תהילים 73 Psalm 73
1a מִזְמ֗וֹר [3] Revi'i
לְאָ֫סָ֥ף [2] Ole Veyored

1b אַ֤ךְ ט֖וֹב לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל אֱלֹהִ֗ים [3/2] Revi'i
לְבָרֵ֥י לֵבָֽב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 A Psalm [3]
of Asaph; [2]

1 Surely good to Israel is God, [3/2]
to the pure in heart. [1]
2 וַאֲנִ֗י [3] Revi'i
כִּ֭מְעַט [3] Dechi
*נטוי **נָטָ֣יוּ רַגְלָ֑י [2] Etnachta

כְּ֝אַ֗יִן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
*שפכה **שֻׁפְּכ֥וּ אֲשֻׁרָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 2 But I, [3]
almost [3]
my feet had turned aside; [2]

like nothing [2]
my steps had been poured out. [1]
3 כִּֽי־קִ֭נֵּאתִי [3] Dechi
בַּהוֹלְלִ֑ים [2] Etnachta

שְׁל֖וֹם רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
אֶרְאֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 For I was envious [3]
of those who boast; [2]

when the prosperity of the wicked [2]
I saw. [1]
4 כִּ֤י אֵ֖ין חַרְצֻבּ֥וֹת לְמוֹתָ֗ם [3/2] Revi'i
וּבָרִ֥יא אוּלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 4 For there are no pains at their death [3/2]
and their body is healthy. [1]
5 בַּעֲמַ֣ל אֱנ֣וֹשׁ [3] VDechi
אֵינֵ֑מוֹ [2] Etnachta

וְעִם־אָ֝דָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א יְנֻגָּֽעוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 Of the troubles of men [3]
they have none; [2]

and like other men [2]
they are not stricken. [1]
6 לָ֭כֵן [3] Dechi
עֲנָקַ֣תְמוֹ גַאֲוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta

יַעֲטָף־שִׁ֝֗ית [2] Revi'i Mugrash
חָמָ֥ס לָֽמוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 Therefore [3]
pride is like a chain around their neck; [2]

it covers like a garment, [2]
their violence. [1]
7 יָ֭צָא [3] Dechi
מֵחֵ֣לֶב עֵינֵ֑מוֹ [2] Etnachta

עָ֝בְר֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מַשְׂכִּיּ֥וֹת לֵבָֽב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 They bulge out [3]
from fatness, their eyes; [2]

they overflow, [2]
the imaginations of their hearts. [1]
8 יָמִ֤יקוּ ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
וִידַבְּר֣וּ בְרָ֣ע [3] VDechi
עֹ֑שֶׁק [2] Etnachta

מִמָּר֥וֹם יְדַבֵּֽרוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 8 They scoff [4]
and they wickedly speak [3]
of oppression; [2]

from a high place they speak. [1]
9 שַׁתּ֣וּ בַשָּׁמַ֣יִם [3] VDechi
פִּיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וּ֝לְשׁוֹנָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תִּהֲלַ֥ךְ בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 They set against the heavens [3]
their mouth; [2]

and their tongue, [2]
it struts through the earth. [1]
10 לָכֵ֤ן ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
*ישיב **יָשׁ֣וּב עַמּ֣וֹ [3] VDechi
הֲלֹ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וּמֵ֥י מָ֝לֵ֗א [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִמָּ֥צוּ לָֽמוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 10 Therefore [4]
his people return [3]
here; [2]

while waters of abundance [2]
they drink up. [1]
11 וְֽאָמְר֗וּ [3] Revi'i
אֵיכָ֥ה יָדַֽע־אֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta

וְיֵ֖שׁ דֵּעָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
בְעֶלְיֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 And they say, [3]
“How does God know? [2]

Is there knowledge [2]
with the Most High?” [1]
12 הִנֵּה־אֵ֥לֶּה רְשָׁעִ֑ים [2] Etnachta

וְשַׁלְוֵ֥י ע֝וֹלָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הִשְׂגּוּ־חָֽיִל׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 12 Behold, these are the wicked; [2]

and always at ease, [2]
they increase in riches. [1]
13 אַךְ־רִ֭יק [3] Dechi
זִכִּ֣יתִי לְבָבִ֑י [2] Etnachta

וָאֶרְחַ֖ץ בְּנִקָּי֣וֹן [2] VRevMug
כַּפָּֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 Surely in vain [3]
I have kept pure my heart; [2]

and I have washed in innocence [2]
my hands, [1]
14 וָאֱהִ֣י נָ֭גוּעַ [3] Dechi
כׇּל־הַיּ֑וֹם [2] Etnachta

וְ֝תוֹכַחְתִּ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לַבְּקָרִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 for I have been stricken [3]
all the day; [2]

with my chastisement [2]
every morning. [1]
15 אִם־אָ֭מַרְתִּי [3] Dechi
אֲסַפְּרָ֥ה כְמ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta

הִנֵּ֤ה ד֖וֹר בָּנֶ֣יךָ [2] VRevMug
בָגָֽדְתִּי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 If I had said, [3]
“I will speak thus,” [2]

behold the generation of your children, [2]
I would have betrayed. [1]
16 וָ֭אֲחַשְּׁבָה [3] Dechi
לָדַ֣עַת זֹ֑את [2] Etnachta

עָמָ֖ל *היא **ה֣וּא [2] VRevMug
בְעֵינָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 When I tried [3]
to understand this; [2]

it was too painful [2]
for me, [1]
17 עַד־אָ֭בוֹא [3] Dechi
אֶל־מִקְדְּשֵׁי־אֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta

אָ֝בִ֗ינָה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְאַחֲרִיתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 until I went [3]
into the sanctuary of God; [2]

I perceived [2]
their end. [1]
18 אַ֣ךְ בַּ֭חֲלָקוֹת [3] Dechi
תָּשִׁ֣ית לָ֑מוֹ [2] Etnachta

הִ֝פַּלְתָּ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְמַשּׁוּאֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 Surely in slippery places [3]
you set them; [2]

you make them fall [2]
to deceptions. [1]
19 אֵ֤יךְ הָי֣וּ לְשַׁמָּ֣ה [3] VDechi
כְרָ֑גַע [2] Etnachta

סָ֥פוּ תַ֝֗מּוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִן־בַּלָּהֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 How they become a ruin [3]
in a moment; [2]

they are ended, they are consumed [2]
by sudden terrors. [1]
20 כַּחֲל֥וֹם מֵהָקִ֑יץ [2] Etnachta

אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בָּעִ֤יר ׀ [4/2] Mahpakh Legarmeh
צַלְמָ֬ם תִּבְזֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 2 20 Like a dream from which one awakes; [2]

O Lord [2]
when (you) waken, [4/2]
their fantasies you will despise. [1]
21 כִּ֭י [3] Dechi
יִתְחַמֵּ֣ץ לְבָבִ֑י [2] Etnachta

וְ֝כִלְיוֹתַ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶשְׁתּוֹנָֽן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 21 When [3]
my heart was embittered; [2]

and in my heart [2]
I was pierced, [1]
22 וַאֲנִי־בַ֭עַר [3] Dechi
וְלֹ֣א אֵדָ֑ע [2] Etnachta

בְּ֝הֵמ֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הָיִ֥יתִי עִמָּֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 I was senseless, [3]
and nothing I knew; [2]

a brute beast [2]
I was before you. [1]
23 וַאֲנִ֣י תָמִ֣יד [3] VDechi
עִמָּ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta

אָ֝חַ֗זְתָּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּיַד־יְמִינִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 23 But I am continually [3]
with you; [2]

you take hold [2]
of my right hand. [1]
24 בַּעֲצָתְךָ֥ תַנְחֵ֑נִי [2] Etnachta

וְ֝אַחַ֗ר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כָּב֥וֹד תִּקָּחֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 24 With your counsel you guide me; [2]

and afterward [2]
you will receive me into glory. [1]
25 מִי־לִ֥י בַשָּׁמָ֑יִם [2] Etnachta

וְ֝עִמְּךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹֽא־חָפַ֥צְתִּי בָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 25 Who (but you) do I have in the heavens? [2]

And besides you [2]
there is none on earth that I desire. [1]
26 כָּלָ֥ה שְׁאֵרִ֗י [3] Revi'i
וּלְבָ֫בִ֥י [2] Ole Veyored

צוּר־לְבָבִ֥י וְחֶלְקִ֗י [3/2] Revi'i
אֱלֹהִ֥ים לְעוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 26 My flesh may fail, [3]
and my heart; [2]

(but) the strength of my heart and my portion [3/2]
is God forever. [1]
27 כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֣ה רְחֵקֶ֣יךָ [3] VDechi
יֹאבֵ֑דוּ [2] Etnachta

הִ֝צְמַ֗תָּה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־זוֹנֶ֥ה מִמֶּֽךָּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 27 For behold, those who are far from you, [3]
they will perish; [2]

you destroy [2]
all who like a harlot are unfaithful to you. [1]
28 וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
קִ֥רְבַ֥ת אֱלֹהִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
לִ֫י ט֥וֹב [2] Ole Veyored

שַׁתִּ֤י ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
בַּאדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֣ה [3] VDechi
מַחְסִ֑י [2] Etnachta

לְ֝סַפֵּ֗ר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־מַלְאֲכוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
פ
2 3 4 2 3 4 2 28 But I, [4]
to come near to God [3]
for me it is good; [2]

I have made [4]
the Lord GOD [3]
my refuge, [2]

to recount [2]
all your works. [1]
