2 A jealous and avenging God [3] is the LORD. [2] and is full of wrath. [1] on his adversaries, [2] against his enemies. [1] |

5 The mountains, [3] they quake before him, [2] they melt; [1] at his presence, [2] and all who dwell in it. [1] |

8 But with an overflowing flood, [2] complete destruction [2] he will make of her place; [1] he will pursue into darkness. [1] |

14 And he has commanded against you, [3 3] the LORD, [2] anymore. [1] I will cut off idol and molten image. [3] I will make your grave, [2] for you are worthless.” [1] ¶ |

4 In the streets [3] the chariots rage. [2] in the open places. [1] is like torches. [2] they run around. [1] |

7 And it is decreed, [2] she is uncovered, she is taken away; [1] moan [3] like the sound of doves, [2] on their breasts. [1] |

8 But Nineveh has been like a pool of water [2] throughout its days; [1] “Stop! Stop!” [2] but no one turns back. [1] |
