1. Descendant of Eliezer who was in the direct ancestral line of high priests, though he apparently never served in that capacity (1 Chr 6:5-6, 51). He is listed as the son of Bukki and the father of Zerahiah; he was a lineal ancestor of Zadok and later Ezra (Ezr 7:4).

2. Clan chief and mighty warrior of the tribe of Issachar. He was one of the six sons of Tola and the father of Izrahiah, his successor as clan chief (1 Chr 7:2-3).

3. Clan chief and mighty warrior of Benjamin’s tribe, listed as one of the sons of Bela (1 Chr 7:7).

4. Head of one of the Benjaminite clans that returned from Babylon, listed as the son of Micri and the father of Elah (1 Chr 9:8).

5. One of the overseers of the Levites in Jerusalem, listed as the son of Bani from the clan of Asaph (Neh 11:22).

6. Head of the priestly house of Jedaiah during the days of Joiakim the high priest (Neh 12:19).

7. One of the priests (or Levites) who participated in the dedication of the rebuilt temple (Neh 12:42). He may be the same as #5 or #6 above.
