זכריה 4 Zechariah 4
1 וַיָּ֕שׇׁב [2] ZaqefG
הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
הַדֹּבֵ֣ר בִּ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
וַיְעִירֵ֕נִי [2] ZaqefG
כְּאִ֖ישׁ [2] Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁר־יֵע֥וֹר מִשְּׁנָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 2 1 And he came back, [2]
the angel [2]
who was speaking with me; [1]
 
and he roused me, [2]
like a person [2]
who is roused from his sleep. [1]
2 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י [2] Zaqef
מָ֥ה אַתָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
רֹאֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
*ויאמר **וָאֹמַ֡ר [4] Pazer
רָאִ֣יתִי ׀ [4] Legarmeh
וְהִנֵּ֣ה מְנוֹרַת֩ זָהָ֨ב כֻּלָּ֜הּ [4] Geresh
וְגֻלָּ֣הּ עַל־רֹאשָׁ֗הּ [3] Revi'i
 
וְשִׁבְעָ֤ה נֵרֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ [3 3] Pashta
עָלֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef
 
שִׁבְעָ֤ה וְשִׁבְעָה֙ [3] Pashta
מֽוּצָק֔וֹת [2] Zaqef
 
לַנֵּר֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־רֹאשָֽׁהּ׃ [1] Silluq

“What do you [2]
see?” [1]
 
And I said, [4]
“I see, [4]
behold, a lampstand all of gold, [4]
with a bowl on its top, [3]
 
and its seven lamps [3 3]
on it, [2]
 
seven and seven [3]
pipes [2]
 
the lamps have, [2]
which are on its top, [1]
3 וּשְׁנַ֥יִם זֵיתִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
עָלֶ֑יהָ [1] Etnachta
 
אֶחָד֙ [3] Pashta
מִימִ֣ין הַגֻּלָּ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְאֶחָ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
עַל־שְׂמֹאלָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 3 and two olive trees [2]
by it; [1]
 
one [3]
on the right side of the bowl [2]
 
and one [2]
at its left side.” [1]
4 וָאַ֙עַן֙ [3 3] Pashta
וָֽאֹמַ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
אֶל־הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ [3] Tevir
הַדֹּבֵ֥ר בִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
מָה־אֵ֖לֶּה [2] Tip'cha
אֲדֹנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq

and I spoke [2]
 
to the angel [3]
who was speaking with me, [2]
saying; [1]
 
“What are these, [2]
O my lord?” [1]
5 וַ֠יַּ֠עַן [4 4] TelishaG
הַמַּלְאָ֞ךְ [4] Gershayim
הַדֹּבֵ֥ר בִּי֙ [3] Pashta
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
הֲל֥וֹא יָדַ֖עְתָּ [2] Tip'cha
מָה־הֵ֣מָּה אֵ֑לֶּה [1] Etnachta
 
וָאֹמַ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א אֲדֹנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq

the angel [4]
who was speaking with me, [3]
and he said to me, [2]
 
“Don’t you know [2]
what these are?” [1]
 
And I said, [2]
“No, my lord.” [1]
6 וַיַּ֜עַן [4] Geresh
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלַי֙ [3] Pashta
לֵאמֹ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
זֶ֚ה [3] Yetiv
דְּבַר־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
אֶל־זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
לֹ֤א בְחַ֙יִל֙ [3 3] Pashta
וְלֹ֣א בְכֹ֔חַ [2] Zaqef
 
כִּ֣י אִם־בְּרוּחִ֔י [2] Zaqef
אָמַ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq

and he spoke to me, [3]
saying, [2]
 
“This [3]
is the word of the LORD [2]
 
to Zerubbabel [2]
saying; [1]
 
‘Not by might [3 3]
and not by power, [2]
 
but by my Spirit,’ [2]
says he, [2]
the LORD of Hosts. [1]
7 מִֽי־אַתָּ֧ה הַֽר־הַגָּד֛וֹל [3] Tevir
לִפְנֵ֥י זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
לְמִישֹׁ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
וְהוֹצִיא֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־הָאֶ֣בֶן הָרֹאשָׁ֔הֿ [2] Zaqef
 
תְּשֻׁא֕וֹת [2] ZaqefG
חֵ֥ן חֵ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
לָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq

Before Zerubbabel, [2]
level ground; [1]
 
and he will bring forth [3]
the capstone, [2]
 
shouting [2]
‘Grace, grace, [2]
to it!’ ” [1]
8 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 8 And the word of the LORD came [2]
to me saying, [1]
9 יְדֵ֣י זְרֻבָּבֶ֗ל [3] Revi'i
יִסְּד֛וּ [3] Tevir
הַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וְיָדָ֣יו תְּבַצַּ֑עְנָה [1] Etnachta
 
וְיָ֣דַעְתָּ֔ [2] Zaqef
כִּֽי־יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
שְׁלָחַ֥נִי אֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 9 “The hands of Zerubbabel, [3]
they have founded [3]
this house, [2]
and his hands shall finish it; [1]
 
and you will know [2]
that the LORD of Hosts, [2]
he has sent me to you. [1]
10 כִּ֣י מִ֣י בַז֮ [3] Zarqa
לְי֣וֹם קְטַנּוֹת֒ [2] Segol
 
וְשָׂמְח֗וּ [3] Revi'i
 
וְרָא֞וּ [4] Gershayim
אֶת־הָאֶ֧בֶן הַבְּדִ֛יל [3] Tevir
בְּיַ֥ד זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
 
שִׁבְעָה־אֵ֑לֶּה [1] Etnachta
 
עֵינֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
הֵ֥מָּה מְשׁוֹטְטִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בְּכׇל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 3 4 2 2 10 For who despises [3]
a day of small things? [2]
 
And they will rejoice, [3]
 
and they will see [4]
the plumb line [3]
in the hand of Zerubbabel, [2]
 
these seven. [1]
 
The eyes of the LORD, [2]
they are roving about [2]
in all the earth.” [1]
11 וָאַ֖עַן [2] Tip'cha
וָאֹמַ֣ר אֵלָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
מַה־שְּׁנֵ֤י הַזֵּיתִים֙ [3] Pashta
הָאֵ֔לֶּה [2] Zaqef
 
עַל־יְמִ֥ין הַמְּנוֹרָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וְעַל־שְׂמֹאולָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 11 Then I asked [2]
and I said to him; [1]
 
“What are the two olive trees [3]
these, [2]
 
on the right side of the lamp stand [2]
and on its left side?” [1]
12 וָאַ֣עַן שֵׁנִ֔ית [2] Zaqef
וָאֹמַ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
אֵלָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
מַה־שְׁתֵּ֞י [4] Gershayim
שִׁבְּלֵ֣י הַזֵּיתִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
 
אֲשֶׁר֙ [3] Pashta
בְּיַ֗ד [3] Revi'i
שְׁנֵי֙ [3] Pashta
צַנְתְּר֣וֹת הַזָּהָ֔ב [2] Zaqef
 
הַֽמְרִיקִ֥ים מֵעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
הַזָּהָֽב׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 4 3 3 3 2 12 And I asked a second time [2]
and I said [2]
to him; [1]
 
“What are the two, [4]
the branches of the olive trees, [3]
 
which [3]
are beside [3]
the two [3]
the pipes of gold, [2]
 
which are pouring out from themselves [2]
the golden oil?” [1]
13 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלַי֙ [3] Pashta
לֵאמֹ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
הֲל֥וֹא יָדַ֖עְתָּ [2] Tip'cha
מָה־אֵ֑לֶּה [1] Etnachta
 
וָאֹמַ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א אֲדֹנִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 13 And he spoke to me [3]
saying, [2]
 
“Don’t you know [2]
what these are?” [1]
 
And I said, [2]
“No, my lord.” [1]
14 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר [2] ZaqefG
אֵ֖לֶּה [2] Tip'cha
שְׁנֵ֣י בְנֵֽי־הַיִּצְהָ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
הָעֹמְדִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
עַל־אֲד֥וֹן כׇּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 14 And he said, [2]
“These [2]
are the two anointed ones; [1]
 
who are standing [2]
by the Lord of all the earth.” [1]
