1 דִּ֭בְרֵי [3] Dechi
לְמוּאֵ֣ל מֶ֑לֶךְ [2] Etnachta
 
מַ֝שָּׂ֗א [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֲֽשֶׁר־יִסְּרַ֥תּוּ אִמּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 The words [3]
of Lemuel the king; [2]
 
a revelation [2]
which his mother taught him. [1]
2 מַה־בְּ֭רִי [3] Dechi
וּמַֽה־בַּר־בִּטְנִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝מֶ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּר־נְדָרָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 “What, my son, [3]
and what, son of my womb; [2]
 
and what, [2]
son of my vows? [1]
3 אַל־תִּתֵּ֣ן לַנָּשִׁ֣ים [3] VDechi
חֵילֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝דְרָכֶ֗יךָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לַֽמְח֥וֹת מְלָכִֽין׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 Do not give to women [3]
your strength; [2]
 
or your ways [2]
to that which ruins kings. [1]
4 אַ֤ל לַֽמְלָכִ֨ים ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
לְֽמוֹאֵ֗ל [3] Revi'i
 
אַ֣ל לַֽמְלָכִ֣ים [3] VDechi
שְׁתוֹ־יָ֑יִן [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝לְרוֹזְנִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
*או **אֵ֣י שֵׁכָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 4 It is not for kings [4]
O Lemuel, [3]
 
it is not for kings [3]
to drink wine; [2]
 
or for rulers [2]
‘Where is strong drink?’ [1]
5 פֶּן־יִ֭שְׁתֶּה [3] Dechi
וְיִשְׁכַּ֣ח מְחֻקָּ֑ק [2] Etnachta
 
וִ֝ישַׁנֶּ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
דִּ֣ין כׇּל־בְּנֵי־עֹֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 lest he should drink [3]
and forget what is decreed; [2]
 
and pervert [2]
the justice due to all who are afflicted. [1]
6 תְּנוּ־שֵׁכָ֣ר לְאוֹבֵ֑ד [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝יַ֗יִן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְמָ֣רֵי נָֽפֶשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 6 Give strong drink to the perishing; [2]
 
and wine [2]
to the bitter of soul. [1]
7 יִ֭שְׁתֶּה [3] Dechi
וְיִשְׁכַּ֣ח רִישׁ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝עֲמָל֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א יִזְכׇּר־עֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq

2 3 2 7 Let him drink [3]
and forget his poverty; [2]
 
and his misery [2]
remember no more. [1]
8 פְּתַח־פִּ֥יךָ לְאִלֵּ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
אֶל־דִּ֝֗ין [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־בְּנֵ֥י חֲלֽוֹף׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 8 Open your mouth for the mute; [2]
 
for the rights [2]
of all who are left desolate. [1]
9 פְּתַח־פִּ֥יךָ שְׁפׇט־צֶ֑דֶק [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝דִ֗ין [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עָנִ֥י וְאֶבְיֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq

2 2 9 Open your mouth, judge righteously; [2]
 
and plead the cause of [2]
the poor and needy.” [1]
10 אֵֽשֶׁת־חַ֭יִל [3] Dechi
מִ֣י יִמְצָ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
וְרָחֹ֖ק מִפְּנִינִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
מִכְרָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 A worthy woman, [3]
who can find? [2]
 
Far more than rubies [2]
is her value. [1]
11 בָּ֣טַח בָּ֭הּ [3] Dechi
לֵ֣ב בַּעְלָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝שָׁלָ֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א יֶחְסָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 It trusts in her, [3]
the heart of her husband; [2]
 
and gain [2]
he doesn't lack. [1]
12 גְּמָלַ֣תְהוּ ט֣וֹב [3] VDechi
וְלֹא־רָ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
כֹּ֝֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְמֵ֣י חַיֶּֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 She does to him good [3]
and not harm; [2]
 
all [2]
the days of her life. [1]
13 דָּ֭רְשָׁה [3] Dechi
צֶ֣מֶר וּפִשְׁתִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝תַּ֗עַשׂ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּחֵ֣פֶץ כַּפֶּֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 She seeks [3]
wool and flax; [2]
 
and she works [2]
eagerly with her hands. [1]
14 הָ֭יְתָה [3] Dechi
כׇּאֳנִיּ֣וֹת סוֹחֵ֑ר [2] Etnachta
 
מִ֝מֶּרְחָ֗ק [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תָּבִ֥יא לַחְמָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 She [3]
is like the merchant ships; [2]
 
from afar [2]
she brings her food. [1]
15 וַתָּ֤קׇם ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
בְּע֬וֹד לַ֗יְלָה [3] Revi'i
 
וַתִּתֵּ֣ן טֶ֣רֶף [3] VDechi
לְבֵיתָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝חֹ֗ק [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְנַעֲרֹתֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 15 And she rises [4]
while it is yet night [3]
 
and gives food [3]
to her household; [2]
 
and a portion [2]
to her servant girls. [1]
16 זָֽמְמָ֣ה שָׂ֭דֶה [3] Dechi
וַתִּקָּחֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta
 
מִפְּרִ֥י כַ֝פֶּ֗יהָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
*נטע **נָ֣טְעָה כָּֽרֶם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 She considers a field [3]
and she buys it; [2]
 
from the fruit of her hands [2]
she plants a vineyard. [1]
17 חָֽגְרָ֣ה בְע֣וֹז [3] VDechi
מׇתְנֶ֑יהָ [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝תְּאַמֵּ֗ץ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
זְרוֹעֹתֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 She girds with strength [3]
her waist; [2]
 
and she makes strong [2]
her arms. [1]
18 טָ֭עֲמָה [3] Dechi
כִּי־ט֣וֹב סַחְרָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta
 
לֹא־יִכְבֶּ֖ה *בליל **בַלַּ֣יְלָה [2] VRevMug
נֵרָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 She sees [3]
that her business is good; [2]
 
it doesn’t go out at night, [2]
her lamp. [1]
19 יָ֭דֶיהָ [3] Dechi
שִׁלְּחָ֣ה בַכִּישׁ֑וֹר [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝כַפֶּ֗יהָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תָּ֣מְכוּ פָֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 Her hands [3]
she stretches out for the distaff; [2]
 
and her palms, [2]
they grasp the spindle. [1]
20 כַּ֭פָּהּ [3] Dechi
פָּֽרְשָׂ֣ה לֶעָנִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝יָדֶ֗יהָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שִׁלְּחָ֥ה לָאֶבְיֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 20 Her palm [3]
she opens to the poor; [2]
 
and her hands [2]
she stretches out to the needy. [1]
21 לֹא־תִירָ֣א לְבֵיתָ֣הּ [3] VDechi
מִשָּׁ֑לֶג [2] Etnachta
 
כִּ֥י כׇל־בֵּ֝יתָ֗הּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לָבֻ֥שׁ שָׁנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 21 She is not afraid for her household [3]
from snow; [2]
 
for all her household [2]
is clothed with scarlet. [1]
22 מַרְבַדִּ֥ים עָֽשְׂתָה־לָּ֑הּ [2] Etnachta
 
שֵׁ֖שׁ וְאַרְגָּמָ֣ן [2] VRevMug
לְבוּשָֽׁהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 22 Beautiful coverings she makes for herself; [2]
 
fine linen and purple [2]
is her clothing. [1]
23 נוֹדָ֣ע בַּשְּׁעָרִ֣ים [3] VDechi
בַּעְלָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta
 
בְּ֝שִׁבְתּ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עִם־זִקְנֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 23 Known in the gates [3]
is her husband; [2]
 
when he sits [2]
with the elders of the land. [1]
24 סָדִ֣ין עָ֭שְׂתָה [3] Dechi
וַתִּמְכֹּ֑ר [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝חֲג֗וֹר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נָתְנָ֥ה לַֽכְּנַעֲנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 24 Linen garments she makes [3]
and she sells; [2]
 
and sashes [2]
she supplies to the merchant. [1]
25 עֹז־וְהָדָ֥ר לְבוּשָׁ֑הּ [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝תִּשְׂחַ֗ק [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְי֣וֹם אַחֲרֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 25 Strength and dignity are her clothing; [2]
 
and she laughs [2]
at the days to come. [1]
26 פִּ֭יהָ [3] Dechi
פָּתְחָ֣ה בְחׇכְמָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְת֥וֹרַת חֶ֝֗סֶד [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־לְשׁוֹנָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 26 Her mouth [3]
she opens with wisdom; [2]
 
and gentle instruction [2]
is on her tongue. [1]
27 צ֭וֹפִיָּה [3] Dechi
*הילכות **הֲלִיכ֣וֹת בֵּיתָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְלֶ֥חֶם עַ֝צְל֗וּת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א תֹאכֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 27 She watches over [3]
the affairs of her household; [2]
 
and the bread of idleness [2]
she doesn’t eat. [1]
28 קָ֣מוּ בָ֭נֶיהָ [3] Dechi
וַֽיְאַשְּׁר֑וּהָ [2] Etnachta
 
בַּ֝עְלָ֗הּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וַֽיְהַלְלָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 28 Her children rise up [3]
and they call her blessed; [2]
 
her husband, [2]
he also praises her, [1]
29 רַבּ֣וֹת בָּ֭נוֹת [3] Dechi
עָ֣שׂוּ חָ֑יִל [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝אַ֗תְּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עָלִ֥ית עַל־כֻּלָּֽנָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 29 “Many daughters, [3]
they have done excellently; [2]
 
but you, [2]
you excel them all.” [1]
30 שֶׁ֣קֶר הַ֭חֵן [3] Dechi
וְהֶ֣בֶל הַיֹּ֑פִי [2] Etnachta
 
אִשָּׁ֥ה יִרְאַת־יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הִ֣יא תִתְהַלָּֽל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 30 Charm is deceitful, [3]
and beauty is vain. [2]
 
A woman who fears the LORD - [2]
she, she will be praised. [1]
31 תְּנוּ־לָ֭הּ [3] Dechi
מִפְּרִ֣י יָדֶ֑יהָ [2] Etnachta
 
וִיהַלְל֖וּהָ בַשְּׁעָרִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
מַֽעֲשֶֽׂיהָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 31 Give to her [3]
of the fruit of her hands; [2]
 
and let them be her praise in the gates, [2]
her works. [1]
