ξαίνω

Notes: In OET MAT 6:28 the Sinaiticus manuscript has an interesting reading, οὐ ξένουσιν (= οὐ ξαίνουσιν), thus providing three processes or activities involving cloth rather than two. However, in view of the relatively limited support for this reading, most translators follow the text which has αὐξάνουσιν they grow.
