2 חַלְּצֵ֣נִי יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
מֵֽאָדָ֣ם רָ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
מֵאִ֖ישׁ חֲמָסִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תִּנְצְרֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 Rescue me O LORD [3]
from an evil man; [2]
 
from a man of violence, [2]
preserve me. [1]
3 אֲשֶׁ֤ר חָשְׁב֣וּ רָע֣וֹת [3] VDechi
בְּלֵ֑ב [2] Etnachta
 
כׇּל־י֝֗וֹם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָג֥וּרוּ מִלְחָמֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 Those who devise evil things [3]
in the heart; [2]
 
every day [2]
they stir up trouble for war. [1]
4 שָׁ֥נְנ֣וּ לְשׁוֹנָם֮ [3] Sinnor
כְּֽמוֹ־נָ֫חָ֥שׁ [2] Ole Veyored
 
חֲמַ֥ת עַכְשׁ֑וּב [2] Etnachta
תַּ֖חַת שְׂפָתֵ֣ימוֹ [2] VRevMug
סֶֽלָה׃ [1] Silluq

like a serpent; [2]
 
venom of a viper [2]
is under their lips. [2]

תִּנְצְרֵ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָ֝שְׁב֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לִדְח֥וֹת פְּעָמָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

from the hands of the wicked, [3]
 
from a man of violence [3]
preserve me; [2]
 
those who have planned [2]
to trip me up. [1]

פָּ֣רְשׂוּ רֶ֭שֶׁת [3] Dechi

מֹקְשִׁ֖ים שָׁתוּ־לִ֣י [2] VRevMug
סֶֽלָה׃ [1] Silluq

a trap [4]
for me, [3]
 
and with cords [3]
they have spread a net [3]
by the path; [2]
 
they have set snares for me. [2]

ק֣וֹל תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

“You are my God.” [2]
 
Give ear O LORD to [2]
the voice of my petitions. [1]
8 יֱהֹוִ֣ה אֲ֭דֹנָי [3] Dechi
עֹ֣ז יְשׁוּעָתִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
סַכֹּ֥תָה לְ֝רֹאשִׁ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּי֣וֹם נָֽשֶׁק׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 O GOD my Lord, [3]
the strength of my salvation; [2]
 
you cover my head [2]
in the day of battle. [1]
9 אַל־תִּתֵּ֣ן יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
מַאֲוַיֵּ֣י רָשָׁ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
זְמָמ֥וֹ אַל־תָּ֝פֵ֗ק [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָר֥וּמוּ סֶֽלָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 Grant not O LORD [3]
the desires of the wicked; [2]
 
don’t let his plan be accomplished, [2]
(and) they be exalted. Selah. [1]
10 רֹ֥אשׁ מְסִבָּ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
עֲמַ֖ל שְׂפָתֵ֣ימוֹ [2] VRevMug
*יכסומו **יְכַסֵּֽימוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 9 The head of those who surround me; [2]
 
the mischief of their lips, [2]
let it overwhelm them. [1]
11 *ימיטו **יִמּ֥וֹטוּ עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם [3] Revi'i
גֶּחָ֫לִ֥ים [2] Ole Veyored
 
בָּאֵ֥שׁ יַפִּלֵ֑ם [2] Etnachta
בְּ֝מַהֲמֹר֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּל־יָקֽוּמוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 10 May it be dropped on them, [3]
burning coals; [2]
 
Let them be cast into the fire, [2]
into pits [2]
from which they won't rise. [1]
12 אִ֥ישׁ לָשׁוֹן֮ [3] Sinnor
בַּל־יִכּ֢וֹן בָּ֫אָ֥רֶץ [2] Ole Veyored
 
אִישׁ־חָמָ֥ס רָ֑ע [2] Etnachta
יְ֝צוּדֶ֗נּוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְמַדְחֵפֹֽת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 11 A slanderer, [3]
don’t let him be established in the land; [2]
 
a person of evil violence, [2]
let it hunt him down [2]
to overthrow him. [1]
13 *ידעת **יָדַ֗עְתִּי [3] Revi'i
כִּֽי־יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
דִּ֣ין עָנִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
מִ֝שְׁפַּ֗ט [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶבְיֹנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 12 I know [3]
that the LORD will maintain [3]
the cause of the afflicted; [2]
 
justice [2]
for the needy. [1]
14 אַ֣ךְ צַ֭דִּיקִים [3] Dechi
יוֹד֣וּ לִשְׁמֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
יֵשְׁב֥וּ יְ֝שָׁרִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶת־פָּנֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
פ		 2 3 2 13 Surely the righteous, [3]
they will give thanks to your name; [2]
 
the upright will dwell [2]
in your presence. [1]
