1 לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ [3/2] Revi'i
מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לִבְנֵי־קֹֽרַח׃ [1] Silluq
2 To the choirmaster, [3/2]
a poem, of the sons of Korah. [1]
2 כְּאַיָּ֗ל [3] Revi'i
תַּעֲרֹ֥ג עַל־אֲפִֽיקֵי־מָ֑יִם [2] Etnachta
 
כֵּ֤ן נַפְשִׁ֨י תַעֲרֹ֖ג [2] VRevMug
אֵלֶ֣יךָ אֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 As a deer, [3]
it pants for streams of water; [2]
 
so my soul pants [2]
for you O God. [1]
3 צָמְאָ֬ה נַפְשִׁ֨י ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
לֵאלֹהִים֮ [3] Sinnor
לְאֵ֢ל חָ֥֫י [2] Ole Veyored
 
מָתַ֥י אָב֑וֹא [2] Etnachta
וְ֝אֵרָאֶ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
פְּנֵ֣י אֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

for God, [3]
for the living God; [2]
 
when shall I go [2]
and present myself [2]
before God? [1]
4 הָיְתָה־לִּ֬י דִמְעָתִ֣י לֶ֭חֶם [3] Dechi
יוֹמָ֣ם וָלָ֑יְלָה [2] Etnachta
 
בֶּאֱמֹ֥ר אֵלַ֥י כׇּל־הַ֝יּ֗וֹם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַיֵּ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 My tears have been my food [3]
by day and night; [2]
 
when (they) say to me all the day, [2]
“Where is your God?” [1]
5 אֵ֤לֶּה אֶזְכְּרָ֨ה ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וְאֶשְׁפְּכָ֬ה עָלַ֨י ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
נַפְשִׁ֗י [3] Revi'i
 
כִּ֤י אֶעֱבֹ֨ר ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
בַּסָּךְ֮ [3] Sinnor
 
אֶדַּדֵּ֗ם [3] Revi'i
עַד־בֵּ֥ית אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים [2] Ole Veyored
 
בְּקוֹל־רִנָּ֥ה וְתוֹדָ֗ה [3/2] Revi'i
הָמ֥וֹן חוֹגֵֽג׃ [1] Silluq

and I pour out within me [4]
my soul, [3]
 
how I used to go [4]
with the crowd, [3]
 
I led them [3]
to the house of God; [2]
 
with the sound of a shout of joy and thanksgiving, [3/2]
a multitude celebrating a festival. [1]
6 מַה־תִּשְׁתּ֬וֹחֲחִ֨י ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
נַפְשִׁי֮ [3] Sinnor
וַתֶּהֱמִ֢י עָ֫לָ֥י [2] Ole Veyored
 
הוֹחִ֣לִי לֵ֭אלֹהִים [3] Dechi
כִּי־ע֥וֹד אוֹדֶ֗נּוּ [3/2] Revi'i
יְשׁוּע֥וֹת פָּנָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 3 5 Why are you downcast [4]
O my soul, [3]
and are you disturbed within me? [2]
 
Hope in God [3]
for I shall again give thanks to him, [3/2]
for the saving help of his presence. [1]

עָלַי֮ [3] Sinnor
נַפְשִׁ֢י תִשְׁתּ֫וֹחָ֥ח [2] Ole Veyored
 
עַל־כֵּ֗ן [3] Revi'i
אֶ֭זְכׇּרְךָ [3] Dechi
מֵאֶ֣רֶץ יַרְדֵּ֑ן [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝חֶרְמוֹנִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מֵהַ֥ר מִצְעָֽר׃ [1] Silluq

within me [3]
my soul is downcast; [2]
 
therefore [3]
I will remember you [3]
from the land of the Jordan, [2]
 
and Hermon [2]
from mount Mizar. [1]
8 תְּהוֹם־אֶל־תְּה֣וֹם ק֭וֹרֵא [3] Dechi
לְק֣וֹל צִנּוֹרֶ֑יךָ [2] Etnachta
 
כׇּֽל־מִשְׁבָּרֶ֥יךָ וְ֝גַלֶּ֗יךָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עָלַ֥י עָבָֽרוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 Deep calls to deep [3]
at the sound of your waterfalls; [2]
 
all your breakers and your waves, [2]
they have have swept over me. [1]
9 יוֹמָ֤ם ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
יְצַוֶּ֬ה יְהֹוָ֨ה ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
חַסְדּ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i
 
וּ֭בַלַּיְלָה [3] Dechi
שִׁירֹ֣ה עִמִּ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
תְּ֝פִלָּ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְאֵ֣ל חַיָּֽי׃ [1] Silluq

the LORD commands [4]
his lovingkindness, [3]
 
and in the night [3]
his song is with me; [2]
 
a prayer [2]
to the God of my life. [1]

לָמָ֢ה שְׁכַ֫חְתָּ֥נִי [2] Ole Veyored
 
לָֽמָּה־קֹדֵ֥ר אֵלֵ֗ךְ [3/2] Revi'i
בְּלַ֣חַץ אוֹיֵֽב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 9 I will say [4]
to God my rock, [3]
“Why have you forgotten me? [2]
 
Why do I walk mourning [3/2]
in the oppression of an enemy?” [1]
11 בְּרֶ֤צַח ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
בְּֽעַצְמוֹתַ֗י [3] Revi'i
חֵרְפ֥וּנִי צוֹרְרָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
בְּאׇמְרָ֥ם אֵלַ֥י כׇּל־הַ֝יּ֗וֹם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַיֵּ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq

in my bones, [3]
my adversaries have taunted me; [2]
 
when they say to me all the day, [2]
“Where is your God?” [1]

וּֽמַה־תֶּהֱמִ֢י עָ֫לָ֥י [2] Ole Veyored
