1 שִׁגָּי֗וֹן [3] Revi'i
לְדָ֫וִ֥ד [2] Ole Veyored
 
אֲשֶׁר־שָׁ֥ר לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
עַל־דִּבְרֵי־כ֝֗וּשׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בֶּן־יְמִינִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 A meditation [3]
of David; [2]
 
which he sang to the LORD, [2]
on the words of Cush, [2]
a Benjaminite. [1]
2 יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהַי [3] Dechi
בְּךָ֣ חָסִ֑יתִי [2] Etnachta
 
הוֹשִׁיעֵ֥נִי מִכׇּל־רֹ֝דְפַ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְהַצִּילֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 O LORD my God, [3]
in you I take refuge; [2]
 
save me from all my pursuers [2]
and deliver me, [1]
3 פֶּן־יִטְרֹ֣ף כְּאַרְיֵ֣ה [3] VDechi
נַפְשִׁ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
פֹּ֝רֵ֗ק [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְאֵ֣ין מַצִּֽיל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 lest they tear apart like a lion [3]
my soul; [2]
 
ripping in pieces [2]
with no one to deliver. [1]
4 יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהַי [3] Dechi
אִם־עָשִׂ֣יתִי זֹ֑את [2] Etnachta
 
אִֽם־יֶשׁ־עָ֥וֶל בְּכַפָּֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 O LORD my God [3]
if I have done this; [2]
 
if there is unrighteousness in my hands, [1]
5 אִם־גָּ֭מַלְתִּי [3] Dechi
שֽׁוֹלְמִ֥י רָ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
וָאֲחַלְּצָ֖ה צֽוֹרְרִ֣י [2] VRevMug
רֵיקָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 if I have paid back [3]
evil to one who was at peace with me; [2]
 
or I have plundered my adversary [2]
without cause, [1]
6 יִ֥רַדֹּֽף אוֹיֵ֨ב ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
נַפְשִׁ֡י [4] Pazer
וְיַשֵּׂ֗ג [3] Revi'i
 
וְיִרְמֹ֣ס לָאָ֣רֶץ [3] VDechi
חַיָּ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וּכְבוֹדִ֓י ׀ [2] ShalsheletG
לֶעָפָ֖ר יַשְׁכֵּ֣ן [2] VRevMug
סֶֽלָה׃ [1] Silluq

my life [4]
and overtake it, [3]
 
and let him trample to the earth [3]
my life; [2]
 
and my honor [2]
may he lay in the dust. [2]

הִ֭נָּשֵׂא [3] Dechi
בְּעַבְר֣וֹת צוֹרְרָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְע֥וּרָה אֵ֝לַ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִשְׁפָּ֥ט צִוִּֽיתָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 6 Arise O LORD [4]
in your anger, [3]
 
lift yourself up [3]
against the rage of my adversaries; [2]
 
and awaken for me [2]
the justice you have commanded. [1]
8 וַעֲדַ֣ת לְ֭אֻמִּים [3] Dechi
תְּסֽוֹבְבֶ֑ךָּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝עָלֶ֗יהָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לַמָּר֥וֹם שֽׁוּבָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 And let an assembly of nations [3]
surround you; [2]
 
and over them [2]
return on high. [1]
9 יְהֹוָה֮ [3] Sinnor
יָדִ֢ין עַ֫מִּ֥ים [2] Ole Veyored
 
שׇׁפְטֵ֥נִי יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
כְּצִדְקִ֖י וּכְתֻמִּ֣י [2] VRevMug
עָלָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 8 The LORD, [3]
let him judge the peoples; [2]
 
vindicate me O LORD [2]
according to my righteousness and to my integrity [2]
that is on me. [1]
10 יִגְמׇר־נָ֬א רַ֨ע ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
רְשָׁעִים֮ [3] Sinnor
וּתְכוֹנֵ֢ן צַ֫דִּ֥יק [2] Ole Veyored
 
וּבֹחֵ֣ן לִ֭בּוֹת [3] Dechi
וּכְלָי֗וֹת [3/2] Revi'i
אֱלֹהִ֥ים צַדִּֽיק׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 3 9 Oh may it come to an end, the evil [4]
of the wicked, [3]
and may you establish the righteous; [2]
 
and test the hearts [3]
and minds, [3/2]
O righteous God. [1]
11 מָגִנִּ֥י עַל־אֱלֹהִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
מ֝וֹשִׁ֗יעַ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 10 My shield is with God; [2]
 
who saves [2]
the upright in heart. [1]
12 אֱ֭לֹהִים [3] Dechi
שׁוֹפֵ֣ט צַדִּ֑יק [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝אֵ֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
זֹעֵ֥ם בְּכׇל־יֽוֹם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 God [3]
is a righteous judge; [2]
 
and a God [2]
of indignation every day. [1]
13 אִם־לֹ֣א יָ֭שׁוּב [3] Dechi
חַרְבּ֣וֹ יִלְט֑וֹשׁ [2] Etnachta
 
קַשְׁתּ֥וֹ דָ֝רַ֗ךְ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וַֽיְכוֹנְנֶֽהָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 If someone doesn’t repent, [3]
he will sharpen his sword; [2]
 
his bow he has bent [2]
and he has prepared it. [1]
14 וְ֭לוֹ [3] Dechi
הֵכִ֣ין כְּלֵי־מָ֑וֶת [2] Etnachta
 
חִ֝צָּ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְֽדֹלְקִ֥ים יִפְעָֽל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 And for him [3]
he has prepared instruments of death; [2]
 
his arrows [2]
he makes into that which flames. [1]
15 הִנֵּ֥ה יְחַבֶּל־אָ֑וֶן [2] Etnachta
 
וְהָרָ֥ה עָ֝מָ֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְיָ֣לַד שָֽׁקֶר׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 14 Behold, he is in labor with wickedness; [2]
 
and he conceives mischief [2]
and he brings forth falsehood. [1]
16 בּ֣וֹר כָּ֭רָה [3] Dechi
וַֽיַּחְפְּרֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝יִּפֹּ֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּשַׁ֣חַת יִפְעָֽל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 He digs a pit [3]
and he has dug it; [2]
 
and he has fallen [2]
into the pit which he made. [1]
17 יָשׁ֣וּב עֲמָל֣וֹ [3] VDechi
בְרֹאשׁ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְעַ֥ל קׇ֝דְקֳד֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
חֲמָס֥וֹ יֵרֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 His mischief returns [3]
on his own head; [2]
 
on the top of his head [2]
his violence shall come down. [1]
18 אוֹדֶ֣ה יְהֹוָ֣ה [3] VDechi
כְּצִדְק֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝אֲזַמְּרָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שֵֽׁם־יְהֹוָ֥ה עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq
פ		 2 3 2 17 I will give thanks to the LORD [3]
according to his righteousness; [2]
 
and will sing praise to [2]
the name of the LORD Most High. [1]
