1 To the LORD [3]
in my distress, [2]
 
I cried out [2]
and he answered me. [1]
2 יְֽהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
הַצִּ֣ילָה נַ֭פְשִׁי [3] Dechi
מִשְּׂפַת־שֶׁ֑קֶר [2] Etnachta
 
מִלָּשׁ֥וֹן רְמִיָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq

deliver my soul [3]
from lying lips; [2]
 
from a deceitful tongue. [1]
3 מַה־יִּתֵּ֣ן לְ֭ךָ [3] Dechi
וּמַה־יֹּסִ֥יף לָ֗ךְ [3/2] Revi'i
לָשׁ֥וֹן רְמִיָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 What will be given to you [3]
and what more will be done for you, [3/2]
O deceitful tongue? [1]
4 חִצֵּ֣י גִבּ֣וֹר [3] VDechi
שְׁנוּנִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
עִ֝֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
גַּחֲלֵ֥י רְתָמִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

sharpened; [2]
 
with [2]
burning coals of the broom tree. [1]

כִּי־גַ֣רְתִּי מֶ֑שֶׁךְ [2] Etnachta
 
שָׁ֝כַ֗נְתִּי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עִֽם־אׇהֳלֵ֥י קֵדָֽר׃ [1] Silluq

that I have sojourned in Meshech; [2]
 
I have dwelt [2]
among the tents of Kedar! [1]

שָֽׁכְנָה־לָּ֣הּ נַפְשִׁ֑י [2] Etnachta

שׂוֹנֵ֥א שָׁלֽוֹם׃ [1] Silluq

has my soul dwelt; [2]

one who hates peace. [1]

לַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
