1 Why O God [3]
have you rejected us forever; [2]
 
does your anger smolder [2]
against the sheep of your pasture? [1]
2 זְכֹ֤ר עֲדָֽתְךָ֨ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
קָ֘נִ֤יתָ קֶּ֗דֶם [3] Revi'i
 
גָּ֭אַלְתָּ [3] Dechi
שֵׁ֣בֶט נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
הַר־צִ֝יּ֗וֹן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
זֶ֤ה ׀ [4/2] Mahpakh Legarmeh
שָׁכַ֬נְתָּ בּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

which you acquired long ago, [3]
 
which you redeemed, [3]
the tribe of your inheritance; [2]
 
Mount Zion, [2]

you have dwelt on it. [1]

לְמַשֻּׁא֣וֹת נֶ֑צַח [2] Etnachta
 
כׇּל־הֵרַ֖ע אוֹיֵ֣ב [2] VRevMug
בַּקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 Lift up your feet [3]
to the perpetual ruins; [2]
 
all the harm that the enemy has done [2]
in the sanctuary. [1]
4 שָׁאֲג֣וּ צֹ֭רְרֶיךָ [3] Dechi
בְּקֶ֣רֶב מוֹעֲדֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
שָׂ֖מוּ אוֹתֹתָ֣ם [2] VRevMug
אֹתֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 Your adversaries have roared [3]
in the midst of your appointed place; [2]
 
they have set up their standards [2]
as signs. [1]
5 יִ֭וָּדַע [3] Dechi
כְּמֵבִ֣יא לְמָ֑עְלָה [2] Etnachta
 
בִּסְבׇךְ־עֵ֝֗ץ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
קַרְדֻּמּֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq

like one raising up [2]
 
against a thicket of trees, [2]
axes. [1]
6 *ועת **וְ֭עַתָּה [3] Dechi
פִּתּוּחֶ֣יהָ יָּ֑חַד [2] Etnachta
 
בְּכַשִּׁ֥יל וְ֝כֵילַפּ֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יַהֲלֹמֽוּן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 And now [3]
all its engravings; [2]
 
with axes and crowbars [2]
they struck. [1]
7 שִׁלְח֣וּ בָ֭אֵשׁ [3] Dechi
מִקְדָּשֶׁ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
לָ֝אָ֗רֶץ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
חִלְּל֥וּ מִֽשְׁכַּן־שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 They sent fire into [3]
your sanctuary; [2]
 
to the ground [2]
they profaned the dwelling place of your Name. [1]
8 אָמְר֣וּ בְ֭לִבָּם [3] Dechi
נִינָ֣ם יָ֑חַד [2] Etnachta
 
שָׂרְפ֖וּ כׇל־מוֹעֲדֵי־אֵ֣ל [2] VRevMug
בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 They said in their heart, [3]
“Let us crush them completely.” [2]
 
They burned all the appointed places of God [2]
in the land. [1]
9 אוֹתֹתֵ֗ינוּ [3] Revi'i
לֹ֥א רָ֫אִ֥ינוּ [2] Ole Veyored
 
אֵֽין־ע֥וֹד נָבִ֑יא [2] Etnachta
וְלֹֽא־אִ֝תָּ֗נוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יֹדֵ֥עַ עַד־מָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 9 Our signs [3]
we have not seen; [2]
 
there is no longer a prophet, [2]
and there is not among us [2]
one who knows how long. [1]
10 עַד־מָתַ֣י אֱ֭לֹהִים [3] Dechi
יְחָ֣רֶף צָ֑ר [2] Etnachta
 
יְנָ֘אֵ֤ץ אוֹיֵ֖ב שִׁמְךָ֣ [2] VRevMug
לָנֶֽצַח׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 How long O God, [3]
shall the adversary taunt? [2]
 
Shall the enemy blaspheme your name [2]
forever? [1]
11 לָ֤מָּה תָשִׁ֣יב יָ֭דְךָ [3] Dechi
וִימִינֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
מִקֶּ֖רֶב *חוקך **חֵיקְךָ֣ [2] VRevMug
כַלֵּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 Why do you draw back your hand, [3]
even your right hand? [2]
 
From the midst of your bosom, [2]
destroy! [1]
12 וֵ֭אלֹהִים [3] Dechi
מַלְכִּ֣י מִקֶּ֑דֶם [2] Etnachta
 
פֹּעֵ֥ל יְ֝שׁוּע֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּקֶ֣רֶב הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 Yet God [3]
has been my King from ancient times; [2]
 
working salvation [2]
throughout the earth. [1]
13 אַתָּ֤ה פוֹרַ֣רְתָּ בְעׇזְּךָ֣ [3] VDechi
יָ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
שִׁבַּ֖רְתָּ רָאשֵׁ֥י תַ֝נִּינִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־הַמָּֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 You, you divided by your strength [3]
the sea; [2]
 
you shattered the heads of sea monsters [2]
on the waters. [1]
14 אַתָּ֣ה רִ֭צַּצְתָּ [3] Dechi
רָאשֵׁ֣י לִוְיָתָ֑ן [2] Etnachta
 
תִּתְּנֶ֥נּוּ מַ֝אֲכָ֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְעָ֣ם לְצִיִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 You, you crushed [3]
the heads of Leviathan; [2]
 
you gave it as food [2]
to people, to desert dwellers. [1]
15 אַתָּ֣ה בָ֭קַעְתָּ [3] Dechi
מַעְיָ֣ן וָנָ֑חַל [2] Etnachta
 
אַתָּ֥ה ה֝וֹבַ֗שְׁתָּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נַהֲר֥וֹת אֵיתָֽן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 You, you broke open [3]
a spring and a torrent; [2]
 
you, you dried up [2]
ever-flowing rivers. [1]
16 לְךָ֣ י֭וֹם [3] Dechi
אַף־לְךָ֥ לָ֑יְלָה [2] Etnachta
 
אַתָּ֥ה הֲ֝כִינ֗וֹתָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מָא֥וֹר וָשָֽׁמֶשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 Yours is the day, [3]
yours also is the night; [2]
 
you, you established [2]
the luminaries and the sun. [1]
17 אַתָּ֣ה הִ֭צַּבְתָּ [3] Dechi
כׇּל־גְּבוּל֣וֹת אָ֑רֶץ [2] Etnachta
 
קַ֥יִץ וָ֝חֹ֗רֶף [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַתָּ֥ה יְצַרְתָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 You, you established [3]
all the boundaries of the earth; [2]
 
summer and winter [2]
you, you formed them. [1]
18 זְכׇר־זֹ֗את [3] Revi'i
א֭וֹיֵב [3] Dechi
חֵרֵ֣ף ׀ יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְעַ֥ם נָ֝בָ֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נִאֲצ֥וּ שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 18 Remember this, [3]
the enemy, [3]
he has mocked O LORD; [2]
 
and foolish people, [2]
they have blasphemed your name. [1]
19 אַל־תִּתֵּ֣ן לְ֭חַיַּת [3] Dechi
נֶ֣פֶשׁ תּוֹרֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
חַיַּ֥ת עֲ֝נִיֶּ֗יךָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַל־תִּשְׁכַּ֥ח לָנֶֽצַח׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 Don’t deliver to wild beasts [3]
the soul of your dove; [2]
 
the life of your poor, [2]
do not forget forever. [1]
20 הַבֵּ֥ט לַבְּרִ֑ית [2] Etnachta
 
כִּ֥י מָלְא֥וּ מַחֲשַׁכֵּי־אֶ֝֗רֶץ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נְא֣וֹת חָמָֽס׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 20 Honor the covenant; [2]
 
for the dark places of the land are filled [2]
with settlements of violence. [1]
21 אַל־יָשֹׁ֣ב דַּ֣ךְ [3] VDechi
נִכְלָ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
עָנִ֥י וְ֝אֶבְי֗וֹן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְֽהַלְל֥וּ שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 21 Don’t let the oppressed return [3]
humiliated; [2]
 
the poor and the needy, [2]
may they praise your name. [1]
22 קוּמָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים [3] Dechi
רִיבָ֣ה רִיבֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
זְכֹ֥ר חֶרְפָּתְךָ֥ מִנִּי־נָ֝בָ֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 Arise O God! [3]
Plead your case; [2]
 
remember how the foolish man mocks you [2]
all the day. [1]
23 אַל־תִּ֭שְׁכַּח [3] Dechi
ק֣וֹל צֹרְרֶ֑יךָ [2] Etnachta
 
שְׁא֥וֹן קָ֝מֶ֗יךָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עֹלֶ֥ה תָמִֽיד׃ [1] Silluq

the voice of your adversaries; [2]
 
the uproar of those who rise up against you, [2]
which ascends continually. [1]
