וַתֵּדָֽע׃ [1] Silluq

A Psalm of David. [2]
 
1 O LORD, you have searched me [2]
and you know me. [1]
2 אַתָּ֣ה יָ֭דַעְתָּ [3] Dechi
שִׁבְתִּ֣י וְקוּמִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
בַּ֥נְתָּה לְ֝רֵעִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מֵרָחֽוֹק׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 You, you know [3]
my sitting and my rising up; [2]
 
you understand my thoughts [2]
from afar. [1]
3 אׇרְחִ֣י וְרִבְעִ֣י [3] VDechi
זֵרִ֑יתָ [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽכׇל־דְּרָכַ֥י הִסְכַּֽנְתָּה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 My path and my lying down [3]
you search out; [2]
 
and you are acquainted with all my ways. [1]
4 כִּ֤י אֵ֣ין מִ֭לָּה [3] Dechi
בִּלְשׁוֹנִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
הֵ֥ן יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָדַ֥עְתָּ כֻלָּֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 For there is not a word [3]
on my tongue; [2]
 
but behold O LORD, [2]
you know all of it. [1]
5 אָח֣וֹר וָקֶ֣דֶם [3] VDechi
צַרְתָּ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
וַתָּ֖שֶׁת עָלַ֣י [2] VRevMug
כַּפֶּֽכָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 Behind and before, [3]
you enclose me; [2]
 
and you have laid on me [2]
your hand. [1]
6 *פלאיה **פְּלִ֣יאָֽה דַ֣עַת [3] VDechi
מִמֶּ֑נִּי [2] Etnachta
 
נִ֝שְׂגְּבָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹא־א֥וּכַֽל לָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 This knowledge is too wonderful [3]
for me; [2]
 
it is set on high, [2]
I can’t reach it. [1]
7 אָ֭נָ֥ה [3] Dechi
אֵלֵ֣ךְ מֵרוּחֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝אָ֗נָה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִפָּנֶ֥יךָ אֶבְרָֽח׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 Where [3]
could I go from your Spirit; [2]
 
or where [2]
could I flee from your presence? [1]
8 אִם־אֶסַּ֣ק שָׁ֭מַיִם [3] Dechi
שָׁ֣ם אָ֑תָּה [2] Etnachta
 
וְאַצִּ֖יעָה שְּׁא֣וֹל [2] VRevMug
הִנֶּֽךָּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 If I ascend into the heavens, [3]
you are there; [2]
 
and if I make my bed in Sheol, [2]
behold, you are there! [1]
9 אֶשָּׂ֥א כַנְפֵי־שָׁ֑חַר [2] Etnachta
 
אֶ֝שְׁכְּנָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית יָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 9 If I take the wings of the dawn; [2]
 
and dwell [2]
in the uttermost parts of the sea, [1]
10 גַּם־שָׁ֭ם [3] Dechi
יָדְךָ֣ תַנְחֵ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽתֹאחֲזֵ֥נִי יְמִינֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 10 even there [3]
your hand will lead me; [2]
 
and your right hand will take hold of me. [1]
11 וָ֭אֹמַר [3] Dechi
אַךְ־חֹ֣שֶׁךְ יְשׁוּפֵ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝לַ֗יְלָה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
א֣וֹר בַּעֲדֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 If I say, [3]
“Surely the darkness will overwhelm me; [2]
 
and night, [2]
the light around me will be,” [1]
12 גַּם־חֹשֶׁךְ֮ [3] Sinnor
לֹא־יַחְשִׁ֢יךְ מִ֫מֶּ֥ךָּ [2] Ole Veyored
 
וְ֭לַיְלָה [3] Dechi
כַּיּ֣וֹם יָאִ֑יר [2] Etnachta
 
כַּ֝חֲשֵׁיכָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כָּאוֹרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 2 12 even the darkness [3]
isn't dark for you; [2]
 
and the night [3]
shines like the day, [2]
 
as is the darkness, [2]
so is the light. [1]
13 כִּֽי־אַ֭תָּה [3] Dechi
קָנִ֣יתָ כִלְיֹתָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
תְּ֝סֻכֵּ֗נִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּבֶ֣טֶן אִמִּֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 For you, [3]
you formed my inmost being; [2]
 
you knit me together [2]
in my mother’s womb. [1]
14 אוֹדְךָ֗ [3] Revi'i
עַ֤ל כִּ֥י נֽוֹרָא֗וֹת [3] Revi'i
נִ֫פְלֵ֥יתִי [2] Ole Veyored
 
נִפְלָאִ֥ים מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ [2] Etnachta
וְ֝נַפְשִׁ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יֹדַ֥עַת מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 2 14 I will give thanks to you, [3]
for awesomely, [3]
I am wonderfully made; [2]
 
wonderful are your works, [2]
and my soul [2]
knows very well. [1]
15 לֹֽא־נִכְחַ֥ד עׇצְמִ֗י [3] Revi'i
מִ֫מֶּ֥ךָּ [2] Ole Veyored
 
אֲשֶׁר־עֻשֵּׂ֥יתִי בַסֵּ֑תֶר [2] Etnachta
רֻ֝קַּ֗מְתִּי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּֽתַחְתִּיּ֥וֹת אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 15 My frame wasn’t hidden [3]
from you; [2]
 
when I was made in the secret place, [2]
(when) I was formed [2]
in the depths of the earth. [1]
16 גׇּלְמִ֤י ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
רָ֘א֤וּ עֵינֶ֗יךָ [3] Revi'i
 
וְעַֽל־סִפְרְךָ֮ [3] Sinnor
כֻּלָּ֢ם יִכָּ֫תֵ֥בוּ [2] Ole Veyored
 
יָמִ֥ים יֻצָּ֑רוּ [2] Etnachta
*ולא **וְל֖וֹ אֶחָ֣ד [2] VRevMug
בָּהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 2 16 My shapeless form, [4]
your eyes saw, [3]
 
and on your scroll [3]
they were all written; [2]
 
the days that were ordained [2]
when not yet was one [2]
of them. [1]
17 וְלִ֗י [3] Revi'i
מַה־יָּקְר֣וּ רֵעֶ֣יךָ [3] VDechi
אֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta
 
מֶ֥ה עָ֝צְמ֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
רָאשֵׁיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 17 And to me [3]
how precious are your thoughts [3]
O God; [2]
 
how vast [2]
is their sum! [1]
18 אֶ֭סְפְּרֵם [3] Dechi
מֵח֣וֹל יִרְבּ֑וּן [2] Etnachta
 
הֱ֝קִיצֹ֗תִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְעוֹדִ֥י עִמָּֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 Were I to count them, [3]
they would be more numerous than the sand; [2]
 
when I awake, [2]
I am still with you. [1]
19 אִם־תִּקְטֹ֖ל אֱל֥וֹהַּ ׀ רָשָׁ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
וְאַנְשֵׁ֥י דָ֝מִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
ס֣וּרוּ מֶֽנִּי׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 19 If only you would kill the wicked O God; [2]
 
O bloodthirsty men, [2]
depart from me, [1]
20 אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֹ֭מְרוּךָ [3] Dechi
לִמְזִמָּ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
נָשׂ֖וּא לַשָּׁ֣וְא [2] VRevMug
עָרֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 20 who speak of you [3]
maliciously; [2]
 
they lift up to falsehood, [2]
your enemies. [1]
21 הֲלֽוֹא־מְשַׂנְאֶ֖יךָ יְהֹוָ֥ה ׀ אֶשְׂנָ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בִתְקוֹמְמֶ֗יךָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶתְקוֹטָֽט׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 21 Do I not hate those who hate you O LORD; [2]
 
and at those who rebel against you [2]
am I not grieved? [1]
22 תַּכְלִ֣ית שִׂנְאָ֣ה [3] VDechi
שְׂנֵאתִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
לְ֝אוֹיְבִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הָ֣יוּ לִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 With complete hatred [3]
I hate them; [2]
 
enemies [2]
they have become to me. [1]
23 חׇקְרֵ֣נִי אֵ֭ל [3] Dechi
וְדַ֣ע לְבָבִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
בְּ֝חָנֵ֗נִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְדַ֣ע שַׂרְעַפָּֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 23 Search me O God, [3]
and know my heart; [2]
 
test me [2]
and know my troubled thoughts. [1]
24 וּרְאֵ֗ה [3] Revi'i
אִם־דֶּֽרֶךְ־עֹ֥צֶב בִּ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝נְחֵ֗נִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ עוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
פ		 2 3 2 24 And see [3]
if there is any wicked way in me; [2]
 
and lead me [2]
in the everlasting way. [1]
