1a מִכְתָּ֥ם לְדָוִ֑ד [2] Etnachta
 
1b שׇֽׁמְרֵ֥נִי אֵ֝֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כִּֽי־חָסִ֥יתִי בָֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 A miktam of David; [2]
 
1 Preserve me O God, [2]
for I take refuge in you. [1]
2 אָמַ֣רְתְּ לַֽ֭יהֹוָה [3] Dechi
אֲדֹנָ֣י אָ֑תָּה [2] Etnachta
 
ט֝וֹבָתִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּל־עָלֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 You (my soul) said to the LORD, [3]
“My Lord you are; [2]
 
my well-being [2]
is from none but you, [1]
3 לִ֭קְדוֹשִׁים [3] Dechi
אֲשֶׁר־בָּאָ֣רֶץ הֵ֑מָּה [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝אַדִּירֵ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־חֶפְצִי־בָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 by the holy ones, [3]
who in the land are they; [2]
 
the noble ones [2]
in whom is all my delight. [1]
4 יִרְבּ֥וּ עַצְּבוֹתָם֮ [3] Sinnor
אַחֵ֢ר מָ֫הָ֥רוּ [2] Ole Veyored
 
בַּל־אַסִּ֣יךְ נִסְכֵּיהֶ֣ם [3] VDechi
מִדָּ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
וּֽבַל־אֶשָּׂ֥א אֶת־שְׁ֝מוֹתָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־שְׂפָתָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 2 4 They will increase their sorrows, [3]
those who have acquired another (god); [2]
 
I will not pour out their drink offerings [3]
of blood, [2]
 
and I will not take their names [2]
on my lips. [1]
5 יְֽהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
מְנָת־חֶלְקִ֥י וְכוֹסִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
אַ֝תָּ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תּוֹמִ֥יךְ גּוֹרָלִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 The LORD [3]
has assigned my portion and my cup; [2]
 
it's you [2]
who holds my destiny. [1]
6 חֲבָלִ֣ים נָֽפְלוּ־לִ֭י [3] Dechi
בַּנְּעִמִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
אַף־נַ֝חֲלָ֗ת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שָֽׁפְרָ֥ה עָלָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 The boundary lines have fallen for me [3]
in pleasant places; [2]
 
(my) inheritance [2]
is pleasing to me.” [1]
7 אֲבָרֵ֗ךְ [3] Revi'i
אֶת־יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְעָצָ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
אַף־לֵ֝יל֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִסְּר֥וּנִי כִלְיוֹתָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 7 I will bless [3]
the LORD [3]
who counsels me; [2]
 
even in the night [2]
my heart instructs me. [1]
8 שִׁוִּ֬יתִי יְהֹוָ֣ה לְנֶגְדִּ֣י [3] VDechi
תָמִ֑יד [2] Etnachta
 
כִּ֥י מִֽ֝ימִינִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּל־אֶמּֽוֹט׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 I have placed the LORD before me [3]
continually; [2]
 
because he is at my right hand, [2]
I will not be shaken. [1]
9 לָכֵ֤ן ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
שָׂמַ֣ח לִ֭בִּי [3] Dechi
וַיָּ֣גֶל כְּבוֹדִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
אַף־בְּ֝שָׂרִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִשְׁכֹּ֥ן לָבֶֽטַח׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 9 Therefore [4]
my heart is glad, [3]
and my soul rejoices; [2]
 
my body also, [2]
it will dwell in safety. [1]
10 כִּ֤י ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
לֹא־תַעֲזֹ֣ב נַפְשִׁ֣י [3] VDechi
לִשְׁא֑וֹל [2] Etnachta
 
לֹֽא־תִתֵּ֥ן חֲ֝סִידְךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לִרְא֥וֹת שָֽׁחַת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 10 For [4]
you will not abandon my life [3]
to Sheol; [2]
 
you will not allow your faithful one [2]
to see the pit. [1]
11 תּֽוֹדִיעֵנִי֮ [3] Sinnor
אֹ֤רַח חַ֫יִּ֥ים [2] Ole Veyored
 
שֹׂ֣בַע שְׂ֭מָחוֹת [3] Dechi
אֶת־פָּנֶ֑יךָ [2] Etnachta
 
נְעִמ֖וֹת בִּימִינְךָ֣ [2] VRevMug
נֶֽצַח׃ [1] Silluq
פ		 2 3 2 3 2 11 You will show me [3]
the path of life; [2]
 
the fullness of joy [3]
in your presence, [2]
 
pleasures at your right hand [2]
