1 דִּ֭בְרֵי [3] Dechi לְמוּאֵ֣ל מֶ֑לֶךְ [2] Etnachta אֲֽשֶׁר־יִסְּרַ֥תּוּ אִמּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
1 The words [3] of Lemuel the king; [2] which his mother taught him. [1] |

2 מַה־בְּ֭רִי [3] Dechi וּמַֽה־בַּר־בִּטְנִ֑י [2] Etnachta בַּר־נְדָרָֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
2 “What, my son, [3] and what, son of my womb; [2] son of my vows? [1] |

3 אַל־תִּתֵּ֣ן לַנָּשִׁ֣ים [3] VDechi חֵילֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta לַֽמְח֥וֹת מְלָכִֽין׃ [1] Silluq |
3 Do not give to women [3] your strength; [2] to that which ruins kings. [1] |

4 אַ֤ל לַֽמְלָכִ֨ים ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh לְֽמוֹאֵ֗ל [3] Revi'i שְׁתוֹ־יָ֑יִן [2] Etnachta *או **אֵ֣י שֵׁכָֽר׃ [1] Silluq |
4 It is not for kings [4] O Lemuel, [3] to drink wine; [2] ‘Where is strong drink?’ [1] |

5 פֶּן־יִ֭שְׁתֶּה [3] Dechi וְיִשְׁכַּ֣ח מְחֻקָּ֑ק [2] Etnachta דִּ֣ין כׇּל־בְּנֵי־עֹֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq |
5 lest he should drink [3] and forget what is decreed; [2] the justice due to all who are afflicted. [1] |

6 תְּנוּ־שֵׁכָ֣ר לְאוֹבֵ֑ד [2] Etnachta לְמָ֣רֵי נָֽפֶשׁ׃ [1] Silluq |
6 Give strong drink to the perishing; [2] to the bitter of soul. [1] |

7 יִ֭שְׁתֶּה [3] Dechi וְיִשְׁכַּ֣ח רִישׁ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta לֹ֣א יִזְכׇּר־עֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq פ |
7 Let him drink [3] and forget his poverty; [2] remember no more. [1] ¶ |

8 פְּתַח־פִּ֥יךָ לְאִלֵּ֑ם [2] Etnachta כׇּל־בְּנֵ֥י חֲלֽוֹף׃ [1] Silluq |
8 Open your mouth for the mute; [2] of all who are left desolate. [1] |

9 פְּתַח־פִּ֥יךָ שְׁפׇט־צֶ֑דֶק [2] Etnachta עָנִ֥י וְאֶבְיֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq פ |
9 Open your mouth, judge righteously; [2] the poor and needy.” [1] ¶ |

10 אֵֽשֶׁת־חַ֭יִל [3] Dechi מִ֣י יִמְצָ֑א [2] Etnachta מִכְרָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
10 A worthy woman, [3] who can find? [2] is her value. [1] |

11 בָּ֣טַח בָּ֭הּ [3] Dechi לֵ֣ב בַּעְלָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta לֹ֣א יֶחְסָֽר׃ [1] Silluq |
11 It trusts in her, [3] the heart of her husband; [2] he doesn't lack. [1] |

12 גְּמָלַ֣תְהוּ ט֣וֹב [3] VDechi וְלֹא־רָ֑ע [2] Etnachta יְמֵ֣י חַיֶּֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq |
12 She does to him good [3] and not harm; [2] the days of her life. [1] |

13 דָּ֭רְשָׁה [3] Dechi צֶ֣מֶר וּפִשְׁתִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta בְּחֵ֣פֶץ כַּפֶּֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq |
13 She seeks [3] wool and flax; [2] eagerly with her hands. [1] |

14 הָ֭יְתָה [3] Dechi כׇּאֳנִיּ֣וֹת סוֹחֵ֑ר [2] Etnachta תָּבִ֥יא לַחְמָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
14 She [3] is like the merchant ships; [2] she brings her food. [1] |

15 וַתָּ֤קׇם ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh בְּע֬וֹד לַ֗יְלָה [3] Revi'i לְבֵיתָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta לְנַעֲרֹתֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq |
15 And she rises [4] while it is yet night [3] to her household; [2] to her servant girls. [1] |

16 זָֽמְמָ֣ה שָׂ֭דֶה [3] Dechi וַתִּקָּחֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta *נטע **נָ֣טְעָה כָּֽרֶם׃ [1] Silluq |
16 She considers a field [3] and she buys it; [2] she plants a vineyard. [1] |

17 חָֽגְרָ֣ה בְע֣וֹז [3] VDechi מׇתְנֶ֑יהָ [2] Etnachta זְרוֹעֹתֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq |
17 She girds with strength [3] her waist; [2] her arms. [1] |

18 טָ֭עֲמָה [3] Dechi כִּי־ט֣וֹב סַחְרָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta נֵרָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
18 She sees [3] that her business is good; [2] her lamp. [1] |
|||
19 יָ֭דֶיהָ [3] Dechi שִׁלְּחָ֣ה בַכִּישׁ֑וֹר [2] Etnachta תָּ֣מְכוּ פָֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq |
19 Her hands [3] she stretches out for the distaff; [2] they grasp the spindle. [1] |

20 כַּ֭פָּהּ [3] Dechi פָּֽרְשָׂ֣ה לֶעָנִ֑י [2] Etnachta שִׁלְּחָ֥ה לָאֶבְיֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq |
20 Her palm [3] she opens to the poor; [2] she stretches out to the needy. [1] |

21 לֹא־תִירָ֣א לְבֵיתָ֣הּ [3] VDechi מִשָּׁ֑לֶג [2] Etnachta לָבֻ֥שׁ שָׁנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
21 She is not afraid for her household [3] from snow; [2] is clothed with scarlet. [1] |

22 מַרְבַדִּ֥ים עָֽשְׂתָה־לָּ֑הּ [2] Etnachta לְבוּשָֽׁהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
22 Beautiful coverings she makes for herself; [2] is her clothing. [1] |

23 נוֹדָ֣ע בַּשְּׁעָרִ֣ים [3] VDechi בַּעְלָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta עִם־זִקְנֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
23 Known in the gates [3] is her husband; [2] with the elders of the land. [1] |

24 סָדִ֣ין עָ֭שְׂתָה [3] Dechi וַתִּמְכֹּ֑ר [2] Etnachta נָתְנָ֥ה לַֽכְּנַעֲנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
24 Linen garments she makes [3] and she sells; [2] she supplies to the merchant. [1] |

25 עֹז־וְהָדָ֥ר לְבוּשָׁ֑הּ [2] Etnachta לְי֣וֹם אַחֲרֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq |
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing; [2] at the days to come. [1] |

26 פִּ֭יהָ [3] Dechi פָּתְחָ֣ה בְחׇכְמָ֑ה [2] Etnachta עַל־לְשׁוֹנָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
26 Her mouth [3] she opens with wisdom; [2] is on her tongue. [1] |

27 צ֭וֹפִיָּה [3] Dechi *הילכות **הֲלִיכ֣וֹת בֵּיתָ֑הּ [2] Etnachta לֹ֣א תֹאכֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq |
27 She watches over [3] the affairs of her household; [2] she doesn’t eat. [1] |

28 קָ֣מוּ בָ֭נֶיהָ [3] Dechi וַֽיְאַשְּׁר֑וּהָ [2] Etnachta וַֽיְהַלְלָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
28 Her children rise up [3] and they call her blessed; [2] he also praises her, [1] |

29 רַבּ֣וֹת בָּ֭נוֹת [3] Dechi עָ֣שׂוּ חָ֑יִל [2] Etnachta עָלִ֥ית עַל־כֻּלָּֽנָה׃ [1] Silluq |
29 “Many daughters, [3] they have done excellently; [2] you excel them all.” [1] |

30 שֶׁ֣קֶר הַ֭חֵן [3] Dechi וְהֶ֣בֶל הַיֹּ֑פִי [2] Etnachta הִ֣יא תִתְהַלָּֽל׃ [1] Silluq |
30 Charm is deceitful, [3] and beauty is vain. [2] she, she will be praised. [1] |
