בְּאׇזְנֵ֬ינוּ שָׁמַ֗עְנוּ [3] Iluy Revi'a
אֲבוֹתֵ֥ינוּ סִפְּרוּ־לָ֑נוּ [2] Merkha Etnachta
 
פֹּ֥עַל פָּעַ֥לְתָּ בִ֝ימֵיהֶ֗ם [2] Merkha Merkha ReviaMugrash
בִּ֣ימֵי קֶֽדֶם׃ [1] Munach Silluq

with our ears we have heard, [3]
our fathers have recounted to us; [2]
 
the deeds you did in their days, [2]
in ancient days. [1]

וַֽתְּשַׁלְּחֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq

and you planted them; [2]
 
you afflicted peoples, [2]

וּזְרוֹעָם֮ [3] Sinnor
לֹא־הוֹשִׁ֢יעָ֫ה לָּ֥מוֹ [2] AtnachH OleVeyored
 
כִּֽי־יְמִינְךָ֣ וּ֭זְרוֹעֲךָ [3] Munach Dechi
וְא֥וֹר פָּנֶ֗יךָ [3/2] Merkha Revi'a
כִּ֣י רְצִיתָֽם׃ [1] Munach Silluq

our adversaries we push down; [2]
 
in your name [2]
we tread down those who rise against us. [1]

וְ֝חַרְבִּ֗י [2] ReviaMugrash
לֹ֣א תוֹשִׁיעֵֽנִי׃ [1] Munach Silluq

and my sword, [2]
it does not save me. [1]
8 כִּ֣י ה֭וֹשַׁעְתָּנוּ [3] Munach Dechi

וּמְשַׂנְאֵ֥ינוּ הֱבִישֽׁוֹתָ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
2 3 7 But you have saved us [3]
from our adversaries; [2]
 
and those who hate us you have put to shame. [1]

הִלַּ֣לְנוּ כׇל־הַיּ֑וֹם [2] Munach Etnachta

we have boasted all the day; [2]

וְלֹא־תֵ֝צֵ֗א [2] ReviaMugrash
בְּצִבְאוֹתֵֽינוּ׃ [1] Silluq

and you have humiliated us; [2]
 
and you do not go out [2]
with our armies. [1]
11 תְּשִׁיבֵ֣נוּ אָ֭חוֹר [3] Munach Dechi

וּ֝מְשַׂנְאֵ֗ינוּ [2] ReviaMugrash
שָׁ֣סוּ לָֽמוֹ׃ [1] Munach Silluq
2 3 2 10 You have made us turn back [3]
from the adversary; [2]
 
and those who hate us, [2]
they have plundered for themselves. [1]

וּ֝בַגּוֹיִ֗ם [2] ReviaMugrash
זֵרִיתָֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq

like sheep for food; [2]
 
and among the nations [2]
you have scattered us. [1]
13 תִּמְכֹּֽר־עַמְּךָ֥ בְלֹא־ה֑וֹן [2] Merkha Etnachta
 
וְלֹֽא־רִ֝בִּ֗יתָ [2] ReviaMugrash
בִּמְחִירֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 12 You have sold your people for nothing; [2]
 
and you have gained nothing [2]
by their price. [1]
14 תְּשִׂימֵ֣נוּ חֶ֭רְפָּה [3] Munach Dechi
לִשְׁכֵנֵ֑ינוּ [2] Etnachta
 
לַ֥עַג וָ֝קֶ֗לֶס [2] Merkha ReviaMugrash
לִסְבִיבוֹתֵֽינוּ׃ [1] Silluq

to our neighbors; [2]
 
mockery and derision [2]
to those around us. [1]

a shaking of head [2]

וּבֹ֖שֶׁת פָּנַ֣י [2] Tarcha Munach VRevMug
כִּסָּֽתְנִי׃ [1] Silluq

my dishonor is before me; [2]
 
and the shame of my face, [2]
it has covered me, [1]
17 מִ֭קּוֹל [3] Dechi
מְחָרֵ֣ף וּמְגַדֵּ֑ף [2] Munach Etnachta
 
מִפְּנֵ֥י א֝וֹיֵ֗ב [2] Merkha ReviaMugrash
וּמִתְנַקֵּֽם׃ [1] Silluq

of one who taunts and who reviles; [2]
 
because of an enemy [2]
and an avenger. [1]

וְלֹ֣א שְׁכַחֲנ֑וּךָ [2] Munach Etnachta
 
וְלֹֽא־שִׁ֝קַּ֗רְנוּ [2] ReviaMugrash
בִּבְרִיתֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 All this has come to us, [3]
yet we have not forgotten you; [2]
 
and we have not dealt falsely [2]
with your covenant. [1]
19 לֹא־נָס֣וֹג אָח֣וֹר [3] Munach Munach VDechi
לִבֵּ֑נוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וַתֵּ֥ט אֲ֝שֻׁרֵ֗ינוּ [2] Merkha ReviaMugrash
מִנִּ֥י אׇרְחֶֽךָ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

our heart; [2]
 
and our steps have not strayed [2]
from your path, [1]
20 כִּ֣י דִ֭כִּיתָנוּ [3] Munach Dechi
בִּמְק֣וֹם תַּנִּ֑ים [2] Munach Etnachta
 
וַתְּכַ֖ס עָלֵ֣ינוּ [2] Tarcha Munach VRevMug
בְצַלְמָֽוֶת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 though you have crushed us [3]
in a place of jackals; [2]
 
and you have covered over us [2]
with deep darkness. [1]
21 אִם־שָׁ֭כַחְנוּ [3] Dechi
שֵׁ֣ם אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ [2] Munach Etnachta
 
וַנִּפְרֹ֥שׂ כַּ֝פֵּ֗ינוּ [2] Merkha ReviaMugrash
לְאֵ֣ל זָֽר׃ [1] Munach Silluq
2 3 2 20 If we had forgotten [3]
the name of our God; [2]
 
and we had spread out our hands [2]
to a strange god, [1]
22 הֲלֹ֣א אֱ֭לֹהִים [3] Munach Dechi
יַחֲקׇר־זֹ֑את [2] Etnachta
 
כִּי־ה֥וּא יֹ֝דֵ֗עַ [2] Merkha ReviaMugrash
תַּעֲלֻמ֥וֹת לֵֽב׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

would he search this out? [2]
 
For he knows [2]
the secrets of the heart. [1]
23 כִּֽי־עָ֭לֶיךָ [3] Dechi
הֹרַ֣גְנוּ כׇל־הַיּ֑וֹם [2] Munach Etnachta
 
נֶ֝חְשַׁ֗בְנוּ [2] ReviaMugrash
כְּצֹ֣אן טִבְחָֽה׃ [1] Munach Silluq
2 3 2 22 But for your sake [3]
we have been killed all the day; [2]
 
we have been regarded [2]
as sheep for the slaughter. [1]

לָ֖מָּה תִישַׁ֥ן ׀ אֲדֹנָ֑י [2] Tarcha Merkha Etnachta
 
הָ֝קִ֗יצָה [2] ReviaMugrash
אַל־תִּזְנַ֥ח לָנֶֽצַח׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

Why do you sleep O Lord? [2]
 
Arise! [2]
Don’t reject us forever. [1]
25 לָֽמָּה־פָנֶ֥יךָ תַסְתִּ֑יר [2] Merkha Etnachta
 
תִּשְׁכַּ֖ח עׇנְיֵ֣נוּ [2] Tarcha Munach VRevMug
וְֽלַחֲצֵֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 24 Why do you hide your face; [2]
 
do you forget our affliction [2]
and our oppression? [1]
26 כִּ֤י שָׁ֣חָה לֶעָפָ֣ר [3] Mapakh Munach Munach VDechi
נַפְשֵׁ֑נוּ [2] Etnachta
 
דָּבְקָ֖ה לָאָ֣רֶץ [2] Tarcha Munach VRevMug
בִּטְנֵֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 25 For it has sunk down to the dust, [3]
our soul; [2]
 
it has clung to the earth, [2]
our body. [1]

וּ֝פְדֵ֗נוּ [2] ReviaMugrash
לְמַ֣עַן חַסְדֶּֽךָ׃ [1] Munach Silluq
