1 אַף־לְ֭זֹאת [3] Dechi יֶחֱרַ֣ד לִבִּ֑י [2] Etnachta מִמְּקוֹמֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
1 “And at this [3] my heart trembles; [2] from its place. [1] |

2 שִׁמְע֤וּ שָׁמ֣וֹעַ בְּרֹ֣גֶז [3] VDechi קֹל֑וֹ [2] Etnachta מִפִּ֥יו יֵצֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq |
2 Listen carefully to the thunder [3] of his voice; [2] that comes from his mouth. [1] |

3 תַּֽחַת־כׇּל־הַשָּׁמַ֥יִם יִשְׁרֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta עַל־כַּנְפ֥וֹת הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
3 Under the whole heavens he lets it loose; [2] to the ends of the earth. [1] |

4 אַחֲרָ֤יו ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh יִשְׁאַג־ק֗וֹל [3] Revi'i בְּק֣וֹל גְּאוֹנ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta כִּֽי־יִשָּׁמַ֥ע קוֹלֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
4 After it [4] a voice roars, [3] with his majestic voice; [2] when his voice is heard. [1] |

5 יַרְעֵ֤ם אֵ֣ל בְּ֭קוֹלוֹ [3] Dechi נִפְלָא֑וֹת [2] Etnachta וְלֹ֣א נֵדָֽע׃ [1] Silluq |
5 God thunders with his voice [3] wondrously; [2] that we can't comprehend. [1] |

6 כִּ֤י לַשֶּׁ֨לֶג ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh יֹאמַ֗ר [3] Revi'i הֱוֵ֫א אָ֥רֶץ [2] Ole Veyored וְ֝גֶ֗שֶׁם [2] Revi'i Mugrash מִטְר֥וֹת עֻזּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
6 For to the snow [4] he says, [3] ‘Fall on the earth,’ [2] and the shower [2] of his mighty rains. [1] |

7 בְּיַד־כׇּל־אָדָ֥ם יַחְתּ֑וֹם [2] Etnachta כׇּל־אַנְשֵׁ֥י מַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
7 On the hand of every man he puts a seal; [2] all the people of his work. [1] |

8 וַתָּב֣וֹא חַיָּ֣ה [3] VDechi בְמוֹ־אָ֑רֶב [2] Etnachta תִשְׁכֹּֽן׃ [1] Silluq |
8 Then the beast goes [3] into its lair; [2] it remains. [1] |

9 מִן־הַ֭חֶדֶר [3] Dechi תָּב֣וֹא סוּפָ֑ה [2] Etnachta |
9 From the chamber [3] a stormwind comes; [2] |

10 מִנִּשְׁמַת־אֵ֥ל יִתֶּן־קָ֑רַח [2] Etnachta בְּמוּצָֽק׃ [1] Silluq |
10 From the breath of God ice is made; [2] is frozen. [1] |
|||
11 אַף־בְּ֭רִי [3] Dechi יַטְרִ֣יחַ עָ֑ב [2] Etnachta עֲנַ֣ן אוֹרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
11 And with moisture [3] he loads the thick clouds; [2] his cloud of lightning. [1] |

12 וְה֤וּא מְסִבּ֨וֹת ׀ [4/3] Azla Legarmeh מִתְהַפֵּ֣ךְ בְּ֫תַחְבּוּלֹתָ֥ו [2] Ole Veyored כֹּ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְצַוֵּ֓ם ׀ [2] ShalsheletG עַל־פְּנֵ֖י תֵבֵ֣ל [2] VRevMug אָֽרְצָה׃ [1] Silluq |
12 And it round about [4/3] turns every way by his guidance; [2] all that he commands them [2] over the surface of the world, [2] to the earth, [1] |

13 אִם־לְשֵׁ֥בֶט אִם־לְאַרְצ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta יַמְצִאֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
13 whether for correction or for his land; [2] he causes it to happen. [1] |

14 הַאֲזִ֣ינָה זֹּ֣את [3] VDechi אִיּ֑וֹב [2] Etnachta וְהִתְבּוֹנֵ֤ן ׀ [4/2] Mahpakh Legarmeh נִפְלְא֬וֹת אֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq |
14 “Give ear to this [3] O Job; [2] and consider [4/2] the wonders of God. [1] |

15 הֲ֭תֵדַע [3] Dechi בְּשׂוּם־אֱל֣וֹהַּ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta א֣וֹר עֲנָנֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
15 Do you know [3] how God controls them; [2] the lightning of his cloud? [1] |

16 הֲ֭תֵדַע [3] Dechi עַל־מִפְלְשֵׂי־עָ֑ב [2] Etnachta תְּמִ֣ים דֵּעִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
16 Do you know [3] the balancing of clouds; [2] of one who is perfect in knowledge? [1] |

17 אֲשֶׁר־בְּגָדֶ֥יךָ חַמִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta מִדָּרֽוֹם׃ [1] Silluq |
17 You whose clothing is hot; [2] because of the south wind? [1] |

18 תַּרְקִ֣יעַ עִ֭מּוֹ [3] Dechi לִשְׁחָקִ֑ים [2] Etnachta כִּרְאִ֥י מוּצָֽק׃ [1] Silluq |
18 Can you spread out with him [3] the skies; [2] as a cast metal mirror? [1] |

19 ה֭וֹדִיעֵנוּ [3] Dechi מַה־נֹּ֣אמַר ל֑וֹ [2] Etnachta מִפְּנֵי־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Silluq |
19 Teach us [3] what we shall say to him; [2] because of darkness. [1] |

20 הַֽיְסֻפַּר־ל֭וֹ [3] Dechi כִּ֣י אֲדַבֵּ֑ר [2] Etnachta כִּ֣י יְבֻלָּֽע׃ [1] Silluq |
20 Shall it be told him [3] that I would speak? [2] would he be swallowed up? [1] |

21 וְעַתָּ֤ה ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh לֹ֘א רָ֤אוּ א֗וֹר [3] Revi'i בַּשְּׁחָקִ֑ים [2] Etnachta וַֽתְּטַהֲרֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
21 But now [4] they don’t see the light, [3] in the skies; [2] and it has cleared them. [1] |

22 מִ֭צָּפוֹן [3] Dechi זָהָ֣ב יֶאֱתֶ֑ה [2] Etnachta נ֣וֹרָא הֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq |
22 Out of the north [3] comes golden splendor; [2] is awesome majesty. [1] |

23 שַׁדַּ֣י לֹא־מְ֭צָאנֻהוּ [3] Dechi שַׂגִּיא־כֹ֑חַ [2] Etnachta לֹ֣א יְעַנֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
23 The Almighty, we cannot find him, [3] exalted in power; [2] he will not oppress. [1] |

24 לָ֭כֵן [3] Dechi יְרֵא֣וּהוּ אֲנָשִׁ֑ים [2] Etnachta כׇּל־חַכְמֵי־לֵֽב׃ [1] Silluq פ |
24 Therefore [3] people revere him; [2] any who are wise of heart.” [1] ¶ |
