1 יֹ֭שֵׁב [3] Dechi
בְּסֵ֣תֶר עֶלְי֑וֹן [2] Etnachta
 
בְּצֵ֥ל שַׁ֝דַּ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִתְלוֹנָֽן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 The one who dwells [3]
in the shelter of the Most High; [2]
 
in the shadow of the Almighty, [2]
he will rest. [1]
2 אֹמַ֗ר [3] Revi'i
לַ֭יהֹוָה [3] Dechi
מַחְסִ֣י וּמְצוּדָתִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶבְטַח־בּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 2 I will say [3]
of the LORD, [3]
“My refuge and my stronghold; [2]
 
my God [2]
in whom I trust.” [1]
3 כִּ֤י ה֣וּא יַ֭צִּילְךָ [3] Dechi
מִפַּ֥ח יָק֗וּשׁ [3/2] Revi'i
מִדֶּ֥בֶר הַוּֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 For he, he will deliver you [3]
from the snare of a fowler, [3/2]
from a plague of destruction. [1]
4 בְּאֶבְרָת֨וֹ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
יָ֣סֶךְ לָ֭ךְ [3] Dechi
וְתַחַת־כְּנָפָ֣יו תֶּחְסֶ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
צִנָּ֖ה וְסֹחֵרָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
אֲמִתּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 4 With his feathers [4]
he will cover you, [3]
and under his wings you will take refuge; [2]
 
a shield and a wall [2]
is his faithfulness. [1]
5 לֹֽא־תִ֭ירָא [3] Dechi
מִפַּ֣חַד לָ֑יְלָה [2] Etnachta
 
מֵ֝חֵ֗ץ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָע֥וּף יוֹמָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 You shall not be afraid [3]
from the terror by night; [2]
 
from the arrow [2]
that flies by day, [1]
6 מִ֭דֶּבֶר [3] Dechi
בָּאֹ֣פֶל יַהֲלֹ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
מִ֝קֶּ֗טֶב [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָשׁ֥וּד צׇהֳרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 from a plague [3]
which walks in darkness; [2]
 
or from destruction [2]
which devastates at noon. [1]
7 יִפֹּ֤ל מִצִּדְּךָ֨ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
אֶ֗לֶף [3] Revi'i
וּרְבָבָ֥ה מִימִינֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
אֵ֝לֶ֗יךָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א יִגָּֽשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 7 Though they fall at your side, [4]
a thousand, [3]
and ten thousand at your right hand; [2]
 
to you [2]
it will not come near. [1]
8 רַ֭ק [3] Dechi
בְּעֵינֶ֣יךָ תַבִּ֑יט [2] Etnachta
 
וְשִׁלֻּמַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תִּרְאֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 Only [3]
with your own eyes you will look; [2]
 
and the retribution of the wicked [2]
you will see. [1]
9 כִּֽי־אַתָּ֣ה יְהֹוָ֣ה [3] VDechi
מַחְסִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שַׂ֣מְתָּ מְעוֹנֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 Because you, the LORD [3]
who is my refuge; [2]
 
the Most High, [2]
you have made your dwelling place, [1]
10 לֹא־תְאֻנֶּ֣ה אֵלֶ֣יךָ [3] VDechi
רָעָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝נֶ֗גַע [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹא־יִקְרַ֥ב בְּאׇהֳלֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 it will not happen to you, [3]
evil; [2]
 
and plague, [2]
it will not come near your dwelling. [1]
11 כִּ֣י מַ֭לְאָכָיו [3] Dechi
יְצַוֶּה־לָּ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
לִ֝שְׁמׇרְךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּכׇל־דְּרָכֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 For his angels [3]
he will put in charge of you; [2]
 
to guard you [2]
in all your ways. [1]
12 עַל־כַּפַּ֥יִם יִשָּׂא֑וּנְךָ [2] Etnachta
 
פֶּן־תִּגֹּ֖ף בָּאֶ֣בֶן [2] VRevMug
רַגְלֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 12 They will lift you up in their hands; [2]
 
lest you should strike against a stone, [2]
your foot. [1]
13 עַל־שַׁ֣חַל וָפֶ֣תֶן [3] VDechi
תִּדְרֹ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
תִּרְמֹ֖ס כְּפִ֣יר [2] VRevMug
וְתַנִּֽין׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 On a lion and a cobra [3]
you will tread; [2]
 
you will trample underfoot a young lion [2]
and a serpent. [1]
14 כִּ֤י בִ֣י חָ֭שַׁק [3] Dechi
וַאֲפַלְּטֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta
 
אֲ֝שַׂגְּבֵ֗הוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כִּֽי־יָדַ֥ע שְׁמִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 “Because in me he delights, [3]
I will deliver him; [2]
 
I will set him securely on high, [2]
because he knows my name. [1]
15 יִקְרָאֵ֨נִי ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וְֽאֶעֱנֵ֗הוּ [3] Revi'i
עִמּֽוֹ־אָנֹכִ֥י בְצָרָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
אֲ֝חַלְּצֵ֗הוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וַאֲכַבְּדֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 15 He will call out to me [4]
and I will answer him, [3]
I will be with him in trouble; [2]
 
I will rescue him, [2]
and I will honor him. [1]
16 אֹ֣רֶךְ יָ֭מִים [3] Dechi
אַשְׂבִּיעֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝אַרְאֵ֗הוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בִּישׁוּעָתִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
פ		 2 3 2 16 With long life [3]
I will satisfy him; [2]
 
and I will show him [2]
my salvation.” [1]
