Judas agreed to put Jesus into his enemies’ hands.

Judas agreed to put Jesus into his enemies’ hands.

Luke 22:1-6

22It was now almost time to celebrate the festival of Unleavened Bread, which began with the Passover festival. 2The chief priests and the men who taught the Jewish laws were seeking a way to kill Jesus. But they wanted to do it secretly, because they were afraid that if they did not do it secretly, the people might riot.

3Then even though Judas, who was called the man from Kerioth village, was one of the twelve disciples, Satan entered him. 4Judas went and conferred with the chief priests and the officers of the Temple guards. He discussed with them how he could enable them to seize Jesus. 5They were pleased that he wanted to do that. They offered to give him money for doing it. 6So he agreed, and they gave him the money. Then he tried to find an opportunity to enable them to seize Jesus when there was no crowd around him.
