איוב 4 | Job 4 | |||
[1] Silluq |
1 Then he answered, [3] Eliphaz the Temanite, [3/2] and he said, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
2 “Should someone attempt a word to you, [3] will you be impatient? [2] who is able? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
3 Behold, [3] you have instructed many; [2] you have strengthened. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
4 The one who stumbled, [3] your words have supported; [2] you have strengthened. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
5 But now [4] it comes to you, [3] and you become impatient; [2] and you become dismayed. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
6 Isn’t your fear [3] your confidence; [2] and the integrity of your ways? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
7 “Remember now, [3] who that was innocent [3] ever perished; [2] were the upright destroyed? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
8 Just as I have seen, [3] those who plow wickedness; [2] they harvest it. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
9 By the breath of God [3] they perish; [2] they come to an end. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
10 The roaring of a lion, [3] and the voice of a fierce lion; [2] they are broken out. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
11 A lion [3] perishes for lack of prey; [2] they are scattered. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
12 “Now to me [3] a word was brought secretly; [2] a whisper of it. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
13 In disquieting thoughts [3] from visions of the night; [2] on men, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
14 fear came on me [3] and trembling; [2] it caused to tremble, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
15 and a spirit, [3] over my face it passed; [2] the hair of my flesh. [1] |
16 It stood still, [4] but I couldn’t discern its appearance, [3] was before my eyes; [2] I heard, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
17 ‘A person, [3] more than God will he be righteous; [2] will a man be pure? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
18 Behold in his servants, [3] he puts no trust; [2] he charges error. [1] |
19 How much more [4] those who dwell in houses of clay, [3] whose foundation is in the dust; [2] before a moth. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
20 From morning to evening [3] they are crushed to pieces; [2] they perish forever. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
21 Is not their tent cord pulled up [3] within them; [2] and without wisdom?’ [1] |
