Freely-Given.org Bible Demos / Resources

The following list gives links to freely available Bible resources which we have run through our Bible Drop Box (BDB). You can browse through the pages to see:

  1. The typical outputs of the Bible Drop Box (to get an idea how the BDB works).
  2. If there’s a module for a particular Bible resource below that’s already been produced and would save you from having to submit that resource to the BDB for conversion.

To the best of our knowledge, the following resources are either public domain, or are made available with the permission of the copyright owner (probably because they made it available online with a generous licence). If you go to the Settings information links on the following pages, you should be able to see the source of the resource under the heading Supplied File metadata.

Note: Although some Bible organisations seem suspicious about our name Freely-Given.org, in fact we DO NOT promote the violation of copyrights on Christian and Biblical resources. Instead, we are merely part of the growing world-wide movement that encourages owners of such materials to consider making them available to the world as a freely given resource because we have been freely given so much ourselves. Anyway, if you know of other Bible or Bible commentary resources (i.e., resources with books, chapters, and verses) which could be added to this page, please let us know via our Contact page. Alternatively if you see anything here which either shouldn’t be here (for copyright reasons), or for which you know of a better or more up-to-date source than the one we have used, please do contact us.
