a refuge [2]
in a day of trouble; [1]
 
and he knows [2]
those who take refuge in him. [1]

יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה מְקוֹמָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֹיְבָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
יְרַדֶּף־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Silluq

complete destruction [2]
he will make of her place; [1]
 
and his enemies [2]
he will pursue into darkness. [1]

ה֣וּא עֹשֶׂ֑ה [1] Etnachta

לֹא־יִזָּרַ֥ע מִשִּׁמְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha

מִבֵּ֨ית אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ [4] Geresh
אַכְרִ֨ית פֶּ֧סֶל וּמַסֵּכָ֛ה [3] Tevir

yet they flee away, [2]
“Stop! Stop!” [2]
