איוב 34 | Job 34 | |||
[1] Silluq |
1 And Elihu answered [3/2] and he said, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
2 “Hear O wise [3] my words; [2] give ear to me. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
3 For the ear, [3] it tests words; [2] it tastes food. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
4 Justice let us choose for ourselves; [2] what is good. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
5 For Job says, [3] ‘I am righteous; [2] he has taken away my right. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
6 In spite of my right I am counted a liar; [2] though without transgression.’ [1] |
[2] Etnachta |
7 What man is like Job; [2] |
[1] Silluq |
8 and he goes in company [3] with those who do evil; [2] with wicked men? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
9 For he has said, [3] ‘It is of no use to a man; [2] with God.’ [1] |
10 “Therefore [4] O men of understanding, [3] listen to me; [2] and the Almighty from unrighteousness. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
11 For the work of a person [3] he will repay to him; [2] he will make him find. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
12 Yes surely, [3] God doesn't act wickedly; [2] he doesn't pervert justice. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
13 Who put him in charge [3] of the earth? [2] (over) the whole world? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
14 If he sets on it [3] his heart; [2] he will gather to himself, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
15 all flesh would perish [3] together; [2] to dust it would return. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
16 “And if (you have) understanding, hear this; [2] to the sound of my words. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
17 Also one who hates justice, [3] will he govern? [2] will you condemn as guilty? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
18 Who says to a king, [3] ‘Worthless person!’ [2] to the noble? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
19 Who doesn’t lift up [4] the faces of princes, [3] before the poor; [2] are all of them. [1] |
20 In a moment [4] they die, [3] in the middle of the night; [2] and they pass away, [2] not by a hand. [1] |
21 כִּֽי־עֵ֭ינָיו [3] Dechi עַל־דַּרְכֵי־אִ֑ישׁ [2] Etnachta |
21 “For his eyes [3] are on the ways of man; [2] |
[1] Silluq |
22 There is no darkness, [3] nor thick gloom; [2] those who do wickedness. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
23 For not on a person [3] will he consider further; [2] in judgment. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
24 He breaks mighty ones [3] in ways past finding out; [2] in their place. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
25 Therefore [3] he is acquainted with [3] their deeds; [2] and they are crushed. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
26 He strikes them as wicked men [3/2] in the open sight of others, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
27 because [3] they turned away from following him; [2] they wouldn’t consider, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
28 causing to come to him [3] the outcry of the poor; [2] he heard. [1] |
29 When he, he keeps quiet, [4] who can condemn as guilty? [3] who can observe him? [2] alike, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
30 from reigning [3] a godless man, [3/2] from snares of a people. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
31 “For to God [3] has anyone said, ‘I am guilty, [3/2] but I will not offend anymore, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
32 that which I don’t see [3] O you instruct me; [2] I will do it no more’? [1] |
[2] Etnachta |
33 Should his recompense be on your terms [4] because you reject it? [3] and not I; [2] |
[1] Silluq |
34 Men of understanding, [3] they will say to me; [2] who listens to me, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
35 ‘Job, [3] he speaks without knowledge; [2] are without insight.’ [1] |
[1] Silluq |
36 I wish that [3] Job would be tested [3] forever; [2] like people of wickedness. [1] |
37 For he adds to his sin transgression. [3] He claps (his hands) among us; [2] against God.” [1] ¶ |
