בִּגְדֵ֣י תִפְאַרְתֵּ֗ךְ [3] Revi'i
 
יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ [3 3] Pashta
עִ֣יר הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ [2] Zaqef
 
כִּ֣י לֹ֥א יוֹסִ֛יף [3] Tevir
יָבֹא־בָ֥ךְ ע֖וֹד [2] Tip'cha
עָרֵ֥ל וְטָמֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq

אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
מִצְרַ֛יִם [3] Tevir
יָֽרַד־עַמִּ֥י בָרִֽאשֹׁנָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לָג֣וּר שָׁ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וְאַשּׁ֖וּר [2] Tip'cha
בְּאֶ֥פֶס עֲשָׁקֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

“Egypt, [3]
my people went down at the former time [2]
to sojourn there; [1]
 
and Assyria [2]
for nothing it oppressed her. [1]
5 וְעַתָּ֤ה מַה־לִּי־פֹה֙ [3] Pashta
נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
כִּֽי־לֻקַּ֥ח עַמִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
חִנָּ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
מֹשְׁלָ֤ו יְהֵילִ֙ילוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְתָמִ֥יד כׇּל־הַיּ֖וֹם [2] Tip'cha
שְׁמִ֥י מִנֹּאָֽץ׃ [1] Silluq

“that my people are taken away [2]
for nothing? [1]
 
Its rulers wail,” [3 3]

“and continually all the day [2]

they shall know that it is I who speak, [2]

7 מַה־נָּאו֨וּ עַל־הֶהָרִ֜ים [4] Geresh
רַגְלֵ֣י מְבַשֵּׂ֗ר [3] Revi'i
 
מַשְׁמִ֧יעַ שָׁל֛וֹם [3] Tevir
מְבַשֵּׂ֥ר ט֖וֹב [2] Tip'cha
 
מַשְׁמִ֣יעַ יְשׁוּעָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
אֹמֵ֥ר לְצִיּ֖וֹן [2] Tip'cha
מָלַ֥ךְ אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Silluq

the feet of one who brings good news, [3]
 
who proclaims peace, [3]
who brings good news of happiness, [2]
 
who proclaims salvation; [1]
 
who says to Zion, [2]
“Your God reigns!” [1]
8 ק֥וֹל צֹפַ֛יִךְ [3] Tevir
נָ֥שְׂאוּ ק֖וֹל [2] Tip'cha
יַחְדָּ֣ו יְרַנֵּ֑נוּ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י עַ֤יִן בְּעַ֙יִן֙ [3 3] Pashta
יִרְא֔וּ [2] Zaqef
 
בְּשׁ֥וּב יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
צִיּֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq

they will lift up a voice, [2]
together they shout for joy; [1]
 
for eye to eye [3 3]
they will see [2]
 
when the LORD returns [2]

he will be high and he will be lifted up [3]
and he will be exalted, [2]

כֵּן־מִשְׁחַ֥ת מֵאִ֖ישׁ [2] Tip'cha

וְתֹאֲר֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
מִבְּנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

disfigured more than any man [2]

and his form [2]
more than the sons of men, [1]
