1 Thus [4] says the LORD, [3] the divorce certificate of your mother, [3] (by) which I sent her away, [2] which of my creditors is it, [2] to him? [1] you were sold, [2] your mother was sent away. [1] |

2 Why when I came, [4] was there no one, [3] was there no one to answer? [2] to redeem, [2] to deliver? [1] I dry up the sea, [3] a wilderness, [2] from no water, [2] of thirst. [1] |

4 The Lord GOD, [3] he has given to me [3] the tongue of those who are taught, [2] to sustain the weary [2] with a word; [1] morning by morning, [3] an ear [2] as those who are taught. [1] |

7 For the Lord GOD, [3] he will help me, [2] I have not been disgraced; [1] I have set my face [3] like flint, [2] that I will not be ashamed. [1] |
