1 לָ֭מָּה [3] Dechi
רָגְשׁ֣וּ גוֹיִ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝לְאֻמִּ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יֶהְגּוּ־רִֽיק׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 Why [3]
do the nations rage; [2]
 
and the peoples [2]
plot a vain thing? [1]
2 יִ֥תְיַצְּב֨וּ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
מַלְכֵי־אֶ֗רֶץ [3] Revi'i
וְרוֹזְנִ֥ים נֽוֹסְדוּ־יָ֑חַד [2] Etnachta
 
עַל־יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְעַל־מְשִׁיחֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 2 They take their stand, [4]
the kings of the earth, [3]
and the rulers take counsel together; [2]
 
against the LORD [2]
and against his Anointed, [1]
3 נְֽ֭נַתְּקָה [3] Dechi
אֶת־מֽוֹסְרוֹתֵ֑ימוֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְנַשְׁלִ֖יכָה מִמֶּ֣נּוּ [2] VRevMug
עֲבֹתֵֽימוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 “Let us break apart [3]
their bonds; [2]
 
and let us cast off from us [2]
their ropes.” [1]
4 יוֹשֵׁ֣ב בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם [3] VDechi
יִשְׂחָ֑ק [2] Etnachta
 
אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִלְעַג־לָֽמוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 The one who sits in the heavens, [3]
he laughs; [2]
 
the Lord, [2]
he mocks them. [1]
5 אָ֤ז יְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלֵ֣ימוֹ [3] VDechi
בְאַפּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וּֽבַחֲרוֹנ֥וֹ יְבַהֲלֵֽמוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 5 Then he speaks to them [3]
in his anger; [2]
 
and in his fury he terrifies them, [1]
6 וַ֭אֲנִי [3] Dechi
נָסַ֣כְתִּי מַלְכִּ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
עַל־צִ֝יּ֗וֹן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הַר־קׇדְשִֽׁי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 “But I, [3]
I have installed my King; [2]
 
on Zion, [2]
my holy mountain.” [1]
7 אֲסַפְּרָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
אֶֽ֫ל חֹ֥ק [2] Ole Veyored
 
יְֽהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
אָמַ֘ר אֵלַ֥י [3] VDechi
בְּנִ֥י אַ֑תָּה [2] Etnachta
 
אֲ֝נִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הַיּ֥וֹם יְלִדְתִּֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 3 2 7 I will recount [3]
concerning the decree; [2]
 
the LORD, [3]
he said to me, [3]
“You are my son. [2]
 
I, [2]
this day I have begotten you. [1]
8 שְׁאַ֤ל מִמֶּ֗נִּי [3] Revi'i
וְאֶתְּנָ֣ה ג֭וֹיִם [3] Dechi
נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝אֲחֻזָּתְךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַפְסֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 8 Ask of me, [3]
and I will make the nations [3]
your inheritance; [2]
 
and your possession [2]
the ends of the earth. [1]
9 תְּ֭רֹעֵם [3] Dechi
בְּשֵׁ֣בֶט בַּרְזֶ֑ל [2] Etnachta
 
כִּכְלִ֖י יוֹצֵ֣ר [2] VRevMug
תְּנַפְּצֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 You shall break them [3]
with a rod of iron; [2]
 
like a vessel of a potter [2]
you shall shatter them.” [1]
10 וְ֭עַתָּה [3] Dechi
מְלָכִ֣ים הַשְׂכִּ֑ילוּ [2] Etnachta
 
הִ֝וָּסְר֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שֹׁ֣פְטֵי אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 Now therefore [3]
O kings, be wise; [2]
 
let yourselves be instructed [2]
O rulers of the earth. [1]
11 עִבְד֣וּ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה [3] VDechi
בְּיִרְאָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝גִ֗ילוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בִּרְעָדָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 Serve the LORD [3]
with fear; [2]
 
and rejoice [2]
with trembling. [1]
12 נַשְּׁקוּ־בַ֡ר [4] Pazer
פֶּן־יֶאֱנַ֤ף ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
וְתֹ֬אבְדוּ דֶ֗רֶךְ [3] Revi'i
 
כִּֽי־יִבְעַ֣ר כִּמְעַ֣ט [3] VDechi
אַפּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
אַ֝שְׁרֵ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־ח֥וֹסֵי בֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

2 3 4 4 3 2 12 Kiss the Son, [4]
lest he be angry [4]
and you perish on the way, [3]
 
for it will soon be kindled, [3]
his anger. [2]
 
How blessed [2]
are all who seek refuge in him. [1]
