איוב 41 .
1 הֵן־תֹּחַלְתּ֥וֹ נִכְזָ֑בָה [2] Etnachta
 
הֲגַ֖ם אֶל־מַרְאָ֣יו [2] VRevMug
יֻטָֽל׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 9 Behold, any hope against him fails; [2]
 
just by the sight of him [2]
anyone will be thrown down. [1]
2 לֹֽא־אַ֭כְזָר [3] Dechi
כִּ֣י יְעוּרֶ֑נּוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וּמִ֥י ה֝֗וּא [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְפָנַ֥י יִתְיַצָּֽב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 None is so fierce [3]
that he dare stir him up; [2]
 
who then is he [2]
who can stand before me? [1]
3 מִ֣י הִ֭קְדִּימַנִי [3] Dechi
וַאֲשַׁלֵּ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
תַּ֖חַת כׇּל־הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם [2] VRevMug
לִי־הֽוּא׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 Who has given to me [3]
that I should repay? [2]
 
Everything under the heavens, [2]
to me it belongs. [1]
4 *לא **לוֹ־אַחֲרִ֥ישׁ בַּדָּ֑יו [2] Etnachta
 
וּדְבַר־גְּ֝בוּר֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְחִ֣ין עֶרְכּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 12 “I will not keep silent about his limbs; [2]
 
or the extent of his might [2]
and the grace of his arrangement. [1]
5 מִֽי־גִ֭לָּה [3] Dechi
פְּנֵ֣י לְבוּשׁ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
בְּכֶ֥פֶל רִ֝סְנ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִ֣י יָבֽוֹא׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 Who can strip off [3]
his outer garment? [2]
 
Within his double bridle [2]
who would come? [1]
6 דַּלְתֵ֣י פָ֭נָיו [3] Dechi
מִ֣י פִתֵּ֑חַ [2] Etnachta
 
סְבִיב֖וֹת שִׁנָּ֣יו [2] VRevMug
אֵימָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 The doors of his face, [3]
who can open? [2]
 
Around his teeth [2]
is terror. [1]
7 גַּ֭אֲוָה [3] Dechi
אֲפִיקֵ֣י מָגִנִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
סָ֝ג֗וּר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
חוֹתָ֥ם צָֽר׃ [1] Silluq

is rows of shields; [2]
 
shut up together [2]
with a close seal. [1]
8 אֶחָ֣ד בְּאֶחָ֣ד [3] VDechi
יִגַּ֑שׁוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝ר֗וּחַ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹא־יָבֹ֥א בֵינֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

they draw near; [2]
 
and a breath, [2]
it can't come between them. [1]
9 אִישׁ־בְּאָחִ֥יהוּ יְדֻבָּ֑קוּ [2] Etnachta
 
יִ֝תְלַכְּד֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְלֹ֣א יִתְפָּרָֽדוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 17 One to another they are joined together; [2]
 
they clasp one another [2]
and cannot be separated. [1]
10 עֲ֭טִישֹׁתָיו [3] Dechi
תָּ֣הֶל א֑וֹר [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝עֵינָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כְּעַפְעַפֵּי־שָֽׁחַר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 His sneezing, [3]
it flashes forth light; [2]
 
and his eyes [2]
are like the eyelids of dawn. [1]
11 מִ֭פִּיו [3] Dechi
לַפִּידִ֣ים יַהֲלֹ֑כוּ [2] Etnachta
 
כִּיד֥וֹדֵי אֵ֝֗שׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִתְמַלָּֽטוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 Out of his mouth [3]
go flaming torches; [2]
 
sparks of fire, [2]
they leap forth. [1]
12 מִ֭נְּחִירָיו [3] Dechi
יֵצֵ֣א עָשָׁ֑ן [2] Etnachta
 
כְּד֖וּד נָפ֣וּחַ [2] VRevMug
וְאַגְמֹֽן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 20 Out of his nostrils [3]
smoke comes forth; [2]
 
as from a boiling pot [2]
and burning reeds. [1]

גֶּחָלִ֣ים תְּלַהֵ֑ט [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝לַ֗הַב [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִפִּ֥יו יֵצֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 21 His breath, [3]
it kindles coals; [2]
 
and a flame, [2]
it goes forth from his mouth. [1]
14 בְּֽ֭צַוָּארוֹ [3] Dechi
יָלִ֣ין עֹ֑ז [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝לְפָנָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תָּד֥וּץ דְּאָבָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 In his neck [3]
abides strength; [2]
 
and before him [2]
terror dances. [1]
15 מַפְּלֵ֣י בְשָׂר֣וֹ [3] VDechi
דָבֵ֑קוּ [2] Etnachta
 
יָצ֥וּק עָ֝לָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּל־יִמּֽוֹט׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 23 The folds of his flesh, [3]
they adhere; [2]
 
firm upon him, [2]
they can’t be moved. [1]
16 לִ֭בּוֹ [3] Dechi
יָצ֣וּק כְּמוֹ־אָ֑בֶן [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝יָצ֗וּק [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כְּפֶ֣לַח תַּחְתִּֽית׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 24 His heart [3]
is hard as a stone; [2]
 
and hard [2]
as a lower millstone. [1]
17 מִ֭שֵּׂתוֹ [3] Dechi
יָג֣וּרוּ אֵלִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
מִ֝שְּׁבָרִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִתְחַטָּֽאוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 25 From his rising, [3]
the mighty are afraid; [2]
 
from crashings [2]
they are bewildered. [1]
18 מַשִּׂיגֵ֣הוּ חֶ֭רֶב [3] Dechi
בְּלִ֣י תָק֑וּם [2] Etnachta
 
חֲנִ֖ית מַסָּ֣ע [2] VRevMug
וְשִׁרְיָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 26 If one reaches him with a sword, [3]
it doesn’t prevail; [2]
 
or a spear, a dart, [2]
or a javelin. [1]
19 יַחְשֹׁ֣ב לְתֶ֣בֶן [3] VDechi
בַּרְזֶ֑ל [2] Etnachta
 
לְעֵ֖ץ רִקָּב֣וֹן [2] VRevMug
נְחוּשָֽׁה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 27 He counts as straw, [3]
iron; [2]
 
and as rotten wood, [2]
bronze. [1]
20 לֹא־יַבְרִיחֶ֥נּוּ בֶן־קָ֑שֶׁת [2] Etnachta
 
לְ֝קַ֗שׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נֶהְפְּכוּ־ל֥וֹ אַבְנֵי־קָֽלַע׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 28 The arrow cannot make him flee; [2]
 
into chaff [2]
the stones of a sling are turned by him. [1]
21 כְּ֭קַשׁ [3] Dechi
נֶחְשְׁב֣וּ תוֹתָ֑ח [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝יִשְׂחַ֗ק [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְרַ֣עַשׁ כִּידֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 29 As chaff [3]
clubs are counted; [2]
 
and he laughs [2]
at the shaking of a javelin. [1]
22 תַּ֭חְתָּיו [3] Dechi
חַדּ֣וּדֵי חָ֑רֶשׂ [2] Etnachta
 
יִרְפַּ֖ד חָר֣וּץ [2] VRevMug
עֲלֵי־טִֽיט׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 30 His underside [3]
is like sharp potsherds; [2]
 
he spreads himself like a threshing sledge [2]
on the mire. [1]
23 יַרְתִּ֣יחַ כַּסִּ֣יר [3] VDechi
מְצוּלָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
יָ֝֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָשִׂ֥ים כַּמֶּרְקָחָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 31 He makes it boil like a pot, [3]
the deep; [2]
 
the sea [2]
he makes like a pot of ointment. [1]
24 אַ֭חֲרָיו [3] Dechi
יָאִ֣יר נָתִ֑יב [2] Etnachta
 
יַחְשֹׁ֖ב תְּה֣וֹם [2] VRevMug
לְשֵׂיבָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 32 Behind him [3]
he leaves a shining wake; [2]
 
one would think the deep [2]
to be white-haired. [1]
25 אֵֽין־עַל־עָפָ֥ר מׇשְׁל֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
הֶ֝עָשׂ֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לִבְלִי־חָֽת׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 33 On earth there is none like him; [2]
 
one made [2]
to be fearless. [1]
26 אֵֽת־כׇּל־גָּבֹ֥הַּ יִרְאֶ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
ה֝֗וּא [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מֶ֣לֶךְ עַל־כׇּל־בְּנֵי־שָֽׁחַץ׃ [1] Silluq
