17 in_year thirty and_nine year of_Azariah the _king of _Yəhūdāh he _became _king Menahem the _son of _Gadi over Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) ten years in/on/at/with_Shomərōn.
18 And_he/it _made the_evil in/on_both _eyes _of of _Yahweh not he _turned _aside from_under the _sins of _Yārāvəˊām the _son of _Nebat which he _caused _to _sin DOM Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) all his/its_days.
19 He _came Pul the _king of _Assyria on the_earth/land and_he/it _gave Menahem to_Pul a _thousand talent[s] of _silver to_be hand_his with_him/it to_strengthen the_kingdom in_his/its_hand.
20 And_exacted Menahem DOM the_money on Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) on all the _mighty _[men] the_wealthy to_give to_king of _Assyria fifty shekels silver from_one one and_withdrew the _king of _Assyria and_not he _remained there on _the_earth.
21 And_rest of _the _matters of _Menahem and_all that he _did am_not [are]_they written on the _scroll of _the _matters the_days of_kings of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
22 And_slept Menahem with fathers_his and_became _king Pekahiah son_his in _place_his.
