| ישעה 48 | Isaiah 48 | |||
[1] Merkha Silluq |
1 “Hear this O house of Jacob, [3] who are called [3] by the name of Israel, [2] they came out; [1] by the name of the LORD, [3] they make mention, [2] and not in righteousness, [1] |
2 for from the holy city [3] they call themselves, [2] they rely; [1] his name. [1] § |
3 The former things [3] from of old I have declared, [2] and I proclaimed them; [1] and they came. [1] |
4 Because I knew [2] that obstinate [2] were you; [1] was your neck, [2] bronze, [1] |
5 I have declared them to you [3] from of old, [2] I proclaimed (it) to you; [1] ‘My idol, it did them, [2] it commanded them.’ [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
6 You have heard, [3] look at [3] all of it, [2] will you not declare it? [1] from now on, [2] which you have not known. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
7 Now they have been created [3] and not from of old, [2] you had not heard of them; [1] ‘Behold, I knew them.’ [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
8 So you didn’t hear [3] and [3] you didn’t know, [2] from of old [2] your ear was not opened; [1] you surely would act treacherously, [2] you have been called. [1] |
9 For the sake of my name, [3] I will defer my anger - [2] I will restrain myself to you; [1] to cut you off. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
10 Behold I have refined you [2] but not as silver; [1] in a furnace of affliction. [1] |
11 For my own sake, for my own sake [3] I will act, [2] for how could it be profaned; [1] to another I will not give.” [1] ¶ |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
12 “Listen to me [3] O Jacob, [2] the one I called; [1] I am first, [2] I am last. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
13 For my hand, [3] it laid the foundation of the earth, [2] it spread out the heavens; [1] to them, [2] they stand together. [1] |
14 Gather together all of you [3] and hear. [2] has declared these things? [1] to Babylon, [2] the Kasdim. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
15 I - I, [3] I have spoken, [2] and I have called him; [1] and he shall make his way successful. [1] |
| 16 קִרְב֧וּ אֵלַ֣י שִׁמְעוּ־זֹ֗את [3] Darga Munach Revi'a לֹ֤א מֵרֹאשׁ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta בַּסֵּ֣תֶר דִּבַּ֔רְתִּי [2] Munach Zaqef שָׁ֣ם אָ֑נִי [1] Munach Etnachta אֲדֹנָ֧י יֱהֹוִ֛ה [3] Darga Tevir שְׁלָחַ֖נִי [2] Tip'cha וְרוּחֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq פ |
16 Draw near to me, listen to this, [3] not from the beginning [3] in secret have I spoken, [2] I was there.” [1] the Lord GOD, [3] he has sent me, [2] by his Spirit. [1] ¶ |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
17 Thus says the LORD [3] your Redeemer, [2] the Holy One of Israel; [1] who teaches you to profit, [2] in the way you will go. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
18 Oh that you had paid attention [2] to my commandments! [1] your peace, [2] like the waves of the sea. [1] |
19 And it would have been like the sand, [3] your offspring, [2] like its grains; [1] its name, [2] from before me.” [1] § |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
20 Go out from Babylon! [3] Flee from the Kasdim! [2] declare, proclaim [3] this, [2] to the end of the earth; [1] “The LORD has redeemed [2] his servant Jacob!” [1] |
| 21 וְלֹ֣א צָמְא֗וּ [3] Munach Revi'a בׇּֽחֳרָבוֹת֙ [3] Pashta הוֹלִיכָ֔ם [2] Zaqef הִזִּ֣יל לָ֑מוֹ [1] Munach Etnachta וַיָּזֻ֖בוּ [2] Tip'cha מָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq |
21 For they didn’t thirst [3] when through the deserts [3] he led them, [2] he caused to flow for them; [1] and out they flowed, [2] the waters. [1] |
22 “There is no peace” [2] says the LORD, [2] “for the wicked.” [1] ¶ |
