יִשְׂרָאֵ֕ל [2] ZaqefG
אֲשֶׁר־בְּךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
אֶתְפָּאָֽר׃ [1] Silluq

“You are my servant; [1]
 
Israel [2]
in whom [2]
I will be glorified.” [1]
4 וַֽאֲנִ֤י אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ [3 3] Pashta
לְרִ֣יק יָגַ֔עְתִּי [2] Zaqef
 
לְתֹ֥הוּ וְהֶ֖בֶל [2] Tip'cha
כֹּחִ֣י כִלֵּ֑יתִי [1] Etnachta
 
אָכֵן֙ [3] Pashta
מִשְׁפָּטִ֣י אֶת־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וּפְעֻלָּתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־אֱלֹהָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

“In vain I have labored, [2]
 
for nothingness and futility [2]
I have spent my strength; [1]
 
yet surely [3]
the justice due to me is with the LORD, [2]
 
and my reward [2]
with my God.” [1]

יֽוֹצְרִ֤י מִבֶּ֙טֶן֙ [3 3] Pashta
לְעֶ֣בֶד ל֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
לְשׁוֹבֵ֤ב יַֽעֲקֹב֙ [3] Pashta
אֵלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
*לא **ל֣וֹ יֵאָסֵ֑ף [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֶכָּבֵד֙ [3] Pashta
בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וֵאלֹהַ֖י [2] Tip'cha
הָיָ֥ה עֻזִּֽי׃ [1] Silluq

who formed me from the womb [3 3]
to be his servant, [2]
 
to bring back Jacob [3]
to him, [2]
 
and Israel [2]
to gather to him; [1]
 
for I am honored [3]
in the eyes of the LORD, [2]
 
and my God, [2]
he has been my strength, [1]

נָקֵ֨ל מִֽהְיוֹתְךָ֥ לִי֙ [3] Pashta

לְהָקִים֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־שִׁבְטֵ֣י יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב [2] Zaqef
 
*ונצירי **וּנְצוּרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
לְהָשִׁ֑יב [1] Etnachta
 
וּנְתַתִּ֙יךָ֙ [3 3] Pashta
לְא֣וֹר גּוֹיִ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
לִהְי֥וֹת יְשׁוּעָתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
עַד־קְצֵ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq

“It is too light a thing that you should be to me [3]
a servant [2]
 
to raise up [3]
the tribes of Jacob [2]
 
and the preserved of Israel [2]
to bring back; [1]
 
so I will make you [3 3]
a light for the nations, [2]
 
to be my salvation [2]
to the end of the earth.” [1]

יִרְא֣וּ וָקָ֔מוּ [2] Zaqef

וְיִֽשְׁתַּחֲו֑וּ [1] Etnachta
 
לְמַ֤עַן יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
אֲשֶׁ֣ר נֶאֱמָ֔ן [2] Zaqef

וַיִּבְחָרֶֽךָּ׃ [1] Silluq

and they will bow down; [1]
 
because of the LORD [3]
who is faithful, [2]
 
the Holy One of Israel [2]
who has chosen you.” [1]

לְהָקִ֣ים אֶ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef
לְהַנְחִ֖יל [2] Tip'cha
נְחָל֥וֹת שֹׁמֵמֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq

“In a time of favor [3]
I will answer you, [2]
 
and in a day of salvation [2]
I will help you; [1]
 
and I will watch over you, [3]
and I will make you [3]
a covenant of the people, [2]
 
to raise up the land, [2]
to give as inheritance [2]
the desolate heritage, [1]
9 לֵאמֹ֤ר לַֽאֲסוּרִים֙ [3] Pashta
צֵ֔אוּ [2] Zaqef
 
לַאֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּחֹ֖שֶׁךְ [2] Tip'cha
הִגָּל֑וּ [1] Etnachta
 
עַל־דְּרָכִ֣ים יִרְע֔וּ [2] Zaqef
וּבְכׇל־שְׁפָיִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
מַרְעִיתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

‘Come out!’ [2]
 
to those who are in darkness, [2]
‘Show yourselves!’ [1]
 
“Along the roads they will graze, [2]
and on all the bare heights [2]
will be their pasture. [1]
10 לֹ֤א יִרְעָ֙בוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
וְלֹ֣א יִצְמָ֔אוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וְלֹא־יַכֵּ֥ם שָׁרָ֖ב [2] Tip'cha
וָשָׁ֑מֶשׁ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּי־מְרַחֲמָ֣ם יְנַהֲגֵ֔ם [2] Zaqef
וְעַל־מַבּ֥וּעֵי מַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
יְנַהֲלֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 10 They will not be hungry [3 3]
and they will not be thirsty, [2]
 
and it will not strike them, burning heat [2]
and sun; [1]
 
for one who has compassion on them will lead them, [2]
and by springs of water [2]
he will guide them. [1]
11 וְשַׂמְתִּ֥י כׇל־הָרַ֖י [2] Tip'cha
לַדָּ֑רֶךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וּמְסִלֹּתַ֖י [2] Tip'cha
יְרֻמֽוּן׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 11 And I will make all my mountains [2]
a road; [1]
 
and my highways, [2]
they will be raised up. [1]
12 הִנֵּה־אֵ֕לֶּה [2] ZaqefG
מֵרָח֖וֹק [2] Tip'cha
יָבֹ֑אוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְהִֽנֵּה־אֵ֙לֶּה֙ [3 3] Pashta
מִצָּפ֣וֹן וּמִיָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֵ֖לֶּה [2] Tip'cha
מֵאֶ֥רֶץ סִינִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 12 Behold these, [2]
from afar [2]
they will come; [1]
 
and behold these [3 3]
from the north and from the west, [2]
 
and these [2]
from the land of Sinim.” [1]
13 רׇנּ֤וּ שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ [3 3] Pashta
וְגִ֣ילִי אָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef
 
*יפצחו **וּפִצְח֥וּ הָרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
רִנָּ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־נִחַ֤ם יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
עַמּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
וַעֲנִיָּ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
יְרַחֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq

and rejoice O earth, [2]
 
and break forth O mountains [2]
with a shout of joy; [1]
 
for the LORD has comforted [3]
his people, [2]
 
and his afflicted [2]
he has compassion on. [1]

14 וַתֹּ֥אמֶר צִיּ֖וֹן [2] Tip'cha
עֲזָבַ֣נִי יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
וַאדֹנָ֖י [2] Tip'cha
שְׁכֵחָֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 14 But Zion said, [2]
“The LORD has forsaken me; [1]
 
and my Lord, [2]
he has forgotten me.” [1]
15 הֲתִשְׁכַּ֤ח אִשָּׁה֙ [3] Pashta
עוּלָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef
 
מֵרַחֵ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
בֶּן־בִּטְנָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
גַּם־אֵ֣לֶּה תִשְׁכַּ֔חְנָה [2] Zaqef
וְאָנֹכִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א אֶשְׁכָּחֵֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 15 “Can a woman forget [3]
her nursing child, [2]
 
from having compassion on [2]
the child of her womb? [1]
 
Even if these forget, [2]
yet I, [2]
I will not forget you. [1]
16 הֵ֥ן עַל־כַּפַּ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
חַקֹּתִ֑יךְ [1] Etnachta
 
חוֹמֹתַ֥יִךְ נֶגְדִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
תָּמִֽיד׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 16 Behold on the palms of (my) hands [2]
I have inscribed you; [1]
 
your walls are before me [2]
continually. [1]
17 מִהֲר֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
בָּנָ֑יִךְ [1] Etnachta
 
מְהָֽרְסַ֥יִךְ וּמַחֲרִיבַ֖יִךְ [2] Tip'cha
מִמֵּ֥ךְ יֵצֵֽאוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 17 They will make haste, [2]
your children; [1]
 
those who tear you down and make you desolate, [2]
from you they will go away. [1]
18 שְׂאִֽי־סָבִ֤יב עֵינַ֙יִךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta
וּרְאִ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
כֻּלָּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
נִקְבְּצ֣וּ בָֽאוּ־לָ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
חַי־אָ֣נִי נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
כִּ֤י כֻלָּם֙ [3] Pashta
כָּעֲדִ֣י תִלְבָּ֔שִׁי [2] Zaqef
 
וּֽתְקַשְּׁרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
כַּכַּלָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq

and see, [2]
 
all of them, [2]
they gather together, they come to you; [1]
 
“As I live” says the LORD, [3]
“Surely all of them [3]
like ornaments you will put on, [2]
 
and you will tie them on [2]
like a bride. [1]
19 כִּ֤י חׇרְבֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta
וְשֹׁ֣מְמֹתַ֔יִךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֶ֖רֶץ [2] Tip'cha
הֲרִסֻתֵ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֤י עַתָּה֙ [3] Pashta
תֵּצְרִ֣י מִיּוֹשֵׁ֔ב [2] Zaqef
 
וְרָחֲק֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
מְבַלְּעָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Silluq

and your desolate, [2]
 
and the land [2]
of your destruction; [1]
 
now [3]
you will be too cramped for the inhabitants, [2]
 
and they will be far away, [2]
those who swallowed you up. [1]
20 ע֚וֹד [3] Yetiv
יֹאמְר֣וּ בְאׇזְנַ֔יִךְ [2] Zaqef
 
בְּנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
שִׁכֻּלָ֑יִךְ [1] Etnachta
 
צַר־לִ֥י הַמָּק֖וֹם [2] Tip'cha
גְּשָׁה־לִּ֥י וְאֵשֵֽׁבָה׃ [1] Silluq

they will say in your ears, [2]
 
the children [2]
of your bereavement; [1]
 
‘The place is too cramped for me, [2]
make room for me to settle in.’ [1]
21 וְאָמַ֣רְתְּ בִּלְבָבֵ֗ךְ [3] Revi'i
מִ֤י יָֽלַד־לִי֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־אֵ֔לֶּה [2] Zaqef
 
וַאֲנִ֥י שְׁכוּלָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וְגַלְמוּדָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
גֹּלָ֣ה ׀ [4] Legarmeh
וְסוּרָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
 
וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ [3 3] Pashta
מִ֣י גִדֵּ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
הֵ֤ן אֲנִי֙ [3] Pashta
נִשְׁאַ֣רְתִּי לְבַדִּ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
אֵ֖לֶּה [2] Tip'cha
אֵיפֹ֥ה הֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq

‘Who has borne for me [3]
these, [2]
 
since I was bereaved [2]
and barren; [1]
 
exiled [4]
and cast aside, [3]

I remained, I alone, [2]
 
these, [2]
where were they?’ ” [1]

הִנֵּ֨ה אֶשָּׂ֤א אֶל־גּוֹיִם֙ [3] Pashta

וְאֶל־עַמִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
אָרִ֣ים נִסִּ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
וְהֵבִ֤יאוּ בָנַ֙יִךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta
בְּחֹ֔צֶן [2] Zaqef
 
וּבְנֹתַ֖יִךְ [2] Tip'cha
עַל־כָּתֵ֥ף תִּנָּשֶֽׂאנָה׃ [1] Silluq

the Lord GOD, [3]
 
“Behold I will lift up to the nations [3]
my hand, [2]
 
and to the peoples [2]
I will raise my banner; [1]
 
and they will bring your sons [3 3]
in (their) bosom, [2]
 
and your daughters, [2]
on (their) shoulder they will be carried. [1]
23 וְהָי֨וּ מְלָכִ֜ים [4] Geresh
אֹמְנַ֗יִךְ [3] Revi'i
 
וְשָׂרֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ [3] Pashta
מֵינִ֣יקֹתַ֔יִךְ [2] Zaqef
 
אַפַּ֗יִם [3] Revi'i
אֶ֚רֶץ [3] Yetiv
יִשְׁתַּ֣חֲווּ לָ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וַעֲפַ֥ר רַגְלַ֖יִךְ [2] Tip'cha
יְלַחֵ֑כוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְיָדַ֙עַתְּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
כִּי־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־יֵבֹ֖שׁוּ [2] Tip'cha
קֹוָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

your foster fathers, [3]
 
and their princesses [3]
your nursing mothers, [2]
 
faces [3]
(to the) ground [3]
they will bow down to you, [2]
 
and the dust of your feet [2]
they will lick; [1]
 
then you will know [3 3]
that I am the LORD, [2]
 
(in) whom they will not be ashamed, [2]
those who wait for me.” [1]

24 הֲיֻקַּ֥ח מִגִּבּ֖וֹר [2] Tip'cha
מַלְק֑וֹחַ [1] Etnachta
 
וְאִם־שְׁבִ֥י צַדִּ֖יק [2] Tip'cha
יִמָּלֵֽט׃ [1] Silluq
ס
1 2 2 24 Can it be taken from the mighty, [2]
plunder; [1]
 
or captives of the righteous [2]
be delivered? [1]

25 כִּי־כֹ֣ה ׀ [4] Legarmeh
אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
 
גַּם־שְׁבִ֤י גִבּוֹר֙ [3] Pashta
יֻקָּ֔ח [2] Zaqef
 
וּמַלְק֥וֹחַ עָרִ֖יץ [2] Tip'cha
יִמָּלֵ֑ט [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֶת־יְרִיבֵךְ֙ [3] Pashta
אָנֹכִ֣י אָרִ֔יב [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֶת־בָּנַ֖יִךְ [2] Tip'cha
אָנֹכִ֥י אוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ [1] Silluq

says the LORD, [3]
 
“Yes, the captive of the mighty, [3]
he will be taken, [2]
 
and the prey of the tyrant, [2]
it will be rescued; [1]
 
for your opponent [3]
I, I will oppose, [2]
 
and your children [2]
I, I will save. [1]
26 וְהַאֲכַלְתִּ֤י אֶת־מוֹנַ֙יִךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta
אֶת־בְּשָׂרָ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וְכֶעָסִ֖יס [2] Tip'cha
דָּמָ֣ם יִשְׁכָּר֑וּן [1] Etnachta
 
וְיָדְע֣וּ כׇל־בָּשָׂ֗ר [3] Revi'i
כִּ֣י אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
מֽוֹשִׁיעֵ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וְגֹאֲלֵ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
אֲבִ֥יר יַעֲקֹֽב׃ [1] Silluq
ס
1 2 3 2 2 3 3 2 26 And I will make those who oppress you eat [3 3]
their own flesh, [2]
 
and like sweet wine, [2]
on their own blood they will become drunk; [1]
 
then all flesh will know, [3]
that I the LORD [3]
am your Deliverer, [2]
 
and your Redeemer [2]
the Mighty One of Jacob.” [1]
