1 וּבְיוֹם֩ עֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְאַרְבָּעָ֜ה [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַזֶּ֗ה [3] Munach Revi'a
 
נֶאֶסְפ֤וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּצ֣וֹם וּבְשַׂקִּ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַאֲדָמָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

the children of Israel gathered [3]
with fasting and in sackcloth, [2]
 
and dirt [2]
on them. [1]
2 וַיִּבָּֽדְלוּ֙ [3] Pashta
זֶ֣רַע יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מִכֹּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
בְּנֵ֣י נֵכָ֑ר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיַּעַמְד֗וּ [3] Revi'a
וַיִּתְוַדּוּ֙ [3] Pashta
עַל־חַטֹּ֣אתֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַעֲוֺנ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
אֲבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

the offspring of Israel [2]
 
from all [2]
foreigners; [1]
 
and they stood [3]
and they confessed [3]
their sins, [2]
 
and the iniquities [2]
of their fathers. [1]

מִתְוַדִּ֣ים וּמִֽשְׁתַּחֲוִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef

כִּ֣י יָדַ֔עְתָּ [2] Munach Zaqef

וַתַּֽעַשׂ־לְךָ֥ שֵׁ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha

against Pharaoh and against all his servants, [3]

for you knew [2]
how insolently they had acted [2]

they behaved arrogantly; [1]

וְלֹא־זָכְר֤וּ נִפְלְאֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֣יתָ עִמָּהֶ֔ם [2] Munach Munach Zaqef
 
וַיַּקְשׁוּ֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־עׇרְפָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּתְּנוּ־רֹ֛אשׁ [3] Tevir
לָשׁ֥וּב לְעַבְדֻתָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּמִרְיָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וְאַתָּה֩ אֱל֨וֹהַּ סְלִיח֜וֹת [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
חַנּ֧וּן וְרַח֛וּם [3] Darga Tevir
אֶֽרֶךְ־אַפַּ֥יִם וְרַב־*וחסד **חֶ֖סֶד [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלֹ֥א עֲזַבְתָּֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

they did not remember your wonders [3]
that you had done among them, [2]

and they appointed a leader [3]
to return to their bondage, [2]

but you are a God of forgiveness, [4]
merciful and compassionate, [3]
slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, [2]
so you did not abandon them. [1]

לֹא־סָ֨ר מֵעֲלֵיהֶ֤ם בְּיוֹמָם֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta

לֹ֣א בָל֔וּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְרַגְלֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha

ע֥וֹג מֶֽלֶךְ־הַבָּשָֽׁן׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

and you allotted them [2]

וַתְּבִיאֵם֙ [3] Pashta
אֶל־הָאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁר־אָמַ֥רְתָּ לַאֲבֹתֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לָב֥וֹא לָרָֽשֶׁת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

like the stars [2]
of the heavens; [1]
 
and you brought them [3]
into the land [2]
 
that you told their fathers [2]
to go in to inherit. [1]

לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת בָּהֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כִּרְצוֹנָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

the Canaanites, [2]

כְּרָמִ֧ים וְזֵיתִ֛ים [3] Darga Tevir
 
וְעֵ֥ץ מַאֲכָ֖ל [2] Merkha Tip'cha
 
לָרֹ֑ב [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּאכְל֤וּ וַֽיִּשְׂבְּעוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וַיַּשְׁמִ֔ינוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וַיִּֽתְעַדְּנ֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
בְּטוּבְךָ֥ הַגָּדֽוֹל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

houses full of every good thing, [4]
cisterns dug out, [4]

so they ate and they were satisfied [3]
and they grew fat, [2]
 
and they delighted [2]
in your great goodness. [1]

וְאֶת־נְבִיאֶ֣יךָ הָרָ֔גוּ [2] Munach Zaqef

וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֔וּ [2] Zaqef
נֶאָצ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
גְּדוֹלֹֽת׃ [1] Silluq

מִשָּׁמַ֣יִם תִּשְׁמָ֔ע [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּֽכְרַחֲמֶ֣יךָ הָֽרַבִּ֗ים [3] Munach Revi'a
תִּתֵּ֤ן לָהֶם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
מֽוֹשִׁיעִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וְיוֹשִׁיע֖וּם [2] Tip'cha
מִיַּ֥ד צָרֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

and they oppressed [2]

deliverers, [2]
 
and they rescued them [2]
from the hand of their enemies. [1]

וְתַצִּילֵ֥ם כְּֽרַחֲמֶ֖יךָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
רַבּ֥וֹת עִתִּֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

doing evil [2]

so you abandoned them [4]
into the hand of their enemies, [3]

you heard from heaven, [3]
and you delivered them according to your compassion, [2]
many times. [1]

וְהֵ֨מָּה הֵזִ֜ידוּ [4] Qadma Geresh
וְלֹא־שָׁמְע֤וּ לְמִצְוֺתֶ֙יךָ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וּבְמִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָ חָֽטְאוּ־בָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה אָדָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְחָיָ֣ה בָהֶ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ כָתֵף֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
סוֹרֶ֔רֶת [2] Zaqef
 
וְעׇרְפָּ֥ם הִקְשׁ֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלֹ֥א שָׁמֵֽעוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

but they became insolent [4]
and they did not listen to your commandments, [3]
but they sinned against your ordinances, [2]

of stubbornness, [2]
 
and their neck they stiffened [2]
and they would not listen. [1]
30 וַתִּמְשֹׁ֤ךְ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
שָׁנִ֣ים רַבּ֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַתָּ֨עַד בָּ֧ם בְּרוּחֲךָ֛ [3] Qadma Darga Tevir
בְּיַד־נְבִיאֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
וְלֹ֣א הֶאֱזִ֑ינוּ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַֽתִּתְּנֵ֔ם [2] Zaqef
בְּיַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
עַמֵּ֥י הָאֲרָצֹֽת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

many years, [2]
 
and you warned them by your Spirit [3]
by the hand of your prophets, [2]
but they would not listen; [1]
 
so you gave them [2]
into the hand [2]
of the peoples of the lands. [1]
31 וּֽבְרַחֲמֶ֧יךָ הָרַבִּ֛ים [3] Darga Tevir
לֹֽא־עֲשִׂיתָ֥ם כָּלָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלֹ֣א עֲזַבְתָּ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּ֛י [3] Tevir
אֵֽל־חַנּ֥וּן וְרַח֖וּם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אָֽתָּה׃ [1] Silluq

from the days [3]
of the kings of Assyria [2]

וַאֲנַ֥חְנוּ הִרְשָֽׁעְנוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

וְלֹ֤א הִקְשִׁ֙יבוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֶל־מִצְוֺתֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef
 
וּלְעֵ֣דְוֺתֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef
אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַעִידֹ֖תָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בָּהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

וּבְאֶ֨רֶץ הָרְחָבָ֧ה וְהַשְּׁמֵנָ֛ה [3] Qadma Darga Tevir
אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥תָּ לִפְנֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
 
לֹ֣א עֲבָד֑וּךָ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְֽלֹא־שָׁ֔בוּ [2] Zaqef
מִמַּֽעַלְלֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
הָרָעִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

וְעַ֣ל גְּ֠וִיֹּתֵינוּ [4] Munach TelishaG
מֹשְׁלִ֤ים וּבִבְהֶמְתֵּ֙נוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta

וּבְצָרָ֥ה גְדֹלָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
