1 בְּ֭נִי [3] Dechi
אִם־תִּקַּ֣ח אֲמָרָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝מִצְוֺתַ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תִּצְפֹּ֥ן אִתָּֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 O my son, [3]
if you will receive my words; [2]
 
and my commandments [2]
you will treasure within you, [1]
2 לְהַקְשִׁ֣יב לַחׇכְמָ֣ה [3] VDechi
אׇזְנֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
תַּטֶּ֥ה לִ֝בְּךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לַתְּבוּנָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 turning to wisdom [3]
your ear; [2]
 
you will incline your heart [2]
to understanding. [1]
3 כִּ֤י אִ֣ם לַבִּינָ֣ה [3] VDechi
תִקְרָ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
לַ֝תְּבוּנָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תִּתֵּ֥ן קוֹלֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 For if to discernment [3]
you will call; [2]
 
(if) to understanding [2]
you will lift up your voice, [1]
4 אִם־תְּבַקְשֶׁ֥נָּה כַכָּ֑סֶף [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽכַמַּטְמוֹנִ֥ים תַּחְפְּשֶֽׂנָּה׃ [1] Silluq
2 4 if you seek her as silver; [2]
 
and like hidden treasures you search for her, [1]
5 אָ֗ז [3] Revi'i
תָּ֭בִין [3] Dechi
יִרְאַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְדַ֖עַת אֱלֹהִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תִּמְצָֽא׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 5 then [3]
you will know [3]
the fear of the LORD; [2]
 
and the knowledge of God [2]
you will discover. [1]
6 כִּֽי־יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
יִתֵּ֣ן חׇכְמָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
מִ֝פִּ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
דַּ֣עַת וּתְבוּנָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 For the LORD, [3]
he gives wisdom; [2]
 
from his mouth, [2]
knowledge and understanding. [1]
7 *וצפן **יִצְפֹּ֣ן לַ֭יְשָׁרִים [3] Dechi
תּוּשִׁיָּ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
מָ֝גֵ֗ן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְהֹ֣לְכֵי תֹֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 He stores up for the upright [3]
sound wisdom; [2]
 
a shield [2]
to those who walk in integrity, [1]
8 לִ֭נְצֹר [3] Dechi
אׇרְח֣וֹת מִשְׁפָּ֑ט [2] Etnachta
 
וְדֶ֖רֶךְ חֲסִידָ֣ו [2] VRevMug
יִשְׁמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 to guard [3]
the paths of justice; [2]
 
that the way of his faithful ones [2]
he will preserve. [1]
9 אָ֗ז [3] Revi'i
תָּ֭בִין [3] Dechi
צֶ֣דֶק וּמִשְׁפָּ֑ט [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝מֵישָׁרִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־מַעְגַּל־טֽוֹב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 9 Then [3]
you will understand [3]
righteousness and justice; [2]
 
and fairness - [2]
every good path. [1]
10 כִּֽי־תָב֣וֹא חׇכְמָ֣ה [3] VDechi
בְלִבֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝דַ֗עַת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְֽנַפְשְׁךָ֥ יִנְעָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 For wisdom will come [3]
into your heart; [2]
 
and knowledge, [2]
it will be pleasant to your soul. [1]
11 מְ֭זִמָּה [3] Dechi
תִּשְׁמֹ֥ר עָלֶ֗יךָ [3/2] Revi'i
תְּבוּנָ֥ה תִנְצְרֶֽכָּה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 11 Discretion, [3]
it will watch over you; [3/2]
understanding will guard you, [1]
12 לְ֭הַצִּ֣ילְךָ [3] Dechi
מִדֶּ֣רֶךְ רָ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
מֵ֝אִ֗ישׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מְדַבֵּ֥ר תַּהְפֻּכֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 to deliver you [3]
from the way of evil; [2]
 
from those [2]
speaking perverse things, [1]
13 הַ֭עֹ֣זְבִים [3] Dechi
אׇרְח֣וֹת יֹ֑שֶׁר [2] Etnachta
 
לָ֝לֶ֗כֶת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּדַרְכֵי־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 who forsake [3]
paths of uprightness; [2]
 
to walk [2]
in ways of darkness, [1]
14 הַ֭שְּׂמֵחִים [3] Dechi
לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת רָ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּֽתַהְפֻּכ֥וֹת רָֽע׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 who rejoice [3]
to do evil; [2]
 
they delight [2]
in the perverseness of evil, [1]
15 אֲשֶׁ֣ר אׇרְחֹתֵיהֶ֣ם [3] VDechi
עִקְּשִׁ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝נְלוֹזִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּמַעְגְּלוֹתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 whose paths [3]
are crooked; [2]
 
and who are devious [2]
in their ways, [1]
16 לְ֭הַצִּ֣ילְךָ [3] Dechi
מֵאִשָּׁ֣ה זָרָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
מִ֝נׇּכְרִיָּ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֲמָרֶ֥יהָ הֶחֱלִֽיקָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 to deliver you [3]
from a strange woman; [2]
 
from a seductress [2]
who flatters with her words, [1]
17 הַֽ֭עֹזֶבֶת [3] Dechi
אַלּ֣וּף נְעוּרֶ֑יהָ [2] Etnachta
 
וְאֶת־בְּרִ֖ית אֱלֹהֶ֣יהָ [2] VRevMug
שָׁכֵֽחָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 who forsakes [3]
the companion of her youth; [2]
 
and the covenant of her God [2]
she forgets, [1]
18 כִּ֤י שָׁ֣חָה אֶל־מָ֣וֶת [3] VDechi
בֵּיתָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְאֶל־רְ֝פָאִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מַעְגְּלֹתֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 for it leads down to death, [3]
her house; [2]
 
and to the departed spirits, [2]
her paths. [1]
19 כׇּל־בָּ֭אֶיהָ [3] Dechi
לֹ֣א יְשׁוּב֑וּן [2] Etnachta
 
וְלֹֽא־יַ֝שִּׂ֗יגוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אׇרְח֥וֹת חַיִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 All who go to her, [3]
they never come back; [2]
 
and they don't reach [2]
the paths of life. [1]
20 לְמַ֗עַן [3] Revi'i
תֵּ֭לֵךְ [3] Dechi
בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ טוֹבִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְאׇרְח֖וֹת צַדִּיקִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תִּשְׁמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 20 That [3]
you may walk [3]
in the way of the good; [2]
 
and the paths of the righteous [2]
you will keep. [1]
21 כִּֽי־יְשָׁרִ֥ים יִשְׁכְּנוּ־אָ֑רֶץ [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝תְמִימִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִוָּ֥תְרוּ בָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 21 For the upright will dwell in the land; [2]
 
and the blameless, [2]
they will remain in it. [1]
22 וּ֭רְשָׁעִים [3] Dechi
מֵאֶ֣רֶץ יִכָּרֵ֑תוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בוֹגְדִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִסְּח֥וּ מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ [1] Silluq
פ		 2 3 2 22 But the wicked, [3]
from the land they will be cut off; [2]
 
and the treacherous [2]
will be uprooted from it. [1]
