	⁵וְעַל־יָדָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha הֶחֱזִ֣יקוּ הַתְּקוֹעִ֑ים [1] Munach Etnachta וְאַדִּֽירֵיהֶם֙ [3] Pashta לֹא־הֵבִ֣יאוּ צַוָּרָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef בַּעֲבֹדַ֖ת [2] Tip'cha אֲדֹנֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq ס		⁵And next to them [2] the Tekoites made repairs; [1] but their nobles, [3] they didn’t put their necks [2] to the work [2] of their masters. 	²⁵פָּלָ֣ל בֶּן־אוּזַי֮ [3] Munach Zarqa מִנֶּ֣גֶד הַמִּקְצ֒וֹעַ֒ [2] Munach Segol וְהַמִּגְדָּ֗ל [3] Revi'a הַיּוֹצֵא֙ [3] Pashta מִבֵּ֤ית הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta הָֽעֶלְי֔וֹן [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֖ר [2] Tip'cha לַחֲצַ֣ר הַמַּטָּרָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta אַחֲרָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha פְּדָיָ֥ה בֶן־פַּרְעֹֽשׁ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq ס		²⁵Palal the son of Uzai (made repairs) [3] from before the turning of the wall, [2] and the tower [3] that stands out [3] from the house of the king [3] the upper, [2] which [2] is by the court of the guard; [1] after him [2] Pedaiah the son of Parosh (made repairs). 	²⁶וְהַ֨נְּתִינִ֔ים [2] Qadma Zaqef הָי֥וּ יֹשְׁבִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha בָּעֹ֑פֶל [1] Etnachta עַ֠ד [4] TelishaG נֶ֜גֶד [4] Geresh שַׁ֤עַר הַמַּ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לַמִּזְרָ֔ח [2] Zaqef וְהַמִּגְדָּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha הַיּוֹצֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq ס		²⁶And the temple servants [2] who lived [2] on the Ophel (made repairs) [1] up to [4] the place across from [4] the water gate [3] toward the east, [2] and the tower [2] that stands out. 	³⁴וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh לִפְנֵ֣י אֶחָ֗יו [3] Munach Revi'a וְחֵיל֙ [3] Pashta שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן [2] Zaqef וַיֹּ֕אמֶר [2] ZaqefG מָ֛ה [3] Tevir הַיְּהוּדִ֥ים הָאֲמֵלָלִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha עֹשִׂ֑ים [1] Etnachta הֲיַעַזְב֨וּ לָהֶ֤ם הֲיִזְבָּ֙חוּ֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta הַיְכַלּ֣וּ בַיּ֔וֹם [2] Munach Zaqef הַיְחַיּ֧וּ אֶת־הָאֲבָנִ֛ים [3] Darga Tevir מֵעֲרֵמ֥וֹת הֶעָפָ֖ר [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְהֵ֥מָּה שְׂרוּפֽוֹת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²and he spoke [4] before his brothers [3] and the army [3] of Samaria, [2] and he said, [2] “What [3] are these feeble Jews [2] doing? [1] Will they restore (it) themselves? Will they offer sacrifices? [3] Will they finish in a day? [2] Can they revive the stones [3] from the heaps of rubble [2] though they are burned?” [1]
	³⁵וְטוֹבִיָּ֥ה הָעַמֹּנִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶצְל֑וֹ [1] Etnachta וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'a גַּ֚ם [3] Yetiv אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֣ם בּוֹנִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef אִם־יַעֲלֶ֣ה שׁוּעָ֔ל [2] Munach Zaqef וּפָרַ֖ץ [2] Tip'cha חוֹמַ֥ת אַבְנֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq פ		³And Tobiah the Ammonite [2] was beside him; [1] and he said, [3] “And [3] what they are building, [2] if a fox climbs up, [2] it will break down [2] their stone wall!” [1] ¶
	³⁶שְׁמַ֤ע אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta כִּֽי־הָיִ֣ינוּ בוּזָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וְהָשֵׁ֥ב חֶרְפָּתָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶל־רֹאשָׁ֑ם [1] Etnachta וּתְנֵ֥ם לְבִזָּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha בְּאֶ֥רֶץ שִׁבְיָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁴“Hear O our God [3] for we are despised, [2] and turn back their insult [2] on their own head; [1] and give them up as plunder [2] in a land of captivity. [1]
	³⁷וְאַל־תְּכַס֙ [3] Pashta עַל־עֲוֺנָ֔ם [2] Zaqef וְחַטָּאתָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha מִלְּפָנֶ֣יךָ אַל־תִּמָּחֶ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta כִּ֥י הִכְעִ֖יסוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha לְנֶ֥גֶד הַבּוֹנִֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁵And don’t cover [3] over their guilt, [2] and their sin, [2] don’t let it be blotted out from before you; [1] for they have provoked anger [2] before the builders.” [1]
	³⁸וַנִּבְנֶה֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וַתִּקָּשֵׁ֥ר כׇּל־הַחוֹמָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha עַד־חֶצְיָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta וַיְהִ֧י לֵ֦ב לָעָ֖ם [2] Darga MerkhaK Tip'cha לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ [1] Silluq פ		⁶So we rebuilt [3] the wall, [2] and the entire wall was joined together [2] up to half its height; [1] for the people had a heart [2] to work. [1] ¶
